Saraf - Post 5

Saraf glanced around, passed his own unit, to the others that were around him and after a while he found himself starring at Nuri and... some woman that he had hanging off of him. He couldn't help but to lift an eyebrow as he tried to process the scene before him. He'd gotten himself a foreign wife, something Saraf didn't exactly approve of, and from what he'd heard ended up with a trio of children, and now... an Oban mistress? It seemed a bit as though he was going about things in the opposite manner that one should. Not that Saraf wanted a foreign mistress on top of a wife, he didn't think that he was ready for a wife at this point.

After giving a humming sound he started over toward his friend, unable to sate his curiosity. He knew that it wasn't exactly his place to disapprove one way or the other, nor was it his business, but there was still that inkling of curiosity. Who was she? Where had Nuri picked her up? Why did he pick an Oban now? Nuri hadn't really struck him as the sort that wanted a pure blood heir, but he supposed he'd see soon enough?

Upon reaching the pair he crossed his arms over his chest, one eyebrow lifted, as he asked in a curious manner, "Doing well enough in the army that you can afford a mistress?"

She nodded in agreement, shuffling closer to the pair as they hurried forward. She had heard the festival here involved a parade, and sure enough, its inevitable cacophony reached her a little after the Obans noticed it had begun.

"The tournament was very entertaining," Mosi replied, eyes everywhere at once as she tried to take it all in. "We don't have anything approaching that scale back home. I'm afraid none of my people fared very well at all." She smirked at that, the first real positive expression that had crossed her face since she'd stopped. "Ask anything you'd like and I'll answer to the best of my ability."

He hadn't thought of that. Serr paused, then smiled sheepishly, looking down at his hands.

"We should." He kept his eyes on the spectacle as it passed, speaking up again when about a quarter of the parade had gone by, at least from what he could see. "We could get down from here and follow along now, or we could wait a little longer and take the roofs." It was fairly obvious he was only joking since he was still faintly smiling, but it couldn't hurt to throw it out there as a suggestion.

Arima - 4

"Will do." Arima nodded though as Saraf walked away she half-raised her hand before pulling it back to her chest. He was going to the parade. It wasn't like she expected much out of a stranger anyways! "He's a soldier...so he's doing his duty." A small half-smile decorated her face before she turned around to get swallowed back up by the crowd.

There really were so many people here!

Flushed with excitement and a bit of nervousness the girl began to move her way through the crowd. She wanted to keep up with the procession just to see all the sights...not to keep up with anyone in particular. Though I really hope I can find my way back after this. This was a different era so she shouldn't still be afraid of lingering chains, right?

Nadiya - 2

Dancing around on her heels, Nadiya swore she felt a familiar presence. Perhaps she was just imagining things? Smirking the girl tossed her flute up in the air before catching it again. The parade was forming!

Despite her reserves about Oba this was pretty exciting. Humming rather loudly the girl began to march alongside the parade with interest. She wasn't just about watching things - she'd much rather move along with them!

Dris'rynne Post Two

Keeping an eye on anyone or anything in such a large crowd was bothersome for the merc. Everything on her right was a dark void, and while she could hear approaching figures, Dris'rynne could never tell if they were friendly or not. She may have learned long ago how to cope with her disability, but acceptance didn't make her any less jumpy.

Granted, with the way she was sitting, her sole eye was able to watch the oncoming parade while the other...

So, it stood to reason that when Tes slid his way closer to her while Dris' attention was on the growing festivities that she had a bit of a start. Alright, maybe she squealed and maybe she almost fell off her perch. "D-don't do that!" Had her skin not been it's darkened day version her cheeks would have been a lovely shade of violet.

Dris'rynne made a disgusted noise, somewhere akin to a full on groan with healthy dosage of sigh. "Only you would think about drinking in the middle of the day." Shaking her head, Dris'rynne leaned her spine against the building at her back and reached out to place her hand against Tes' arm. This way she could watch the parade and keep an eye on him.

A rare burst of excitement ebbed out of her once the parade actually started. The merc found herself craning her head, hoping to get a better look of the performers and dancers. "Is it always this loud?" She...had never been around something quite this lively outside of battle, and in all honesty, it was more than a little overwhelming. "Do we...are we supposed to follow them?"

Aqio- Post 6

The water tribesmen smiled gently. "Yes the one with the ink is my elder twin...beside him is actually not a assassin. That's a healer we've been taking care of. My brother's rather smitten with them." he tilted his head. "If you raise a beast from a young age...they'll be more hesitant to turn on you as they get older. Kyri has never harmed her Master or any he forbade her fangs to sink into. You just need someone who can train them..."

He loosely crossed his arms as he smiled at the other. "Its a simple task. I know enough to train a beast in the basics...was raised around it pretty much."

Abie- Post 6

The water male nodded. "They know better. It'll only happen if someone tries to make a issue with us..." Abie reached out to gently pull Incanthis to his side as they watched the end of the parade he hummed. "Games? Or did you want to hear what the King has to say?"

He didn't care either way.

Xarnith- Post 6

The bigger wind male smiled gently as he secured his hold with the other. Then he started to lead him to where he saw the stalls as he passed by them on his initial search for his partner. Fractis let out a series of purrs as the duo walked. Xarnith saw a stall which looked to be selling small random trinkets...maybe Bisera could find something there of use.

"What about that stall?" he pointed towards it looking down at the smaller male.

Aeuri Post 4

Aeuri let himself be grabbed and pulled, glancing toward his sister and wondering if she was having any issues with her own dress and moving through the crowd. They were small enough to slip through legs and bodies, but also were in tighter clothing than they normally were used to. It was a bit of an issue, but Aeuri ignored it as he moved about and tried to be optimistic.

As the horns blared and the music began, Aeuri frowned and stilled with his siblings.

"It's starting..." He mumbled after a moment, glancing about as the crowd cheered. He was a bit off kilter thanks to all of the bodies, but was able to wrap his mind around it after a moment once he heard his brother speak, "Uhm...well I think I can climb in this..." He said, gesturing to his fancy outfit.

Phaedra Post ?

She stared at him for a moment as she heard the invitation to go along with him. Could she really just do that? Phaedra wanted to but she also wanted to find Mano and Kyrian. Maybe if she sent a note to Mano? Let him know that she was traveling with a friend and would head to Matori afterwards? "I'd like that." She finally said. That meant she would have more time to get to know Bushi.

Yitzah (Post 4)
~~~~~~~~~~
A speech, huh. Sounded boring. Well, since she was here, she might as well, right? Just to see how they did it. Yes, she might as well follow them, even if it was a pain in the butt. "What." she said, turning to the Oban, "You're coming with me?" Yitzah wasn't sure how she felt about that, but she supposed it was fine. About as fine as anything else, really. "So ten years, huh. Where've you been?" Yitzah asked, vaguely curious.
Eziya Post 5
"Taking the roofs, huh? You think you could manage that? I know I certainly could," Eziya teased, standing up as she did so. She wasn't as adventurous as she used to be, and she doubted either of them would be willing to get into too much danger hopping along the roofs.
"We should best get going before the parade leaves us behind."
Xariy Post 4
"Oh ya know, out and about. Running around wherever I wanted to," she began to explain as she moved away from the cart she was working, beginning to follow along after the crowd to see the parade.
"Stuck around Sauti for a good while. It's a nice place. Quite a bit different from here."
Serr
The leaf snorted, rising to his feet after she did and descending the ladder back to the street. Thankfully, no one seemed to care that they had used it for their own personal business, and they were conveniently ignored as he wove them behind the crowds, closer to the palace. As far as he knew, all that awaited them there was a speech, given by some pompous noble, but he supposed it would be worth seeing once. The palace itself definitely was. He'd had no reason to get so close before, and it was probably the most spectacular building he'd ever laid eyes on.
