Elidae still wasn't sure about this. She still wasn't sure about this as she was slipped into a scanity clad outfit full of sequins and rumblephere enhancing liners. In all honesty, the girl was entirely confused by the whole event, wondering what in the world she did to be able to participate. She danced once in front of Chiara a few nights previous, and here she was. Waiting to go on stage. At least there were others here doing it?

When she stepped out onto the stage, Elidae could only stare like an antlerbeast in headlights. The nervous smile and wide eyes denoted she was still unsure. Suddenly, her anxiety flared up. There was... so many people. And... what was she wearing? What was she supposed to do? She stepped to the side, her dress glittering underneath the hot lights reflecting from the movement. At least she wasn't cold?

When the music came on, she remained in the same position, staring out into the crowd of unknown faces. Guess she was to dance... right? Tapping her foot, Elidae tried to determine the rhythm of the song. At first, her dancing was nothing extraordinary. Just your regular. As she tried to hit her target for an attack, it failed miserably. She wobbled over in a very unattractive fashion. She caught herself and took a peek at the crowd, hearing a few murmurs of disappointment. There was a pit in her chest. She was failing.

Don't get so discouraged, Bonbon! You got this! She tried to assure herself, staring at the dummy with determination. She could do this! With her self-fulfilled courage, the freckled yellowblood motioned her body like never before, ready to fight that dummy and put on a show. Her moves were enough to knock her target to the ground, much to her glee, and she let out a squeal of delight by her hand work. Huffing from exhaustion, she turned to the crowd and did a bow.

"THANK YOU!" She shouted, blowing the crowd a flirty kiss with both hands, and waved herself off stage.

It was the last night of Bloodfest and he still didn't know what he was going to do. Part of him was relieved to pack up and head home, he needed to go clear his head on the mountain. On the other hand, it didn't feel right leaving things this way with Elidae. She'd dropped by The Nightly Grind booth a few times now in stony silence to make it clear she was still unhappy. Each time he'd visited her booth he'd chickened out or run out of time to talk with her.

'What should I do?' The greenblood sighed, slowing his pace. He wasn't used to fighting with others like this. Well it wasn't really a fight but rather a mistake. But he didn't know how to fix it or if he even should. It would be a lot easier to fade out of her life and let her hook up with that greenblooded gunslinger if she hated him. Nucleo still hadn't checked if Elidae knew about the incident with Odette at the Starlight booth and was afraid to bring it up. He didn't want to be disappointed by her response. He didn't want the memory of his first crush to go sour.

'But what if she doesn't approve?' It was possible Elidae would be horrified by Kursha's actions and distance herself from the guy. Then there would be no more competition (to his knowledge) and she could start to notice him.

The very thought made him feel ill.

'You're such an idiot.' Nucleo mused to himself. He couldn't bring himself to tarnish her crush on the greenblood for such a selfish reason. It wasn't that it felt dishonest (though he hated being that too) but that it felt selfish. If he had a good reason to mention the threat then he wouldn't feel so weird about it but to approach her randomly about it seemed like he just wanted to make drama. Kursha was his own troll and Elidae was too, the things Kursha did were his own obligation to share, right? Or was he putting her in danger by not telling her? Why did his stupid brain have to make this so complicated!

'I know. I'll just avoid her for the rest of the festival. I'll figure it out later.' The boy decided and it was settled. Until the sound of music blasting began and Nucleo looked up to discover the very yellowblood who was tormenting his dreams on stage in a skimpy outfit that would also torment his dreams later.

"E-elidae?" Stunned, Nucleo's jaw dropped as she began to dance to the music. She didn't have the grace of a professional but the moves she did have were more than enough for him. Cheeks flushing green, he stared as she stumbled at the target dummies and missed. The way she caught herself! The angle of her body! Those dazzling eyes!

'How can I forget this!?' He'd wanted to try and suppress his crush and somehow stumbled on a scene that only made the attraction stronger! He was starting to see that it wasn't looking possible. Flustered, he ducked away from the stage and raced behind a nearby booth to try and calm himself down.
