Lt. Prehnite - Get the Shiny! Watching, amazed, as the creature was taken on from all sides, through the dust and kicked up debris.
The glittering bone going flying under the barrage of attacks from those with the strength to make them count, and the whirling of the enraged creature; trying to dislodge them like so many biting ants. His gaze tracked the flying bone, and then the Alphas that chased it. It was almost humorous, that the pair of pack leading 'dogs' would follow the bone. It would be a tragedy if they got their jaws on it though; he didn't even want to think about chasing them down through this boneyard for their prize.
Theirs, not those damned Youmas. Prehnite cursed and took off with the others, caring more that the Alphas were kept away from the bone than whether or not he would be the first to grab it. Plus, the further away from the beetle he was, the happier he would be. That thing was all sorts of 'no thank you' as far as he was concerned.
Beckoning Chaos Wrote FWEE, HERE BONE! Anything he can walk away from is a good thing.

Super Sailor Typhon
The mission goal was clear: get that ******** crystalized bone. There was still a giant beatle youma to waste, sure, but he couldn't let the bone out of his sight either. He charged after the alphas with the bone and dove in bravely and dangerously, a full bodied tackle as he tried to attack the alphas and grab the bone.

General Xenotime
There goal was clear; they were needed the bone. Any thing beyond that was a means to an ends. Distractions meant to derail them. Well, Xenotime wouldn't be derailed, nor, it seemed, would her agents. They moved as one, she could see them all all closing in around her, all racing after their objective, an the general smiled as she fell into a sprint with them.
She was, of course, still injured, still bleeding, and that did have an effect.

Captain Moonstone - Chasing Doggums~
Wasgo knocked the crystalline bone free and made a loud yelp of excitement, alerting it's mistress that something had changed, had happened. She immediately looked towards her youma and noticed that the bone was gone, that the Alpha lupine youma were lunging after it. No! They can't have it! "The bone is free!" If any hadn't already noticed or heard, she gave warning, but many were already in motion, darting after the pair of Alphas or even finishing off the massive beast upon whom Moonstone stood.
Immediately the dark-haired captain began running along the giant beetle's back, whistling sharply for Wasgo. Her youma whirled around so that she could leap down onto him and give chase, an ululating cry rising high and sharp over the din of battle as she came ever closer to her goal. Good, good Wasgo, bring me closer - give me the chance! Under her, the beast's pieces churned, pushing limits in the service of it's Mistress and the joy of the hunt.
Moonstone and Wasgo sped past aged bone and human bodies, everything a blur of colour with no true shape; Mistress and Beast straining as one towards their goal - senses pin-pointed wholly on reaching the crystal bone, on keeping it from the Alphas and returning it to Metallia.

Captain Titanlåvenite
The bone flew free in the cluster of movement and violence, and some of the other agents disengaged to go after it. After the wolves. Titan stayed as he was- wounded opponents were still capable of harming others, especially one so large as the beetle. They all needed it to be dusted, or it would make of their backs what it had of the cliff.
I am glad it is a Youma, really. Imagine how much goo would come out of a beetle this size when killed if it were a normal kind. He swung his hammer again. It will still be a lot of dust. It will be a mess.

Haüyne, Corrupted Super Senshi of Execution
Laying hands on the bone, as it flew free, was the worst idea in the world, as far as Haüyne was concerned, for a corrupted senshi. It was making one's self to be not just a target, but the targets' targets' target of targets. But with a lot of others looking to do JUST THAT, it seemed like a pretty good idea to follow that way while the Beetle was getting it's just deserts.
Because someone had to flying dragon kick the alpha wolfy things still, and that someone might as well be in part the corrupted super.

Captain Zircon
It seemed they were gaining some traction on the beetle youma--with the collective efforts of everyone involved, Zircon watched with wide eyes as the glowing artifact lodged in its carapace went flying, just in time for the wolves to spring into action. The gears in her head whirred as the bone spun in the air, considering her options. There were already officers rushing for it, but that bone could be her ticket to getting the recognition from Metallia she'd earned. If she could manage to grab it, then just maybe Tourmaline wouldn't be the only member of the Wolf Pack walking away that night with a new title.
It was risky, and it expended more energy than she'd wanted to use, but Zircon volleyed herself from the fight with the beetle, throwing herself into the fray with the wolves. Her heart was pounding in her head, but all of that would be trivial if she could be the one to present Metallia with her prize.Beckoning Chaos mild to moderate damage is all good~

Lt. Stibnite
Stibnite wanted to snap back at the orders her General gave her as her skills could have been useful. However, she also realized that as others took off for the bone, there was something else she could do...
"Raspite, I got your back." Stibnite called out as she used her trained step to catch up with the other member of their 'family'. He had the reach and size...she had the speed.
With a nod towards him, Stibnite braced herself. She would protect him from an attack and give him a chance to move forward.

Quote: Good job everyone! Anyone who participated in this ORP and posted at least 500 words can count this for a battle towards their next growth requirement! You may write an exit for your character or move them direction into the conclusion ORP. Make sure you check it out if you find out what to bone is for—and what plans Metallia has for it! Thank you all for playing!

Benitoite. He could have remained and fought the beetle further but he hadn't, that wasn't the mission. He had seen the horn go flying off and than watching the alpha wolf youma go after it his decision had been made. He didn't even need to hear Witherite but he had - the other was going too. Witherite was going to go after the bone as well. Nodding his head to the others words he took off in the direction it had gone flying, hoping to get there in time before it could be perhaps dragged off by those two youma.
Unable to teleport, as he didn't know just where the bone was, he was left to running on a bad leg after the pair.
Perhaps it was a good thing he was injured, maybe not, as he had lagged behind enough to avoid all the fighting which had gone on between agents and wolves. He had arrived in time for the horn to come into their possession. His focus wasn't on that for more than a few seconds before his slate eyes sought out, and locked on to, Witherite. Making his way over to inspect the other. "You're ok?" The general questioned the other. Now he had to find Huntite and figure out where his other Lieutenant had gone to...and they all had a castle to get back to and present the bone to.
"I think I know what we're going to be doing." He whispered for Witherite only to hear. "If it's what I think...things are going to get very interesting...and dangerous for the white moon."

Super Sailor Typhon"Oh fuuuuck," Typhon gasped as Proustite disappeared. A rush of adrenaline came over him like he just watched a brutal World Star fight video. "s**t, that was Captain Prostate!" He turned to Xenotime. "Do we need to go get him or worry about ourselves?" He was praying to himself that he could stay safe and not get dragged into whatever pit of hell the captain was dragged off into. He would like to live, tyvm.

Corrupted Valeria.Taking note of the other corrupted senshi's name, and storing the name away as she hoped to have future contact with her, Valeria needed to know people and have friends here - she did. As the other corrupted introduced her to the cat she wondered if the poor thing really was insane - she didn't seem it...but maybe she was? She was sure to file away the advice though about food offered from the cat.
As the bone went flying and Ate spoke up she nodded her head, they did indeed need the bone. It seemed though that a lot of officers were going after it...and they had a beetle in the way. "Don't think he'll let us go....I'll stay here with you." She said, not wanting to run off on her own and into who knows what danger - nope she was staying.
Actually Valeria did stay and would have helped against the beetle if she hadn't stepped on a bone and tripped, falling backward, and rekindling the pain from the original fall - damn it! She had fallen before and it hurt and even this slight fall just awoke the pain and kept her on the ground even as the beetle was dealt a finishing blow and they were left safe-ish.
Looking around for Ate, for anyone, she wondered if the other group had gotten that horn and what the plans for it were. Matisha Yes, the two must become friends then.

Captain Titanlåvenite
Dust. Dust Everywhere. Titan held his breath and held still a moment waiting for some of the particulate to settle in order to be able to make out anything that was going on. When he could, the wolves were already long gone, and there were people talking here or there too far away were the pursuit had taken them. There were some agents bleeding. It looked like Moonstone had the target of their journey, from the glow and the small, joint silhoutette of what must have been her on Wasgo. Good. She'll keep a hold of it as we go. The rest of us can play guard then on the way back in case anything else thinks to take it.
The large captain looked at the easier path reveals, as well as the cliff itself in it's ruined state. Probably safer that we all walk. That doesn't look stable for throwing or jumping.
He waited to see if the he could find the other small captain- Zircon- in case she wanted a ride again out of the Rift. Or in case any of the other agents needed. "Is anyone too injured to walk safely? We should not stay still. I can carry. "
AMItotic Only if you want, Taxi service ~~ ________________________________________________________________ ________________________________Haüyne, Corrupted Super Senshi of Execution Haüyne landed and skidded, cursing for overshooting the mark, or marks, and sailing past the wolve-things that then set on a bunch of people in the rear with abandon. Until they didn't. And started scarpering.
AND WITH A CAPTAIN. "Hey!! "
BALLS. The blue and red corrupted ran after for a few feet before noticing most of the others weren't pursuing as well. We're not gonna leave 'um, are we? I mean...after last time...Bus and I would have been lunch and dinner on our own. I go out there alone, I'll be a pizza at a bandcamp.
Blue eyes looked from General to General, Captain to Captain. "Is that guy just...done for?"

General Labyrinthite
He was covered in dust from head to toe, the pink of his hair turned gray from the dust that now coated it. He would have been annoyed if it had not meant that the beast was dead and the bone retrieved. Moonstone held it securely in her hands and the general was merely glad that all was said and done.
So, he dusted himself off, ran a hand through his hair and pressed his hand against his wound to feel the extend of the damage. It was unpleasant but nothing unmanageable, he could stitch it when they returned home.
What was important now was that he rounded up the ones that had arrived with him; Zircon, Wolfeite, and Serpierite. Upon locating them and a quick assessment, he found them to be in mostly one piece. There was a long standing look exchanged between himself and Zircon, as though he was asking if she was fairing well enough, when the larger captain, Titanlåvenite, offered his carrying services.
She had allowed it once, perhaps she would allow it again.
So he moved towards the young lieutenant as he passed his half-youma captain, the palm of his hand pressing against the small of the wolf-man's back. "How are you faring? Are you fit for the trek back or do you need assistance?" He was strong enough, used to injuries that carrying her if need would be easy.
To Wolfeite he regarded the tears in his uniform carefully. "Once we return to our mistress and are permitted to leave I will tend to you."

Half Youma Captain Wolfeite
The front of his uniform was shredded and bloodied, the dark gray of his undershirt visible beneath the black and red. Scarlet streaked Wolfeite's face and hands, glowing gold eyes gleaming in the dark, and he was breathing heavily, ears still flat against his hair.
His head was still hazy with adrenaline, and when a hand pressed against his back, rigid with tension, Wolfeite snarled, an involuntary, instinctive sound that came from low in his throat. His head snapped around to find Labyrinthite looking down at him, whiskey eyes glancing at his torn uniform.
Wolfeite dragged in a sharp breath, licking his lips, and closed his eyes briefly before opening them again, steadying the desire to fight, to shrug the hand off and snap the bones inside, or to do something - but he could do none of those things. Not when he needed this to work.
"I'm fine," he said roughly, giving a quick shake of his head, reigning in his violent impulses to something more restrained. The pain was starting to creep through the haze, the scrapes on his chest beginning to throb now that he was more aware of them.
"We've got what the mistress asked for," said Wolfeite, with a tense nod. "We've done it."
