It was the cold that Oort had noticed first, the chill pulling him from unconsciousness as reddish eyes slowly opened and peered owlishly at his surroundings.
It had been followed up by the fact that the monsters were gone. Well actually so was the cavern with all the purple crystals and the scary-scary Lady and dead dragon monster, however Oort was more focused on the fact that there were no monsters - or on the face of it there didn't seem to be any.
Tomlinwas here too - wherever here was - the ginger tabby collapsed in a heap close to where he was standing and so Oort abandoned trying to figure just where here was in favour of walking over to the star cat.
His reddish eyes had peered down anxiously at Tomlin for a few moments until it had sunk in that the other appeared to be sleeping and it hadn't take much for Oort to make the decision to settle in to wait for the other to wake up.
He wasn't sure how long he had been waiting when he heard the voice calling first his name and then Tomlin's, although it was coming up from further up past some people who were in front of him...
And it had sounded likeOberon'svoice.
He had continued sitting in place for a few moments, absently worrying at his lower lip as he tried to work out what to do because whilst he was happy that Oberon was away from all the monsters too, Oort wasn't about to just leave Tomlin while he was all pooped out and asleep.
Finally however Oort stood and with a muttered "Sorry Tomlin"finally reached out to scoop up the star cat, ignoring the way how the movement made his scratched up shoulder sting in favour of picking up the other as carefully as he could.
And then he had headed in the direction of where he thought that the voice had come from, winding his way past people until finally he was close to a lady, albeit one who was not looking too good.
Oberon was trying to hand a white-haired senshi (Thyrmr) close to her some water and the others from their group appeared to be there too - Perdita and Ambrosia, Charatoo in addition a glowy lilac-haired girl (Hugbell).
There wasn't much time to really say anything though even though Oort was really, really glad that they'd made it away from the monsters too, as the lady was speaking and she was asking for the starseeds.
Oort set Tomlin down as gently after one last careful look at the star cat stepped forward"I have starseeds"he said quietly as he carefully started to take out the ones that he had been carrying.

Falias, Squire of Earth
"I have starseeds too"Falias said as he carefully set down the makeshift bag that he had made out of the yellow and blue trimmed blue top containing them that he had come across and his belt.
His belt he took back, but he left the top, his green eyes taking in those around him and by the white haired woman.
There were a bunch of kids - all somehow senshi - and an orange tabby cat with a star on its forehead.
Falias looked away because they looked younger than the red-haired senshi with the pail had been and the thought of kids doing all of this made him feel uncomfortable...
Because the youngest one in the group looked like they weren't even in high school yet and the thought of them going through the stuff that they had gone through in Negaspace and with the dragon and the murderous General Queen was making him feel a little queasy.
His eyes locked on a knight - this one a Squire like him by the feel of it - and the symbols on the uniform marked him out as a fellow Earth knight.
And he appeared to be holding his arm awkwardly.
Falias stepped in his direction, his green eyes concerned as he called out"Hey are you okay?"

The stories failed to rouse a great sense of empathy within him. Failed was, perhaps, the wrong word; he felt closer to shock than simple detachment. Aegir spoke of fighting the dragon firsthand, of touching it when the great creature enveloped in flame. His body bore immense pains and marks from all the endeavors of their strike, including a hackneyed bandage at his side. Inflammation looked like it already set in around his ribs. The man looked no better off than Scholomance did, and even Skoll did not escape unscathed - she, too, showed deep and terrible burns on her hand. Even with the distant offer of Cosmos, he doubted that an overnight stay in the cushy ruins of the Moon would do them much good.
"Sounds like all of us found no shortage of hell. Was Apatite some sort of general?" The name sounded unfamiliar, and he did not recall encountering any agents with chakrams. There had been far too many that night to keep track of, and the count littering the floor of Negaspace grew beyond number. After a time, he simply started stepping over the bodies and ignoring that he now walked on a platform of skewered, cooked flesh.
"I'm not certain this venture was a bright one," he returned, looking around. "I'm guessing it cost Order as much as it cost the Negaverse. I certainly didn't get what I came for." Scholomance paused to huff, and quickly regretted it. "We found the Code in the depths of this abandoned building, hostaged by a large scorpion youma. I didn't get to look at any of the artifacts there, however. No books, no scrolls, no tapestries... Nothing. All that history hidden in that place is gone. It might've been the Academy - the Knights' greatest point of heritage aside from Olympus. Instead I got roped into obnoxious battles."
And now we're on the Moon and someone named Cosmos brought us here.
"So we are," he agreed as he looked to the sky. Earth swelled in its brilliant blues, the great continents flecked with greens and browns. The aura of atmosphere illuminated the world breathtakingly well.
Finally he looked back to Skoll and Aegir. "So how do we get back? All three of us need cold water to stop our meat from cooking through, and we're not going to find a drop of it on the Moon if scientists are right." There had been the lake surrounding Scholomance on Saturn, however - perhaps the Moon still hid some desperately-needed supplies. "But that's not going to stop infection from setting in. We can't just wait around here until we're septic." Speech hurt, he found, as if his teeth were fighting to squirm out of his jaw. As if his entire skeleton threatened to break all muscle and unhinge from each other, periosteum be damned.

Sailor Enif
At Adria's yelp she nearly pulled away, fearful she'd hurt her friend, but when he threw his arms around her as well she was glad she hadn't yet. Especially as she pulled him a little closer, just for piece of mind.
"It's okay," she managed out, hoping it sounded as soothing as she wanted it to. "I think it was bound to happen, that was just a huge mess!" She felt just as bad that she hadn't managed to keep an eye on him.
Granted it was hard to when you'd been punched in the gut and trying to keep something worse from happening.
"I'm okay. And... I think Cas is okay?" She hadn't seen her yet again. "I lost track of her while we were fighting an agent. She was with me and then poof I was here and I haven't seen her yet."
Not caring about getting blood on herself, she hugged him tight once more then moved to look over his injury. It didn't look bad, head wounds just bled a lot.
"You seem like you're relatively okay too. And that's a relief as well."
At Cosmos' request, Cordoba approached slowly, reaching into her pockets to begin giving the seeds to Cosmos. It was a careful motion, slow, careful not to harm a single one - even now, Cavansite's threat to take her starseed rang in her memory and she knew - knew these souls suffered enough. Instead she was careful to slowly and gently spread the Starseeds at Cosmos' feet in a careful, respectful motion to both their savior and the souls themselves, murmuring a soft prayer for each before first looking to Cosmos.
"Thank you, for saving us. If I can do anything else..."
But knowing the seeds would be safe helped, and then she blinked, and reached, grabbing Aldafi and yanking her over.
"And you. Empoty your pockets hoarder."
Alsafi squeaked as her arm was yanked and she was drawn tothe spot before Cosmos, all but pouting before Cordoba gibbsmacked the back of her head, the pyro senshi squeaking before pouting, and begrudgingly began emptying her own pockets.
"Man, Tron, you are so not fun... What about my loot?!"
"That's not my problem. Those are people's souls, idiot."
That brought a pause to Alsafi, the senshi blinking before looking to Cordoba, and she held a straggler up in her fingers, squinting at it.
"These are souls? Souls are shiny. Alas." She put the starseeds down imitating Cordoba, though less neatly, and once her pockets were empty, she sighed, shaking her head.
"Man, Brody is not going to believe me now. Or, well, he will, but still."
Cordoba groaned, shaking her head before Alsafi's brow twitched, and this time, she pulled Cordoba's hair irritably, the page yelping.
"It's not MY fault I didn't know! I've never saved anyone before! I didn't know I had ENEMIES!"
Cordoba blinked, and groaned.
"Don't tell me... When..."
"Dunno, maybe a week or two ago my cat began taling and-"
Cordoba's hands flew to her face and she groaned, looking to Cosmos.
"n behalf of this unrepentant scrublord I apologize for her ignorance."
But not her stupidity. She'd just let her suffer for that.

Starseeds are on the ground at Cosmos' feet so she doesn't need to risk expending energy handling them for now. Cordoba still apologizes. Alsafi however is a newbie scrublord.

Shangri-la, Squire of Pluto - MEDIC MAKING ROUNDS
Cybele's injury was not to bad, he smiled at her when he finished stitching the wound and squeezing her shoulder gently in a comforting way. He was a pediatric ER doctor, it was his nature. He took a little bit of Neosporin from his pocket and but it on the wound.
"I can't cover it, but just be careful, not to do anything strenuous so you do not rip the stitch. it's not to deep, so I think the threat of infection isn't high, but it you develop a high fever get to the hospital."
The next girl had bigger wounds, but Shang was confident that he could fix her up quickly enough. He moved to clean her wounds, but another girl answered that she was only bruised it became quickly apparent that she was not fine.
Another girl was very shaken and started to sing to herself, it reminded him of his sister and wondered if maybe she could help. He reached out and stroked the girl's hair, "you did good. I know it's hard, but you do not have to do anything you do not want to. Stick close to your friends, they'll look out for you through all this."
He moved back to Emily and continued to clean her wounds, before applying a topical anesthetic and making to stick the wounds. Again he said to her, "I've numbed is best I can. I do not have much so I most conserve, but it shouldn't hurt to bad. Just bare with me and I will get it done quickly."
He worked to stitch the wounds one at a time and mumbled as he worked. "As with the other young lady, please get to hospital if you develop a fever. It's a sign of infection, we heal more quickly than most though, so you should be fine."
A cat jump on his shouldered at some point asking if she could help and she certainly could. "Yes, could you find the injured for me, find out what their injuries are and report back to me. Let them know an ER doctor is coming around and I will be offering my services as soon as possible to anyone who needs it. The most injured will be prioritized."
To the male senshi who said he was okay, but could give people a boost he looked to him as she finished the second stitch on the girl he was working on. "You should move about and find anyone is weak or even severely injured. A boost might help until someone can get to them to help them"
He rubbed the girls arms and smiled at her, "you did good, you'll be find."
To both girl's he said, "the stitches will need to be removed. If you do not want to go to the hospital. I'm in the park, 5 nights a week. My name is Shangri-la and I can remove them for you. Otherwise make an appointment at the hospital, you can even ask for me if you like. My name is Xander Jacobs, Dr. Xander Jacobs."
He turned and looking out to the crowd, "IF YOU WENT TO THE BARRACKS AND TOOK SUPPLIES FROM THE INFIRMARY AND ARE ABLE, MAKE USE OF THEM OR GIVE THEM TO SOMEONE WHO CAN."
He looked to his sister, "I could use your help Maia."
He turned back to the crew, "stick together. I will be back to check on you all later."
Shang moved on to find the next injured person. Managing to stumble upon a pair with a young girl, who appeared in grave sorts. "I'm an pediatric ER doctor. Youre doing great," he said to them, "Can I help?"

Done, with your stitches, little comfort offered too
He did not power down, but wasn't surprised others were doing just that. If this place was a haven away from the Negaverse, then conserving energy by powering down was a logical step for some. Some, it probably wasn't even a choice at this point. For him, he would push what little energy he did have to stay in uniform. He did not want to be anything but Gevaudan around these people.
Pushing himself up onto his elbows, he looked over at Cosmos crumbled in ruffles on the ground. "I just like to be responsible and claim responsibility." He informed her back. "But I think resting is good for some, but the IF you die isn't. Is there a way we can collectively pay you back in energy to bring you back from an early grave. You saved us from death. Least we can do is pay back the favor."
He looked around at anyone who might know about energy transfers. "Anyone know how we can pay back Cosmos for pulling us out of there. Kinda owe her one."

Sabine, Senshi of Tactics
Everything was running together, and it was hard for Sabine to follow all the different voices. All she wanted to do was sleep and pretend this had never happened. No forget about the death and the pain and the fact that they had walked through hell and now someone else might die just because they couldn't help her and she had saved their lives.
It made her feel sick to her stomach.
When Arthur rested against her foot, she reached down and started to pet him absently, she didn't care about his mess of fur. He was comfort and she was glad he was okay.
She didn't answer Kai, or Nirvana, just gave both of them looks before turning her attention to Cosmos, to her question about Caedus.
Sabine had spoken to the cloaked man at length, she had asked much about his homeworld - and she knew there was still much she didn't know about him. She was far from an expert but...
She slowly got up from Kai's side, disengaged from his one armed hug, carefully reached down and shifted Arthur aside, and picked up her pail of starseeds, bringing them to Cosmos, she sank to her knees next to the woman, and began to talk.
"I spoke to Sir Caedus twice... I can't attest to knowing him well, but I will share with you what I know... If there is some way we can help you..." She looked at Cosmos, guilt running through her...
"I don't want you to be the first death on my conscience if I can help it... I chose to go through the portal Sir Caedus made. I trusted... still trust him. I do not think he intended for us to fair as badly as we did..."
Taking a slow breath to calm herself, she pushed her pail closer to Cosmos and began.
"Sir Caedus and his people once had a real planet. He did not give me its name, but his people shared it with another... They were not the best of neighbors, and Sir Caedus and his people left... They built a new world - of crystals and synthetics... They traveled with it throughout the galaxy. They had an alliance with Earth for resources... One he was going to renew... when the Negaverse captured him and imprisoned him. He is not... human like we are. He will not let us see his face, but I have hugged him, and he felt real enough."
Chewing her bottom lip, she thought for another moment. "He was weak and feeble, and worried he would not live much longer. He just wants to go home. Back to his people. He asked us to gather energy for him to do so, to make a portal both for us to attack the Negaverse and for him to go home. Again, I don't think he expected us to fare so poorly in this fight - but we knew... or thought we knew... what we were getting into."
Her hand went into her jacket and she touched the horn that Caedus had given her. "I... I don't think someone who's seen a unicorn can be capable of ill intent... At least I would hope not..." Perhaps she was more naive than she thought?
Shaking her head, she looked back at Kai, Nirvana and Arthur. They had gotten the worst of it really. She'd only lost a part of her innocence in this fight. They'd gotten hurt, physically hurt. Turning back to Cosmos she bowed her head sheepishly. "That's... all I really know, I'm sorry if its not a lot of help."

Corinth, Page of Neptune
The sudden stop was disorienting, but not nearly as much as the sudden change of locale. The fact that the Earth floated overhead was... strange to say the least, and the castle was completely foreign to him. But still, Dallol was nearby, and the first thing Corinth did was march over to her and start looking her over for injuries.
"You said yes," He said softly, but his tone belied that he was about ready to start losing his mind. "You said if we made it out alive we'd get married..." He took her hand and kissed it, looking at her for a long moment.
"Well, guess we better get on that once we get back home..."
Whilst Oort didn't know anything about energy transfers or by extension of anyone who might be able to give one, he did still have his magic.
Well at least he hoped that he still had his magic because he'd never tried using it more than once before and he'd already used it back at the barracks.
But p'raps...
P'raps it could help a little - at least until someone could find one of those energy transfer people that a couple of people had mentioned.
And so he waited until he had finished taking out and setting down the starseeds - every last one of them - both from his shirt and the ones that he had put into subspace before straightening to look at the white-haired Lady (Cosmos).
As he moved to straighten up he noticed that one of the starseeds from his pile seemed to glimmer slightly brighter the others and his reddish eyes looked it over curiously for a moment before he remembered that he still had to try helping the lady and forced his attention away from it.
"I hope this helps a bit"he told the lady and then he called on his magic "Key Up!" before pointing the key that formed in the direction of the Lady and turning it as in an invisible lock.
A part of him hoped that it would be able to make her stronger for a little bit as it had once done for Horatio as he looked at the Lady with apologetic reddish eyes and said to her quietly"Sorry I can't do more for you."
Quote:
Key Up! Oort calls on his magic while chanting the name of this attack and the magic forms into a small ethereal-looking ornate key. By standing in front of an ally and turning the key as if in an invisible lock Oort can use this this to give an ally either a strength boost or a speed boost (one or the other and he doesn't get to choose which) of about 15%. Alternatively Oort can use it on himself, but he will only get the speed boost. Duration: Oort has 15 seconds to use the 'key' otherwise the key will disappear. The boost will last for 10 seconds once Oort has used the 'key'

Newgrange, Squire of Earth
Newgrange's eyelids were heavy, but he forced them open when he heard a voice. He glanced over to see a Squire that, for a split second, he thought he recognized. His head hurt too much to push through the fog of confusion.
Instead, he just nodded. "Yeah," he replied instinctively. He hadn't intended to draw attention to himself and tried to move so his arm was less visible. He flashed a smile, for good measure, and strained not to wince as he moved his arm.
It hurt, but it wasn't falling off—and right now there were people bleeding, or unconscious, and he didn't feel like he was worth that concern when others needed it more.
Though, right now lopping off his arm sounded like a much preferable outcome if it meant he didn't have to deal with the sharp stinging and painful throbs and heat radiating from his arm—but the idea of losing an arm just sent a wave of dread through him and he chastised himself for even thinking like that.
His eyes flicked back to Falias and he attempted to divert the attention from himself to the other male: "Are you all right?"

Adria, Senshi of Sunsets
Adria nodded to Enif. "I—I have to find Lysithea. I mean, I know she didn't—she's okay," he insisted; he hadn't seen her at the battle and she had left and…she had done what he should have done, because he wasn't a warrior, and jumping into this whole thing had been stupid—and the only reason they were alive was because some other magical lady had whisked them away and…
It was like a fairy tale, but the kind he didn't want to be involved in right now.
He just nodded again and breathed a sigh of relief. "Yeah, I'll be fine. I'm sorry, I must look a mess." He reached up a hand to try and wipe away the blood but just wound up smacking himself in the face awkwardly. "—Ah, I—I mean, I'm fine. I have a headache, but I don't feel dizzy so I think I'm fine. I—" he faltered; he hadn't actually seen what the flying scale had done to his forehead and had to refrain from poking at it. "I think I just want to go home and sleep for a while. I don't…I don't know, this…I got a bunch of starseeds!" he blurted, looking hopeful. "So that's…worth it, I think. She's asking for them?" he asked, nodding towards Cosmos. "…But I…have no idea. Who is she? Is she going to eat them? Is it safe to give them to her?"
Maia smiled when Cosmos gave a small go ahead and pushed energy from herself to Cosmos, hearing the woman say she might die was frightening and made her give a little to much. She felt dizzy and let go, "that as much as I can give I think," she said attempting to shake the brief dizzy spell.
She gave Hugbell a warm smile as the teen shared her energy. It was nice to see the once chibi senshi, was still strong and thriving in this war.
She frowned at the other's and the petty squabbles she felt we're on the rise. She shook her head looking around, some of their allies appeared to be essentially dying.
"I honestly don't think now is the time for arguments. We've certainly done enough of that today," she said strongly thinking of her journey into the barracks.
He brother called to her and she moved away, "I'm going to help tend to the injured. Is there a place on here that might still have supplies that useable, an infirmary of sorts. There are a lot of injured." The statement was to Cosmos, but also really to anyone who may have spent more time there than her. She waited for an answer, but would be quick to move on once she received one. She could minimally clean wounds and bandaging and even small stitching; she was sure that would help. Having a ER brother for a doctor and being made to learn at least the basics from him was a blessing.

Fleur Willis (Cybele)
Fleur winced at the stitches, but with the numbing cream, they weren't too bad, and afterwards she certainty felt less like she was bleeding out. She managed to smile at the medic knight afterwards, even through the whirlwind of emotions. "Thank you," she said, simply, then backed away, giving Elpis and Lacrimosa the space they needed to get looked over.
She went to sit next to the girl who had been Ferris. She recognized the look on her face. It was the look she'd seen on Megrez's face after the fiery warehouse battle, the look she'd seen in the mirror sometimes, when she had bad days, the one she might be wearing right now, now that the battle was over and there was nothing to distract her from the crunch of the general's skull that kept echoing through her mind. Even if it wasn't for the same reasons... it was obvious that she'd seen something. Fleur laid a hand, ever so lightly, on her shoulder. "I know," she whispered. "I know."
”Is everything a Lord of the Rings reference for you?” Sessrumnir asked in a show of forced exasperation. Nevermind that he’d said something earlier that night that probably only someone who knew the lore would pick up on.
He opened his mouth to respond to Remus, but never got the chance. Instead, the other knight, the one from Mars, decided to shout at him for no apparent reason. Sessrumnir’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion, and then he propped himself up from the ground on one elbow to see the face of the man who clearly had no idea what either of them were talking about. If anyone was bitching to b***h…
“You do realize the more people who stay powered up, the less energy others have to exert to get people home, and the less energy she has to use to do the same, right?” He asked, although he didn’t bother to shout it. How his concern for Cosmos’s energy somehow got twisted was beyond him. “Yeah, I do know how much energy it must take, so obviously if everyone held on longer, they could more evenly distribute the remaining energy they have, instead of relying on the few with the most energy left, or on her. Trust me, I’m an engineer,” he added the last bit as an aside to Remus with a small wink.
Somehow Kairatos convinced himself that they were arguing about something completely different, when they were actually concerned about the same thing. Eventually, Sessrumnir shrugged and lowered himself back down to the ground with a pained groan.
“Call me old fashioned, but it’s kinda hard to trust the whole deux ex machina thing. This isn’t the first time we’ve been rescued by a mysterious woman in white. Maybe we would have been able to come out on top had we been left alone,” he speculated, even if he didn’t really believe it. He’d fully expected to die fighting. “We managed to win with some magic praying nonsense on the Surrounding when that was attacked.”
He paused and glanced over to Remus, and held up his hand to count off the things he said as he said them. “‘Is there anyone missing?’ ‘Does anyone need immediate medical attention?’ ‘Are you okay?’” Sessrumnir lowered his hand after the count of three and then repeated what Cosmos said. “‘Whose idea was this?’ ‘You must have had dark magic.’ ‘I thought we were allies.’ Although I’ve certainly never heard or seen her before,” he paused to comment, even though his voice wasn’t as harsh as it could have been.
“Please correct me if I’m wrong, but of all the things she could have said first, she said something that sounded more accusatory than concerned. We already have Caedus’s mysterious motives to deal with. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with her, but I don’t blame anyone for questioning her motives, even if it is really just to save us.”
And then he added, as a reminder, voice raised for Kairatos’s benefit, “Knights can’t get to the moon on their own. They need a senshi… and a full moon.” At least from his experience the last time he was there.

Sailor Encke
As suddenly as she had woken up and started talking to him, the senshi next to him had gotten up and run off to go talk to another bright senshi. They must have known each other.
In some ways, it just reminded him how few he did know in this form. He had become avoidant on purpose, but if he had died, who would have told the ones who mattered most? He would have just vanished without a trace. Was that what was going to happen to so many of those who had fallen within the Negaverse's walls?
It was a sobering thought, and Encke tuned everything out for a moment to lay out his legs and look back at the Earth.
After a moment, he tuned back into the conversation. It seemed quite a few of them had these starseeds and were handing them over to Cosmos. Presumably it was safe to give them to her ... or, at least, he hoped so. He didn't see why it wouldn't be, though, considering she had brought them here and mentioned something about their starseeds screaming. Their starseeds... Encke placed a hand on his own chest.
This was overwhelming.
Caedus was the name of the one who helped them get in? And he was an alien. Well, he supposed he had heard odder things...

Dallol, Squire of Uranus
Other than the lacerations and bruises that Dallol was sporting from her tumble in Negaspace, she was mostly fine compared to the injuries that some of the other senshis and knights had which required immediate first aid and a visit to the nearest hospital as soon as they were able to. Looking Corinth over as well for any injuries, she gave him a small smile and nodded.
"That had to be one of the most unromantic proposals that only you could pull off back there."
He should already know what her answer would be since she wasn't the type of girl who would agree to sleep with just anyone. She held her tongue on that though. This wasn't the kind of place to talk so openly about their own private matters. Slipping her other arm around him, she drew him into a hug and brushed a kiss to his cheek.
"I'm glad that we made it out though. Are you alright?"
