His eyes had dropped half-lidded from amusement, and Chance let out a squawk of indignation.
"Ten bucks my a**," he said. "How about ten in Monopoly money? That's a thing, right?"
He slapped his palm atop Otto's, gave it a firm shake, just to be obnoxious - then promptly leaned up and kissed him square on the mouth.
"I'm afraid I'm too poor for ten bucks," he deadpanned.

"That ain't a thing---hey!" No handshakes! Handshakes make the deal final! He scoffed and was going to tell him off, but his protests were cut off by a rather forward kiss.
"Yeah sure. Poor, my a**. That's why yer cozyin' up to me. All up in my grill to take my millions." Otto huffed, "Goddamn Golddigger."
But, well. The man was handsome as Hell. So he supposed he'd let him get away with it. "You can pay me with yer body." He deadpanned right back.

"Oh, s**t," said Chance in a melodramatic tone, putting the back of one hand to his forehead in mock despair. "You've found me out, however will I deal? I was really just in this for all of your secret stash of cash I know you have hidden in your mattress."
His eyebrows rose at the suggestion, and a grin spread across his face, mischievous and entertained.
"Oh, I see," he said, as he pushed himself up a little, easing himself closer to Otto with his hands pressing down on the couch on either side of him. "I'm just in it for the money, you're just in it for all the free kisses. I see how it is."
Chance tilted his head and pressed another kiss to his lips, this one a little slower, a little sweeter. When he pulled back, his eyes were bright with amusement.
"You're so full of s**t," he whispered.

Otto's eyes softly shut as he indulged in that slow and careful kiss. Kisses like that seemed to slow down time, and soften the edges of the jagged and fast paced flow of time around him. It eased all tensions, and made life seem so simple; that all that existed, all he needed to focus on was himself and Chance. A slow smile grew over his lips, smug and self assured. "I am." He drawled slowly, lifting his arms to drape them lazily over Chance's shoulders. "What of it?" His eyes dared him to answer, while his fingers tapped a steady beat against his shoulder blades.

He liked Otto's sass and snark, liked even when he was annoyed and burrowed under a thousand blankets or throwing snowballs in his face. It was all just part of the facets that made up Otto himself, even with the disgruntled expression he wore half of the time, or the rolling of his eyes whenever he was exasperated.
But he also liked moments like this, when he knew Otto let himself go, even just a little bit; when he stopped thinking quite so hard and let himself relax into the simple, quiet gestures.
"Dunno," said Chance with a melodramatic sigh as he slowly eased himself a little closer, still with his hands on either side of Otto, bracing him against the couch. "I could sue, or something. Defamation of character."
He pressed a kiss to Otto's forehead, then to his cheek, and then another to his lips again, drawing it out.
"But, well," said Chance, a grin touching his lips. "I suppose it works, since I am, in fact, full of s**t too."

"Guess it takes one to know one." Otto murmured while meeting Chance's eyes. Since it seemed Time was still slowed down, he took advantage and appreciated all the little things he usually let slip by without notice. Like how even though Chance's eyes were so dark a colour, they seemed to have a depth so deep they rivalled Deep Space itself. The way they seemed to look at him, and only him. He fell in deeper, wondering what the man was thinking. Wondering how deep inside those eyes that the factories of his mind and heart made up his personality. He thought about all things that made Chance who he was; his fascination with stars, what colours he preferred over others, and why he likes some food but didn't care for others. Silly little things that never seemed relevant in every other time spent together, suddenly seemed so deep and important in these slowed down moments. Otto's hand brushed up to the back of Chance's neck, gently pulling him forward for another slow and soft kiss.

Chance was quiet and still as Otto looked at him, his expression one of soft curiosity, breathing slow, deep and even. The moment stretched out simply, softly, and Chance let it without disturbing it, his eyes tracing the lines of Otto's face, over the sweep of his brow and the angle of his jaw, falling half-lidded in wordless affection.
It was rare that they had moments like these - silent, thoughtful, intense. Breaking the tenderness seemed almost an offense, and so he remained there, letting the deepness of the time pass across them both, the world seeming to come to an easy halt around them.
A soft smile had curved his lips upwards as Otto's fingers found his neck, and Chance allowed himself to be pulled forward easily, eyes falling shut. He eased himself carefully over Otto, one of his own hands rising to cradle the side of his face, a thumb sweeping over his cheek.
