It was a shame (maybe) Horace wasn't feeling up to his normal, half-assholish behavior at the moment. The sentence Micah had just uttered had been a perfect opening for an off-color joke. Instead, he just smiled and held his hand up again.
"Promise I won't do it again. Help me up?"

"Melody Bell," she squeaked cheerfully and gave a spin in the snow. "I actually find it very exhilarating!" and stopped to face the other woman again. " I just can't decide what to do with all this extra energy I have." She looked Nora over curiously, "you are very pretty too by the way!"

"Yes, we're friends! He's my van driver. All that," Diana nodded, stumbling to her feet before reaching out to help Max up. She wasn't sure everyone knew about Delta, but it always seemed to be brought up one way or another. "So what's with all the questions? Are you going to let us out or not?"

"Interesting. Very interesting." Lydia murmured quietly to herself as she continued to rapidly jot down notes, her expression going quite serious for just a moment before she looked up, and then down at those positioned in the hole. "Van driver?" She questioned, with a slow blink, before her face suddenly split into a grin once more when asked if she was going to help them out. "Oh, I'm afraid I can't do that!"

"I make, Best Hot cocoa. Real chocolate, very smooth, very creamy." She puffed more in her puffed self, if that was possible. It was rare for Noemi to show off some pride in something, but here she was, proudly claiming the best hot cocoa in deus.
"What is a Kotatsu?" She tilted her head, "Is that a food? Or a fort, snow house???" Oh gosh, how fun would that be, after a day in snow, they could snuggle-
snuggle..............
Mel actually chuckled a little, trying to soothe the sudden and very red huntress. No amount of cold could try to hide the melting cesspool of Noemi. With all her embarrassing lovey dovey feelings.
Snuggling. She thought and then brushed it away.
"I...I'll go in front! Cause I am poofy! I will make a good cushion." She flexed and then sat down.
SNUGGLING.
Gosh she couldn't even-

"Yeah. Van driver." If she had no help for them, then he had no answers. Unless... Max smiled faintly, feeling far more shrewd than he actually was. "I'm her roadie. Or I used to be. One of them. I drove around the equipment for The Thieves. Diana's band."Rubbing at the back of his head once more, Max glanced around the hole for anything they might use to get out. Spotting the bag of Cheetos half buried in the snow, he picked it up and pulled it open the rest of the way. Beyond the bag popping open a little when they'd landed on it, it felt surprisingly intact. After taking one for himself, he held the bag out to Diana. If they were going to have to climb out, at least they could have a snack first.

"Not sure I believe you," Micah grumbled, but after a moment he took the hand and hauled Horace up out of the snow again. "The hell you had to go and do that for anyway, lying down in the snow just gets you all soaked."

" Because," he said emphatically. "We don't get snow like this where I'm from, ever! You make snow chickens if you can scrape up enough snow, not snow men. I've never had a snowball fight before..." Horace beat at the snow on his jeans, not willing to admit that Micah was right. It was soggy and cold and his teeth were chattering. He looked around. "Uh, do you see any gloves any- ugh." His face fell. Horace had almost managed to forget that Lawr and Melvin were busy being cuddle bunnies. Almost. But his eyes had alit on them once again in his haphazard glove-searching. Swallowing, he dragged his eyes away and tacked on a faint smile before looking at the ground as if the gloves would magically appear. Bringing his hands to his lips, he blew warm air across his fingers.

"Yeah, well, if you wanna roll around in the snow you need to wrap up right, none of this jeans and a jacket s**t," Micah scolded, crossing his arms over his chest and glaring. "Where'd you lose your gloves at, when you fell over or something? They're probably in the snowdrift."

"Didn't have anythin' warmer. This is my only shirt with sleeves, even." He picked at the sleeve, frowning. It felt constricting and, in one of her few talkative phases, Jannisari had informed him that if he summoned, she would rip right through the material. He frowned pushed at Micah's shoulder. "Stop glaring, meatball. I took them off to text people and lost them then, I guess. Maybe... My hands are cold." Those gloves weren't even his. He wondered how mad the quartermaster would be if they never made their back.

"Oh my god, you're gonna catch a ********' cold," Micah said, his glare intensifying. He glanced around to see if he could spot the gloves, saw nothing visibly glovelike anywhere nearby, and shrugged. "They'll turn up when it melts," he informed Horace, unfolded his arms, grabbed Horace's sleeve, and started hauling him back toward the dorm building. "Come on, dumbass."

Horace let out a startled yelp as he was grabbed. "But, but the snow!" But still he let himself be dragged, mustering up the courage to give Lawr a little wave before he was out of sight.
"You gonna drag me the whole way?" he grumped.

Chris looked surprised, leaning to let Shu drape the scarf around his neck. He touched it with a blink, "Thanks.." He seemed caught completely off guard like gifts were foreign concepts to him. Dawson mentioning cocoa had him looking even further surprised, "Cocoa? Are we allowed to just go inside when we want?" Especially since he'd been impromptu told to shovel. He seemed unsure of the rules, unsure if there were any at all, and seemed to need things dictated to him very plainly or he wouldn't take his own freedoms with anything. "I didn't think they just.. gave out free things around here."

Shu didn't quite catch Chris's surprise but gave him a smile, though she was usually observing people. The strange phrase of Satan's dander baffled her. Since she was in kindergarten, she had been learning English. Yet, the fact she wasn't a native speaker made her create jokes and put her in confusion sometimes. Before she could reply to Dawson, another guy seemed to find the idea questionable. "A HOT COCOA sounds too great," she leaned close to Chris after nodded enthusiastically. "Taking a break's fine, they don't want us to be worn out and no one doing the duties coming. Leave work to those who's more suitable is more efficient, for example, my weapon is a hammer and not related to fire element, so I'm quite useless here." Shu explained and told the serious man to ease up, he seemed to be new and she knew it's not a healthy thing if he builds up stress that easily. "Things need to be done, and they're finding who volunteers and follows the order, it shall not be mandatory, don't worry and give yourself some rests." She smiled innocently but said something with a "I know this" tone. Shu had her frisky eyes rolling and added, "Hmm, as for free foods, you might need to be careful, it could be the some life hunters finding victims as specimens for testing." Shortly, she realized she hadn't given Dawson an answer for his suggestion. "I haven't built a snowman before and this's only the second time I see snow. My family promised me to bring me to somewhere snow and play with me, but they never did. So -" She paused and looked up at them. "- If the two gentlemen here can built a snowman with me before we get in and have warmth and cocoa, that would be great!" She should be beseeching but she wasn't forceful about it, just her sparkly eyes might tell how much she wanted it. They're saying "Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee?"
