FLIPPIN HEY! It'd gotten colder as of late, and the kin had been gathering. Free and her 'herd' had wandered into one particularly colorful gathering and quite quickly dispersed into the crowd. She'd been drawn to one booth in particular. There was a rather loud acha with her horns on backwards shouting to call over folks, and, though she was a tiiiiny bit intimidating, Free found herself turning her hooves towards the voice and moving closer. The game seemed simple enough. Pick a shell, flip it, get a prize. Everyone won- but some prizes didn't really appear worth it, particularly a collection of bird shell bits. Granted, they were a pretty shade of blue, but still... After watching a couple other contestants approach and 'win' various items- a couple plants here, a fish a little too ripe, a sapling cutting there- she timidly put a hoof out and tapped a shell- five down, first one. She stepped back as it was flipped over, and then smiled a little as a small bit of berries and one token was revealed. She stepped forward, dipping her head down, and took the berries and the token, straightening and peering around before tucking the token into her stole and eating the berries. Free did pause as the restocker stepped forward, and she offered the darkly-colored buck a tiny smile, and a couple of the berries. "This was quite fun, thank you. I think I'll be back tomorrow. My name is Flowing Freely... A pleasure to meet you," she murmured, quietly turning around to leave. He seemed almost demure, and shy, like her, but his markings made him look like he was smiling. Peculiar. As she meandered back into the press of other Kin, Free committed to memory the location, and thought she'd make it a point to come back and visit a while after she played the game. While thinking, somebody sidled up to her, leaned over, and said, quite loudly, "BOO!" She startled a bit, and flomped onto her side, squishing the few berries she'd had left. She snapped her head around, and simply stared hard at Haunting Smirk, a wide grin making his face marks seem wider still as he tossed back his head and laughed at her. "Oh, man, Free, baby, you should've seen your face! You alright? Come on, let's get you back on your hooves," he snickered, and then leaned over to help nose her back up. She grumbled a little, and then tipped her head to bonk him affectionately. "You ought not scare people so, Haunt... There's a game over there if you're looking for something to do," she chided, and then tilted her face towards the place she'd just come from. "Thanks, doll. You, uh, got a little... thing... on your fur there. Blood? Nah, berry juice, right? Geez, you startle so darn easy..." Haunt muttered, leaning lover and licking the stole just to make sure. Free grumbled a little, and then nudged him away. "Alright, alright, fiiiine. I'll go play. Have some fun, loosen up... talk to people! You might like 'em!" Free rolled her eyes as he sauntered off, and then melted back into the crowd once more.

FLIPPIN HEY! Land Shark was ecstatic about this whole gig. Games and prizes and tons of kin, this was her kind of fun! Especially the tricks, oh my! She nearly fell over when some poor unfortunate kin flipped over their shell only to find a badly rotten carcass. Oh what fun! And so the curious little fish-kin squirmed her way over to a shell of her own. She knelt, with her tail in the air, wiggling as she pawed at the shell. Her gills flapped, making an odd slapping sound. And then. She flipped it, jumping out of the way in case it were a trap! ...Nope, no trap. Not even a trick! She took the two tokens she'd found and wandered off feeling a little disappointed.

FLIPPIN HEY! Watermelon decided the shells could be fun, you never know what to expect. Choosing one at random she flips it over.
Underneath is a pretty stone, almost perfectly matching her colors, the pinks and greens swirling together to make a nice shade of brownish. "I can really keep this? For free?" she asks the buck, a hint of uncertainty in her tone.

FLIPPIN HEY! Another day, another shell to flip. Dare Me was not going to let the shells get the best of him! This time, rather than reaching for the middle of the board, he went to the bottom. The last place, some might think, to look for treasure. Well, no, all right, not the last. Somewhere in the middle. The last seemed too obvious. So he flipped a middle shell and revealed a token. A victory he would gladly take!

FLIPPIN HEY! Desire was eager to return to the shell booth after yesterday's win, and she hoped to start a streak. After waiting her turn she surveyed the options with slightly squinted eyes, humming softly. "This one!" She carefully flipped the shell over, her heart jumping in anticipation. A token! The striped doe quickly deposited it in her pouch and thanked the purple buck just like yesterday, trotting away happily.

FLIPPIN HEY!
Another day, another try. Streams of Silver watched the shells move, carefully tracking the movements before making her guess. She came out with a single token... and another grub. Well, Streams of Silver definitely wasn't complaining, moving to snap up the little snack before nodding her thanks to the booth proprietor. After that, the doe took her token and went.

FLIPPIN HEY!
Sneaking in, as per usual, was The Draw, coming back to try his luck again on such a simple game. He wasn't sure why it was so addictive, only that it really was fun to play.
Alas.
Going to flip over a new shell today, he was awarded with one ticket, that made him jump up a little in surprise - he had secretly expected none again today. (He may have been a little pessimistic by nature.)

FLIPPIN HEY! Spectral smirked and eyed the various half lids on the ground. Oh, now THIS was something he liked. Very much so. He pointed to one and to his surprise, it yielded a nice berry and two shiny stones! Happily, he took his prize and left.

FLIPPIN HEY! There was a big prize waiting. Evolve was sure of it. It lurked somewhere beneath the shells and she was determined to work out exactly which one it was. However when she made her choice, there was only one token and she left once more, vowing to return a victor. +1 token!

FLIPPIN HEY! After a delicious, if slightly crunchy, egg breakfast, Free made her way back down to the Flip booth, humming slightly and settling in on her haunches as she studied the shells. She smiled faintly at Negative in the corner right up until Can You popped into view, demanding she pick something and hurry up. Hurriedly, she rose, stumbled a little, and tapped a shell with a hoof. She flipped it up, and grinned proudly when she found not one, but two loverly tokens. She picked them up, and tucked them into her stole with the other, and sauntered off to the next game. Perhaps she'd go find that pool that Path had mentioned...

FLIPPIN HEY! 19 December She is baaaack. Kiss made her way to the shells booth once more and looked down and around wondering which one she wants to flip over with her hoof today. Today was not the time to scoop up a mouthful of dirt again. Having sand stuck in your mouth is gross. She did not like it. It made her meals all grainy and crunchy. "Hmmm, that one looks interesting," she spoke and picked at the strange shell on the left side, prodding it and nudging it until it flipped over. Under it she finds.. Oooh TWO tokens! Not bad. Not bad. But yesterday's luck was definitely a lot better. The doe smiled and politely took her winnings before walking away again. She needed to come back. This game was simple and addicting to play.

FLIPPIN HEY! Sings caught sight of the dancing laughing acha, the serious buck, a game of chance! Grinning as he watched some walk away with great prizes..and others, not so much. Sings loved games of chance though. Sauntering up to the booth and grinning brightly at the Acha running it "Truly the real prize here is you my dear, anything else I could win would be lesser by far." Sings flirted shamelessly, stepping up to try his luck. Sings made his choice, flipped his shell, "ACH! " and was rewarded with stink flowers for his poor choice. The buck quickly backing away from the pungent putrid smelling things. "If you think this will deter me!" Sings sneezed, trying to get the smell out of his nose. "Y-you-hack-you're wrong!" Sings smiled through watering eyes, and vowed to come back tomorrow.
