jester was looking at the board on his wall that had several posted requests for assassination, he had gathered them in the last few days and was think about which to take. Jester with lack of a better option decided to pick at random by putting a blind fold on and throwing a card and taking the job it hit. with the cloth in place jester lets the card fly with a thud it hit home, removing the blind fold he looked at the board the card had hit one of the jobs dead in the middle. Smiling jester walked up and pulled down the job, it was a simple job that he could handle in a few days. with a evil grin on his face jester moved to his wardrobe and pulled out a black cloak and layed it out on his bed. closing the wardrobe e moved to the desk and opened one of the draws and pulled out a small pouch of gold that would last him one week. He moved to the bed and dawned the cloak and prepared his bag and left his room and began his decent down the tree, making his way to the store the cats had opened at the bottom of the tree.

Jason was up before dawn and with the sun rising he moved to the small kitchen he had in his room and began to prepare breakfast it was only a light meal but it would do. Jason was planing to head into the near by town and and get supplies he would need for the quests he planed to take in the next few days. with breakfast down he put on his armor and and left his room to head out.

Nigel was sitting on the counter of the shop having woken up not to long ago, he pulled up a clip bored and was taking stock when Jester came in and asked for a few poisons pulling out the requests and handing them over jester handed over the price and was on his way. Nigel having finished inventory headed down to the forge and got to today's tasks.

Veg

Veg smiled at spitfires remarks and watched as raven went and selected a quest taking note of what she said she needed it was then that the MD entered and asked to speak business with him which gave him an idea so giving his wife a warm smile he stood "I have time though I would like to peak in on Robin so why don't we walk and talk?". He gave the man a smile then offered him a glass of the juice from his stamina fruits before making his way out of the man hall then and only then did he speak again. "So what do you need?" he spoke calmly and warmly as he walked at a leisurly pace to the nursery and upon peaking in saw Theo laying contently on the windowsill keeping an eye on his daughter just like he had agreed to do though the fish was nowhere to be seen. It was then that Galvin caught up to them and spoke to the MD about something as well and veg waited patiently now curious about what was going on.

Jacob Marris, the Fallen Paladin

The constant train of wagons arriving and departing the village wasn't anything new. A healthy economy thrived on the trade of goods. It was the life blood of kingdoms that flowed upon the dusty roads and along the waterways. Of the handful of wagons that had arrived that day only one was remotely noteworthy. In addition to the traditional cargo of grain, corn, and livestock the driver had also brought in a traveler. The man didn't speak much, just a few words here and there when appropriate. Kept his nose stuck in leather bound book that was barely holding together the entire trip.The old farmer would have gladly pried into the man's business if it weren't for the broadsword on the stranger's hip, or the glint of tarnished steel that occasionally peaked out from under the man's threadbare cloak. Only thing the farmer ever got out of the man was his destination, south.

South was the only place Jacob had asked farmer to go before pressing a few coins into his palm. There wasn't anywhere particular that Jacob needed to go, only places that he needed to get away from. A shame that the farmer only took him half a day's ride south for what he was paid. "This is as far as I can take you stranger." The farmer was all too eager to see Jacob get off of his wagon. "Grace of Tylia be with you." A blessing that no longer held any merit. Once Jacob called upon the power of the heavens to smite the wicked, and protect the innocent. That however seemed like a life time ago. Having fallen so far from grace the gods turned their back on their wayward son, just as he had turned his back on them in his darkest moment. There isn't much use for a paladin that doesn't pray anymore because the gods stopped listening in the order. So here he was never welcome to stay in one spot for too long and with no where to go. Jacob drifted from one place to the next making a living with his sword and ministering to the spiritual needs of those who asked. The words were empty, the actions meaningless, but if they believed that the words of sinner could help them find salvation Jacob wasn't going to turn them away. Soon as the wagon rolled away Jacob headed for the nearest inn.

Veg

A small smile spread over Veg face and it was ovbious just from looking at him that the gears were already running at high speed even as he looked back at the MD with an expression the betrayed none of the inner workings of his mind "Well then I think we can come to a simple agreement. Raven just took her first job in eleven months and it calls for a healer, I want you to tag along and keep her safe and for doing so I see no reason why I cant sign off on you getting some shell" he gave the man a gentle yet knowing grin then turning to Galvin he took in the rather faint appearance of the man. "Galvin are you alright?" rather worried Veg reached into a small pouch on his hip and drew out a small yellow pill which he offered to the man hoping all that was wrong was a lack of stamina at this point.
