Aselia Post 6 The mystic took in a deep breath as she saw the glint of various other weapons all around her come to life. Frowning Aselia didn't like the fact she was being called gullible. But then again anyone could be called such when given information they sought desperately for. Her gaze flicked back to Talin as he spoke. "I don't want Jauhar Crystal Crawler. I've only come for the Suruhama." Lifting a finger she pointed to one of her more visible markings. "Something about it courses in my blood. And while I think Sauti is pretty I don't care either way about it. My interest is singular. Besides I'm surprised you even know what a mystic is worm, or are you just relying on the atmosphere and whispered gossip? That is where the lack of intelligence lies." Aselia sneered her eyes reverting back to the strange fish but her ears caught someone else speaking up. Looking past the fish towards the ugliest crystal crawler yet Aselia found the voice of Ruelash. "That's right I did." She spoke mockingly. "Got a problem with that Crystal Crawler? I'm surprised a frozen ingrate like yourself can even stand in this heat." Aselia moved to take a step forward. Challengingly towards the earthlings. Aselia wasn't alone, she had Neibet beside her on her right. Another powerful amazon to her left. Two more behind her and the few that were out searching the mountainous region in search of the Suruhama. Antenna twitched as she sensed the agitated motions of several people around them. "Does it really matter if there are more nearby or not?" Aselia made a mocking motion towards Dovev before waving her hand to shoo him off. Seriously why wasn't this smelly fish leaving her alone? It was like a persistent pest that insisted on being fed. "Leave me be fish." The sound of something whizzing through the air drove the Mystics attention upward. Hanging in the tree was the crystal crawler she had noticed earlier but she was too late to react. The very tip of an arrow skimmed across the skin on her thigh. And Aselia was hard pressed not to let out a yelp of pain. Internalizing the sensations as she growled lower. Popoie who had been floating about above with a few other familiars like her let out a screech of rage. Someone had struck her owner! Another series of screeches let out in a rhythmic pattern. Taking off in the direction towards Jauhar. Lirende No one else is seeming to be confrontational enough

Ime- post 4
"Thorn!" Ime huffed in annoyance and stumbled she she was pulled. "Thorn, I can protect myself." The young Leaf man seemed to be panicking just a bit. Yes, it was a bit frightening to have Alkidike moving in so near, especially a mystic, at this time but the crowd was so great in size against their small numbers, what was there to fear? She would like to stay near, just in case someone sustained serious energy. Thorn seemed determined to get her out of the way, though, so she followed and then stepped aside. "You forget I've experienced war before, I think." She was a little annoyed with him, but annoyance was nothing compared to her sudden adrenaline rush and necessary vigilance. This could go very badly very quickly.

Ai'iandaroch Post 4 Ai'ian peered curiously at the happenings around the mystic, it was odd seeing any alk that wasn't his own mother, he came from a puny town and this was not impressed with them at all. Was this really what his other half was like? Combine that with some of the snooty icelings he knew and he was not overly enamored of his heritage but it was what he made of it that mattered not what crazy pure alks did. "Is that iceman someone you know?" Ai asked curously, "He looks like he is going to get something done and I can't blame him one bit what with that crazy lady practically spitting in our faces, does she think she is invincible or what?"

mewmew kittykat94 i'm sorry i was so slow... Myrida Post 2Myrida still hung on the male, eyes narrowing at the alk. What in the world? So this was what her Father wanted her and the other kids to get away from. Not impressive and sure as heck something she wanted to get as far away from as she could. Her slim arms tightened around Ai's neck just a bit before she answered her new friend. "I was having fun...until all this. C-can we move a little further away. I don't like the sound of things here." She looked around for her Father or any of the other bandits she knew. Keeping close to Ai, the male would see her worry crease her delicate features. Her hold on his neck loosened a bit.

Chimelu Post FourChimelu was completely oblivious to how hilarious this may seem to anyone else, especially Eira as he just stared at Gyuri. Oh yes, he would certainly keep anyone from coming in. Well, anyone wanting to cause harm anyways. "I guess that would be helpful." Chimelu said hesitantly. As they came closer to the front door where the giant man was standing at Chimelu made sure that Eira was between him and Gyuri. Was it his most manly moment ever? Absolutely not. Was he too concerned about it? No. Eira clearly had more faith that Gyuri wouldn't kill him but he still wanted to keep some distance. At least until he knew for certain. "Sweet?" Chimelu asked curiously. He didn't know he was being sweet or anything but himself but if that was the key he would keep doing it.
Gyuri talked to him. He talked to him. Oh gods. "Keep your cool. Deep breath." He thought to himself. It took a couple of tries of moving his mouth before words actually came out. "N--N--N--N--N-No. I--I j--j--just know they are trying to come here. I--I--I-- d--don't know why." He gulped, closing his eyes for a brief second. He needed to calm down. It was just a conversation. He could do this. "Y--You?"

Araie Post 5There was a lot that Araie wanted to say and do. It had been awhile since she'd seen Dezani and all she wanted to do was slip away from all the commotion of the crowd to somewhere private. She wanted to talk to him and catch up with him and pick up their friendship exactly where it had left off, but she knew now wasn't the time for it. There were more important things going on, even if she hated to admit it. "As much as I would love to drop everything and talk to you for hours, I don't think that's really possible right now. There's too much going on that's too important. But maybe later we can find somewhere quiet to talk?" Araie smiled as she moved to stand next to Dezani. She enjoyed being close to him and this position gave her a decent view of what was happening with the Alkidikes. Win win.

Dezani Post 6"You're right of course," he nodded, smiling at her as she moved closer to him. The Alkidike seemed to be arguing and insulting more than anything. Odd considering one of them was a young mystic. He thought they were trained to be calm and thoughtful, though with how hostile the other Alkidike were being he wasn't so sure anymore. While his biggest concern now was on Araie, there was still the concern of protecting Sauti and the Alkidike trying to find this fire bird or whatever it was. "Do you know anything about this bird they're talking about? This is the first time I've heard of it," Dezani leaned close to mutter to her. Zumei Post 5"Of course," Zumei agreed, turning to watch the events unfold. She worried that there would be a fight soon if one of the parties didn't calm down, but getting involved to try and stop the insult throwing wasn't a very good plan either. She also didn't understand why the mystic wanted to see Suruhama. Did she have some plan for the great bird? That thought alone concerned her enough to voice her worries on the matter. Hopefully Eije would have more insight on the matter, or at least be able to calm her nerves. She was probably just overreacting after all. "Do you think the mystic is trying to take Suruhama for her people? Maybe she plans on trying to use her to get what she wants," Zumei leaned in to mutter to Eije, eyeing the Alkidike as she spoke.

Yithiron Post 5 Thorn looked at her sheepishly, "Oh right yes you did, I just know how bad a mob can get, it, they scare me, and that crazy one is going the right way for a big one, and I just want to be able to protect you and me if that were to happen, I'm big but I'm no match for a frenzied mob." He held up his relatively small dagger as evidence. "One big man, one itty bitty knife." He smiled, but it was a small one. What he wouldn't give to be in the stable with her and the two familiars at her mother's place. He himself fine, he could use stealth and scale things until he was safe or fight in melee. But his heart was cracking at the thought of Ime vs. Mob, if she were hurt well he wasn't sure what he would do. She was the healer and she was his, she could help so many people but if she was hurt then her powers might be weakened and then what help would she be. Conflicted leafman was conflicted.

Sezara post 5 The waterling had a point. Seze realized the mystic was quite deranged and not in the good way. Rue was priming for a full blown attack or so it looked. Seze was mad, madder then normal, but she hesitated with Direk beside her, did the aldabuck need her? Did she have enough guts to fight beside Ruelash? Could she defend herself properly yet? She wasn't ready to find out yet but she called Thorvin over to her and mounted up, one hand still on Direk, the aldabuck could help Rue, no matter what she chose she would need the advantage of Thorvin's speed, Rein was safer but using her would hurt more people so she lurked nearby ready to spring to her mistresses defense with tooth and tail and claw. Now was the waiting game, she watched avidly for changes in current and escalation.

Eira Post 4Eira glanced toward Gyuri for a moment before she set to giggling a bit, unable to help it, "Oh my, you're too adorable, Chimelu!" She said, clapping her hands together before she looked at Gyuri, "I think that we should most definitely keep him." She said that in a joking manner, not wanting for the boy to think that she actually meant to keep him no matter how adorable he was. She just couldn't resist talking about wanting to keep him when he was so stuttery and cute, the sort of boy that she liked flirting with. A shame that it was Gyuri that got him into such a state. "So no extra news, huh? That's a shame. So long as they stay at bay though then they can go about their exploration of Sauti I guess. I am all well and fine with them looking around but not where my land is concerned." She said before looking at Gyuri, "If you happen to spot one of them I would like to try to chat with her, if only to get a feel for what it is that they think their doing in Sauti." Gyuri Post 4Gyuri starred at the boy through his mismatched eyes, taking in the rather jumbled words he was saying, able to get the gist of it. He gave Eira a glance, "Eira." He murmured, not wanting Eira to go scarring Chimelu by making it seem as though they were going to steal him away or something. Sure, he was welcome to stay, to even join the troupe, but Eira most definitely didn't need to keep him in any other sense just because he was acting cutely. Gyuri looked back at Chimelu again before he said simply in reply to his stuttering, "I see." So he didn't know anything that was going on? At least he didn't know anything that they didn't know already. A shame, he was hoping that maybe Chimelu might know something that could help them out. As Eira told him that she wanted to chat with one of the Alkidike his eyes went a little wide. Wait, she wanted to what? He thought about it for a moment but realized that it would only end badly. Why was it that he feared Eira would end up in a cat fight with the Alkidike? Better that they didn't find one of them for Eira to talk with Gyuri thought to himself. Last thing that he wanted was for her to help in starting a war because she got into an arguement with the invading forces.

Araie Post 6"I have no idea what they're talking about. But if that mystic insists in continuing to insult my people, we are going to have some issues," Araie growled as she reached down to play with the runes that rested in her pouch. She didn't like the Alkidike and she really didn't like the mystic that had shown up here. She wasn't going to start any fights. She still didn't want any unnecessary violence. But, gods forgive her, she would finish any fights that arose. Forcing herself to calm down and breathe, she slipped her hand into Dezani's and squeezed his hand gently. She needed to calm down and not overreact. What everybody needed right now was peace, not anger and rash decisions.

Eije Post 6
Things were getting out of hand and a fight seemed like it was on the verge of breaking out. She wasn’t the first to grab at a weapon, nor would she be the last, especially if there were taunts being thrown by the mystic.“We might have to get out of here soon,” or at least move to a distance... Eije preferred the distance option, but she wasn't quite sure if her companion would feel the same.
“I don’t know what she or the Alkidikes would do with Suruhama. Maybe it’s for leverage? Something to barter with if we do go to war?” Her voice was low, eyes moving along the crowd. Suruhama was important enough to have a festival in her honor. The bird wouldn’t have meaning to the alkidike, but in their hands… some people might end up bending to their will. But something didn't make sense. Why would a mystic have a part of the sacred bird in her blood if they were all born on their islands? She couldn’t have been born in Sauti. There were too many questions running through Eije’s head. She took a soft intake of breath when something flew at the mystic and a cut appeared. That couldn’t be good.

Jawaad Post 5 Jawaad nodded at her friend's question, a smile escaping at the nickname, “Yes, I do. He’s my brother.” Though the similarities weren’t all that apparent in their features, he was still her little brother. She was surprised at the positive reaction to his actions though, it was quite new. “It’s one of his strong suits.”
She almost let out a sigh of relief that the first strike hadn’t come from Ruelash. Bergchi was looking out for her sanity! “She seems to think it, though it doesn’t look like it.” From their distance, it looked as though blood was beginning to well up from the slice and she found herself slightly curious. Noting Myrida’s concern, Jawaad gave a small nod, “I don’t mind putting some distance between us, but not too far?” She still protective of him, and wanted to be sure that her brother didn’t get too hurt if chaos erupted.

Ime- post 5
"We'll be alright, Thorn," Ime reassured him, forcing a smile. Of course they would have to run if an angry mob formed, but at the moment everything seemed teetering on the edge of 'just fine.' She'd come back to help the wounded, of course, but she wasn't about to light an entire group of people on fire or hide behind her love and force him to take the full brunt. A good Wall might help.
"We'll keep each other safe." Now, or in battle.

"What happened where did the blood come from and how did I miss it? He had glanced away for just a moment over top of his shifter barnacle to see about backing up. "That shifter your brother is with might help him looks like she has heavy familiar backup. Hmm lets move over there to that alcove, its more sheltered from the press but still close enough that you or I could reach him if we needed to." Aiian post 5* edit counted wrong
