Last arrow. Last shot. She kissed the arrow's broad head as she set it to the long bow, drawing the string of the 5 foot bow to her ear, her eyes locked still on her target. She heavy draw felt right to her and she exhaled as she let the arrow fly.
She was not sure if Lady Woe truly was a weapon that had belonged to Merlin, but if she was or not, she now belonged to one that would die rather than see him win. Caoin looked at the others around her rather than tracing the arrows path. These were her family and friends now, and they were in the right.
"We WILL win. I know it."

Lass barely took a breath of air before she lunged forward again, the blade singing in the air as she struck against the shadow beast of Merlin. The blade sinking in almost like a satisfying shot of hitting the bull eye on a target. True she had paid little attention to those opposing the Great King, instead she kept her focus on Merlin, and if he crumpled first his minions would follow. Yes, as long as she hit her opponent there was no worry, no reason to falter.
Still it was somewhat off putting seeing how un human he looked, or was he ever really even human to start with? Just the thought of thinking he was made her skin crawl, as the weapon in her hand almost seemed to hum to some agreement with her. She was sure it was probably nothing more than a trick of her mind; an illusion like Morgan had been that he was human. It was a shame however, for someone so well trusted to just easily turn away from them but such was the fate of power.
Lass had wanted power, but not corrupted power, true power and power gained by her fierceness in battle.

Power, true power, the sword in her hand seemed to hum even louder the thought of the word yes this is what is needed echoed into her mind. No she would never become like Merlin, giving in to the easiest way, to corrupt people who trusted him, needed him, to turn an entire land into shadows just because he wanted something he couldn’t obtain himself. Oh no, she would never allow herself to become like him at any point not now and not ever. Never would she want to be some puppet for someone again, to be toyed and made to kill on the spot so unwillingly.
She dodged a swipe of someone’s loose blade before turning the pointed edge at Merlin’s body; he struggle to fight all those opposed him off. Raising the sword high she brought it down heavy as if it was a two handed sword to trying to cleave a body in half. It would all be over soon right, they would win, everything would be put right and maybe she could obtain her dream of becoming a Great Knight at some point.
The sword seemed to hum again as if delighted by such an prospect in its life. HP: 50/50 DMG: 3

DAMAGE DONE TO MERLIN - 250
As soon as he was through the door, Arrakis took in what was happening and moved as quickly as he could to assist the Great King. His eyes narrowed at what he could see of Merlin, trying to take it all in. He didn't give himself too much time to do that, however, knowing there wasn't too much time to be had in general. He had to move quickly, and move quickly he did.
Arrakis was relieved when he drew Hadyn that she was not a cold, lifeless piece of metal. She responded to him, was part of him, even as the strongest feeling he got from her was that she was with him--for better or for worse--through the rest of this. There was a note of sorrow within him that she seemed so muted, but that was something else he didn't have much time to contemplate.
There was so little left, but he wasn't going to stand by and watch it disappear further. Ignoring for now the swirling memories coming back to him, he went for Merlin and the shadows surrounding him.

DAMAGE DONE TO MERLIN - 255
Perhaps it was a reflection of his new-found steadiness and conviction that his first strike as as strong as it was. Arrakis couldn't help but be faintly pleased. Of course, only one strike wasn't going to do much damage. He had to go for it again. He twisted to keep out of the way of the weapons and everything else being jabbed his way by the shadows, doing his best to stay focused on what he needed to do. Maybe if they defeated Merlin, everything would go back to normal. No one would have to endure what he and so many others had endured. That was worth giving his all, and Arrakis looped back in for a second swing.

All the memories, things he had forgotten reason of why he was there all of it he started to remember. A knight, he had always been a knight promising to fight and protect those who could not protect themselves. He would do whatever he could to defend the Great King, anything he could to stop the terror that Merlin had released out into Camelot all of it. Defend and protect, those were the mottos he should have remembered but fear had easily taken hold and he was sure if he had not tried he would have forgotten it all. The claymore in his hands hummed, almost as if it was speaking the words protect, we must protect go protect, defeat.
It wasn’t hard to distinguish Merlin, the swirling black shadow giving his visage anything but human look. Maybe he had really never been human at all, no probably not Matt thought as he lifted the claymore and swung with a heavy hit at Merlin. Others were all attacking and despite his size Matt was sure it would be hard to defend him to keep all of them away from him. Soon he would fall.

More and more knights appeared more and more fought against Merlin, there were others there. Creatures of shadow, creatures that Matt was reassured where likely knights that he had fought with who had turned to the side of Merlin all for what? Merlin was a traitor to them all, he had tricked all of them led them down a path and worse of all made them kill an innocent knight. There was nothing redeeming about the creature, the thought of even calling him human was bitter in his mind, no human would turn on the rest of the world. No he was worse than the Queen, which in all honesty was probably the lowest of the low when it came down to it.
The claymore still hummed, it was excited in some way to hear the voices of battle the ongoing opposition to the black shadow creature that stalked the room. Matt gripped the hilt tighter and moved around more towards a blind spot before swinging low near Merlin’s knees. The claymore hit with a thud against him before Matt pulled it back dodging whatever Merlin’s return attack would be. There was a thought if such a creature could feel it. HP: 50/50 DMG: 3

So far he had done well to avoid Merlin’s return attacks, but there was some doubt lingering in his mind that defeating him would be so easy there must be something else something lurking. Not that he had fear in opposing it no, he would fight he would always continue to fight when he needed to and to protect those who needed it. It was more or less a concern, there was also the thought what would they do with Camelot, would the shadow creatures merely just leave or disappear like Merlin or would they have to battle them all too. The claymore shook as if all these questions were unnecessary as if such thoughts were not needed at such a time. Matt shook his head, it was right no he had to think only of the problem at hand and how they were going to dispose of the current problem.
Wrapping the claymore with both hands he aimed towards the beast shoulder, taking much more feat in trying to actually hit something higher with such a heavy weapon. It wasn’t very swift nor did have a lot of his own power behind it but it was at least heavy enough to cause a bruise or throw him off balance some.

Estel backed off to survey the knights who had come through the door. The survivors... those still sane. To her relief, she saw quite a lot of her friends. And there was Chel, still standing. Estel moved to her side, smiling. "You're all right! I'm glad." It was completely sincere - the last time Estel had seen her, she had been very heavily injured.

"Really? It annoys the ******** outta me," she said in true contrary fashion. "Pisses me off knowin' I'm happy somewhere else. I'm gonna be happy here."
Not that it mattered much.
Chel watched Jack open and close his eyes, wondering what the cause was. Perhaps he was trying to block the Merlin fight out? She couldn't blame him for that.
Estel approached and Chel put a finger to her mouth in jest. There wasn't anything Estel could get out of her. "The same t'you," she said shortly to Estel. "Jack did a good job on me and Chris. Dunno if Chris made it." A lie. It didn't matter. "The others?"
Chel didn't actually care. She feigned interest for the sake of a disguise.

DAMAGE DONE TO MERLIN - 288
His third strike nearly went wide and ended up as only a glancing blow, making Arrakis say something aloud that was particularly unkind. It was then he remembered something else important. He'd seen Merlin as an imminent threat and hadn't given anything else much thought when he came through the door, acting immediately. On top of that, he was just now feeling steady about the rush of memories that had overtaken him at and after the door. But he wasn't just a knight. He had another duty, and he needed to uphold it.
Hoping there were still enough of them left, "Blues, remember! We are the defensive force! Defend your fellow knights as long as you are able!"

"Hey I was born ready." Micheal gave him a small thumbs up before turning and redrawing his blade. It was time to fight.
Micheal jumped one more into the fray with a battle cry that sounded more like a roar.
