Shun closed his eyes, listening to TK and muttering a few things under his breath.
They were still missing some words, then. He looked around, trying to see what they had not yet scoured. It seemed like most things were being accounted for. After a bit of thought. he attempted to go back up the stairs. However, he moved up the steps backwards.
Maybe that would thwart whatever magic was... enchanting it. Or whatever.

Kneeling next to Zar, Wilson looked up at Mildred and his face immediately flushed red with guilt and embarrassment. "No, I-I didn't mean to...!" The words stumbled out of his mouth. "I-I didn't mean to b-bb-break it, I t-tried to carefu lbe...!" The knight started tripping over his own words, and he switched to just continuously apologizing profusely to the once-astronomer with a bowed head.

He just stood back and watched as people began crawling around the bottom of the table, and fighting on the top. His arms were crossed close to his body, and expression inscrutable as usual thanks to the mask.
"If Mordred was Morgan...a's.... brother...." Szczeosny was slowly musing to anyone who wasn't already preoccupied searching for pieces of paper, "Does that mean he's..."
Much like the prophecy, there were a number of unsettling ways to fill in the blank.
he attempted to go back up the stairs. However, he moved up the steps backwards.
He looked really silly doing this but at least he got a great view of the top of the bookshelf. It seems someone had hidden a scrunched up wad of paper there.

Someone had been following her up the stairs. Well, not following her, but it was an utter relief when they paused. Hollandaise continued to climb, hand on the railing. It was almost cathartic, she thought, that the stair did not seem to end. As she calmed, she began to hum creakily, some childhood tune about the Great King.

continued to climb,
Something seemed to watch her from the shadows, but it was probably her imagination.
Despite Mildred's best efforts to remain unnoticed, Robert did not get the hint. In fact, he didn't know what not being noticed even was, as being noticed seemed quite high priority for a glorious lifestyle such as his. So when he wrapped both of his arms around Mildred's waist, he was huffing out loud barks such as "PARDON US" or "PLEASE MAKE WAY" which were all quite counterproductive to her efforts, or so it should have been. In fact, Robert was all but ignored, because his attitude wasn't uncommon among arrogant knights, and most had no time to worry about a loud voice booming nearby when they were urgently trying to figure out puzzles.
He was, in a sense, camouflaged by his ability to be obnoxious. It was a skill he'd trained for his entire life, and it was obvious by the ease with which he wielded it, that he was an expert.
She ripped away from his tight hold when she tugged at his hand, excited by the exposure of the astronomers tower ahead. He was only familiar with what her tower looked like from the outside, so when he entered with her it was with a sense of vague apathy, marred only by the enjoyment of watching her get excited. She burst with energy, which was stifled by a pathetic attempt to prove her loyalty. He couldn't blame her; the room was filled with knights, any one of which could think to judge her for her indiscretion, but to him it was nothing more than entertaining. Mildred was as loyal to the king as he was humble. He smiled when she said it, but she never saw the reaction. Instead, she turned her anger on someone else, and he stood idly by, watching her passion exhude just as heavily in rage as it had in excitement.
It was never a dull moment.

My character's name: Robert Morris Character's journal link:http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=24688713 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER The thud you are now hearing is the sound of ladies around the world swooning, and Sir Robert is not sorry. With a broad chest and muscular arms, he embodies strength and power, enough to wield his massive greatsword, [ THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER ]. It's his duty to seek the greatest of glory, even if he has to save every single damsel in distress all at once with his hand tied behind his back and his eyes closed. He'll do it, you know. He totally will. Physical Description: Sir Robert is draped in glistening knightly battle gear, covered by a silk robe that looks way too expensive for actual fighting, but that's fine - he dramatically rips it off before a fight anyway. This is immediately followed by a slow motion whip of his lustrous man of gold hair, that always seems to be blowing charmingly in the wind that doesn't necessarily exist.

She blinked. It was, in fact, quite shadowy. Hollandaise had thought, for a moment, that something watched her. She would normally put it down to her own nerves, but this was an altogether not-normal situation. She could've turned, descended, but now she wanted to see where this lead.
Still, she could not ignore the prickling of her skin. Quickly, Hollandaise readied her crossbow, sliding a bolt into place. And, blithely, continued to climb. She began to count as she took the steps, her feet scuffing softly on each one.

[Zar]
Zar left the rectangular thing alone and came out from under the table, shaking his hair and sweeping the dust off his clothes and knees. He gave the room a once-over, once again dismissing anything textual as irrelevant. There did not seem to be a great deal of loot in this room, even the pile of cogs and machinery next to Mildred didn't look to be worth stealing.
Turning to Thackery and Lurks, he snorted irritably and curled his lip in the fashion which clearly had taken many decades of noble breeding to attain. "Do me a favour and suffocate yourselves simultaneously, this racket is unbearable."
He moved away from the table, initially heading for the door before he decided to check upstairs, where hopefully there would at the very least be food to be had, he hadn't eaten since that morning.

Wilson gave Zar a helpless look. Wait, what about the thing? And then turned toward the object. "Um..." He tried to knock on the thing again, and he happened to knock seven times.
"Some assistance, please?"

Horace raised an eyebrow at Zar. "Running off again, I see." It didn't matter that, until now, Horace had very well ollied out, too. He snorted and headed towards the object. Ignoring Wilson, Horace kicked the box really hard. If the metal dented, then it might be soft enough for his sword to pry open. Rather like a can-opener, he thought.... or he didn't, because that would be anachronistic and this was medieval times.
