Seth looked over to Tabitha questioningly as she brought up the timing of everything. True, it was awful timing, but he wondered if there would have ever been a good time for something like this. He opened his mouth to say so, but Tabitha spoke first, mentioning Lucy before revealing her illness.

"No. No, no, no, we'll have the doctors here see you. Human doctors are incompetent, and we can sing, i'm sure we can do something." His reaction was nearly the same as is daughter's, but unlike Lucy, Seth was aware that even the sirens had limits when it came to medicine. With his expression still on Tabitha, he reached for her hand. Seth turned back, facing the wall across from him as he let his head fall back a bit, eyes closed as he spoke. "You've always been a fighter, Tabby. Vetty knows that. But you've got to tell her...you've got to let her cheer you on...eventually." he knew that they would have to wait to tell Yvette; she was already going through enough. She was a brand new mother, and had just found out that she had a full blooded sister.

Tabitha sighed as her ex responded to the news. He acted like she was going to a human doctor. Most doctors in this world weren't human, nor was she anymore. The pink haired woman grabbed Seth's arm so he would focus on her. "I will tell Yvette when I'm ready. Not now. Give her some time to understand what it's like to be a mother before we give her the bad news." She told him with a sad smile.

Feeling her grip on his arm, Seth opened his eyes, looking to his ex as she spoke. "Yeah, alright." his voice was soft, and the worry in his eyes was clear. He cared with all of his heart, and he wanted nothing more than to have good news come out of all of this. He knew that Tabitha would age more quickly, but he also knew that she should have much more time than what was being dangled in front of them all. After a few seconds of deliberation, he scooted closer to Tabby, wrapping an arm around her as he spoke. "Remember the time Dawn taught Yvette how to open the fridge, and she ended up spilling a container of milk?" Luckily for Seth, the fault had not been his, at least not directly. He recalled her face, surprised at first but then finding it as fun as bath time. She had started splashing, and luckily Aurora had been there to make sure everything got cleaned up. Smiling, Seth leaned his head atop Tabby's, enjoying their reminiscing until finally, he could feel sleep tugging at him. He knew he would be sleeping on the couch that night, and the morning would be hectic; but in those few minutes, he hoped he was able to convey how he felt about....well, everything.

Tabitha at first struggled and tried to discourage the man from doing that. There was two things that she hated that he was doing. First he was too close. She wasn't his wife and this was not right. They had images to protect now. The second thing that he was doing was talking about Yvette growing up. If Lucy was indeed her daughter, then she missed those same moments. Tabitha had avoided coming when Lucy and then Nathan were born.

"Seth no." She pushed him away. "We shouldn't. Look at what happened last time with our foolishness. We're too old for silly things." She told him as she got up. "The world is not made of pixie dust."

"Tabby, we're just talking." he insisted, well aware that she was right but not wanting to admit such. "I just-..." he sighed, slowly getting to his feet as he tried to explain himself. There was no use, he knew. Tabitha already knew everything he could say, and he already knew that there was no fixing everything. He couldn't go back in time; they had done that, once before and it hadn't changed a single thing. "I just want you to be okay. I want Yvette, and Lucy to be okay." He wanted Eileen to be okay, and Nathan, whenever they decided to explain this change to him. But would they all ever be okay? Seth had never hated his title, not even when Victor had left it to him...but now, as he stood apart from Tabitha, he knew that his 'duty' may as well have been pointless. Acting as a true king hadn't helped anybody. "...goodnight, Tabby." he said after another moment, running a hand through his hair before turning away and heading to where he knew he should be.

This time it had been Tabitha that pushed Seth away. The woman burst into tears and got up to go to her guest room. She had lost the one person she could tell. Yvette didn't need the worries, Seth didn't need the pressure, and now Lucy didn't need to know her mother was dying. The woman ran to her room and hid herself in it till morning.

Caesar awoke beside his wife, stretching lazily as he did his best to stifle a yawn. The sun sprawled over the couple, and he found peace in the silence of the next few minutes. It was until he heard a sharp cry that he was able to shove aside his grogginess and remind himself that he had kids now. Sitting up, he shoved Yvette's shoulder, his expression almost panic-like as he said, "Vetty....Uh, Vetty, I don't know what to do!" he stood from the bed, crossing the room to the cribs that held the twins. It would still be a little while before the babies would sleep in their own room, and it was probably a good thing. Already, Caesar was at a complete loss as to what they would need. Christian had started crying, which caused Isabel to join in; it was such a racket, he was finally able to understand why babies weren't always cute.

~~~
When Seth had arrived at his room the prior night, he had found Eileen already asleep, or at least pretending to be so. He hadn't questioned it, he knew they were both too drained to get any real talking done. But when he woke up that morning, a crick in his neck because he'd slept on the sofa, he knew that they would need to discuss this all before facing the family again. It seemed that Eileen had the same idea, she was already awake, clearly waiting for Seth to get up and talk.
"Explain yourself." she said simply, crossing one leg in front of the other as she took a bite of the doughnut she had in her hand. Seth could tell that she had already finished crying over it all, but that meant her anger would only be stronger. "When you told me you were pregnant...I-...I knew that it meant...it meant-" "It meant that you were tied down. You had to be my husband instead of some playboy you always liked to parade as. It meant you had to commit, so you ran to that woman." She had summarized the situation fairly well, it was true, but Seth still wanted to flinch at her words. "It was twenty years ago, Eileen." It was such a stupid excuse, and she was quick to tell him so. "You have been lying for twenty years! How is that better than if you had had sex with her a week ago? You promised me! You made a vow and you broke it before a year had passed! The only reason I have not branded Yvette as an impostor is because I'm doing my duty as a Queen and a Wife! You never loved me! You never cared for me! Do you even love your children? Is there any room in your heart for something besides yourself?" She screamed, standing from her seat as she started to pace around the room. She threw aside the doughnut, knocking over a vase that made a satisfying crashing sound, but it wasn't enough to calm her down. "How could do this to me? To Lucy? I fed her, taught her, encouraged and disciplined her! All why you were holed away in an office! And now you're crazy mother is claiming that she is not my daughter? I don't care what any test says, I will always be Lucianna Solindo's mother! And you will always be her dirt bag of a father!"
Hours passed them by, where both took turns laying blame and insults. They both cried and screamed, but eventually, they were just too tired to carry on. They both separated to get ready for the day, but when the time came to leave their bedchambers, it was Eileen who got the last word. "Nathan will be king." With that, she walked out of the room, Seth following behind her as he did his best to whisper his anger at such a claim.
~~~

Lucianna had gone straight to her room after being told of Melonie's claims. She knew she should feel awful about leaving Elendil by himself, wherever he ended up. Despite the fact that he would never stay in her bed chambers, or else rumors would spread, she had found herself wishing for nothing more than his comfort...but maybe, maybe she wouldn't need it. There was no use in telling him until they had confirmed whether it was all a lie or the truth. He hoped for the latter, then it would all be shoved back into the family's closet full of skeletons and Tabby could continue her work on breaking the curse. Lucy was sure that her parents would be able to move on from this, and she would be able to continue living as a diplomat. It would all be just fine...

Elendil was escorted to a room by a servant since had been there so late, but he wondered if he should return home to his family soon. When dawn broke the elf-prince found himself watching out the window. There were rumors floating about and he could hear each of them with his powerful ears. He wondered if he should adventure outside the room or wait for Lucy to find him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yvette mumbled. She had been up and down all night taking care of the kids. Though she had fewer siblings, nieces and nephews, her husband did not seem be good with kids. Raccoon-eyes got up and went over to Christian first. She already knew her children's cries, but she had yet to master what each cry meant. She checked if there was diaper chances needed, then she figured at least this one was hungry. She took him to her breastfeeding chair and sat down to feed him. "Check if Izzy needs a diaper change." She told her husband.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tabitha sighed about the night before. It would soon be clear that she wont be welcomed to the castle again, at least she could try to break the curse for her daughter's future. The woman got up. She had six more days till she found out about the state of the cancer too. Maybe she should leave Lucy be and visit Bella herself, but that wasn't right even then. She had promised the girl that she would take her.

Lucianna cooperated with the test. It was her father's personal doctor that administered it, taking a sample of her saliva with a cotton swab. She would have preferred to see her own doctor, but they were trying to at least limit the rumors as best they could. As a family, they had to deal with this before addressing the people. Unfortunately, Lucy was positive that if she opened her Monsterbook app, she would see the at least one trending topic regarding this scandal.

Caesar did as he was told, and it became very obvious that Isabel did indeed need a new diaper. At least he had handled this before, but it had been many years...Still, without another word, he found the supply of diapers, moving his daughter to change her. He managed to do so quickly, but he knew that that was where the extent of his abilities lay. At least she wasn't crying any more, so he cradled her closely, his voice soft when he finally looked over to Yvette. "I think I love this." Despite his flyaway hair and tired expression, he wore a smile. He would do his best to stay positive, and after remembering the events of the night prior, he knew to keep it up.

After finding Lucy and allowing his doctor to collect what he needed for the test, Seth stood in a room with his wife and daughter. The air was thick with silence, and he found himself wishing for nothing more than a distraction. Unfortunately, nobody barged in, and he wasn't called away...so after another few minutes, he said, "This won't change anything between you two." Eileen shot him a glare, but slowly she nodded, voicing her agreement as she looked to Lucianna. "No, not between us, Lucy. You are still my daughter." The princess gave a small shrug, still in denial about the entire ordeal. She knew that even if Tabbitha was truly her mother, Eileen had been the one to raise her...but she refused to think about what else it could all mean.

Yvette smiled and used her finger to tell him to come closer, once he was over her the woman pulled on his collar and into a kiss. Once satisfied she freed him. "I knew you would be a good dad." She told him. Not that they had much of choice. They had a quick wedding once she knew that she was pregnant. She had an image to uphold. "It will be a hard couple of months, but it will be worth it." She added with a smile. They had their parents, siblings, and other family members to help them with this mess.

~~~~~~~~~
Tabitha made up her mind. It was time to visit Lucy. If the girl didn't want to go then she would leave and do it herself. She wasn't going to push Lucy into something she didn't want to do. Tabby also wanted to get out of this place, too many bad memories. The woman got up and headed for the princesses door. She peeked in to noticed that she was already with her parents.
The woman frowned. She wanted to leave now. Thinking on her feet the woman changed herself into a black cat and moved herself into the room. Lucy was smart. She would know the black cat was the symbol of the witch. She could tell her parents not to mind the cat.
Caesar approached Yvette when he was beckoned, a smile on his face as he already knew what it would earn. He kissed her back earnestly, positive that he would never grow tired of these moments with her. When she released him, he listened to her, a light chuckle escaping him as he said in response, "I'm just glad you agreed to marry me." It had taken some time, and they didn't have a grand wedding among the people, but he wouldn't have changed a single moment in their entire relationship. He stole another kiss before crossing the room place Isabel back in her crib. As she lay down, he watched her with a smile for several minutes, only looking away to tell Yvette, "I definitely love this."
Lucy continued to sit in the awkward silence suffocating the room, her eyes on the ceiling until she heard the door creak. It was several second before her parents noticed the cat, but by then, she had already realized who it was, and a lie sprang naturally from her mouth. "Kelly! You're not supposed to wander. The vet will be so worried about you!" The princess sprang from her seat, retrieving the cat. She faced her parents as she spoke, walking backwards through the room until she reached the door. "Okay, so I'm not gunna' sit here for the next whatever amount of hours...just call me when the test is done. I'm gunna take Kelly back to the clinic. There's a family coming to adopt her so...yeah." Without waiting for a response, she slipped back through the door, uncaring that her parents were left in her room. They would find their way out eventually.
Lucianna released the cat, but walked quickly around a couple of corners in the hallways before stopping. She wanted to make sure that he parents didn't see where she was really going. "Alright Tabitha, let's do this." She pushed away any thoughts about the drama taking over her family, and instead focused on the good that she and Tabby would be doing. At least they wouldn't be wasting their time.
Yvette giggled. "Yeah. If you had told me ten years ago that we'd be married and have twins, I would have told you 'fat chance' even if I really liked you. I was so upset with dad that I wanted nothing to do with being a siren." Yvette confessed. Their little man finally let go as he finished feeding. "Give him a burp." She told her husband as they switched children for their chance to eat. "I'm glad I chanced my mind."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tabby morphed back as they moved away from the other part of their family. "I need to get away from this place. Grab Elendil and let's get out of this dump." the woman told her companion. She didn't know where they had taken Elendil so she figured that Lucy would know.

Caesar grinned at Yvette's words, well aware that she had never planned on marrying a siren. But you can't control who you love, he knew, and they had ended up as an item despite the past. He carefully exchanged the babies, handing Isabel to her as he took Christian. Burping the infant, he prayed that today would not be his first experience with being vomited on.

Lucy gave a small nod, completely in understanding that Tabitha would not want to stick around. It made sense, she herself felt an overwhelming urge to leave; maybe never come back for those test results. It didn't matter, she knew. They would be doing good where they were going. Taking a few steps down the hall, she motioned for Tabby to wait for a moment. She knocked on the door once before slipping inside, waiting to hear the click of the door shutting before practically throwing herself into Elendil's arms. "Are you up for another adventure?" she asked, forcing her tone to remain upbeat as she pushed aside her worries. He didn't need to know about her mother, not until she knew if it was true. "Tabby and I are going to speak with my cousin. She wants to break the curse."

Yvette smiled. "You should put a burping rag on your shoulder." She told him with smile and a chuckle. It would prevent her consort from having vomit all over him. "You know that we'll be introducing them to the kingdom today. It will be their first public appearance." She commented as she looked at her two newborns.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Elendil smiled at Lucy when she came into the room, but it soon became one of concern. There was no hiding it from him. He didn't kiss her lips, instead he kissed her cheek near her ear. "What is wrong my love." He asked her. He would respect her space if she needed it, but he still was going to ask.
Caesar looked between his son and daughter, a small smile on his face as he thought of how excited the people would be to meet the newest members of the royal family. "I don't have any clue what they should wear..." he commented with a small laugh, well aware that it was a bit ridiculous to worry about a baby's fashion statement. "And then we've got the dinner tomorrow." he realized after another moment, eyes widening slightly. The entire family would be flying in, most arriving late tonight in order to prepare themselves.
Lucianna simply shook her head, a small smile on her face as she insisted, "It's nothing. I just didn't sleep well last night. I think I've gotten used to sharing my bed with you." At least that was part of the truth. It had been harder to sleep without him at her side, but she knew he would be able to tell that she was leaving something out. So she avoided his gaze, shoving her concerns down further as she changed the subject. "Come on, let's go get some work done." She took his hand, pulling him along to the door.
