Silver could hear the scuttling of a group of Bergmite nearby, but would choose to ignore them. She had her heart set on finding a very select few Pokemon, and Bergmites were not on her list right now. Hopefully the hybrid would be able to find what she was looking for.

It seemed that Silver had wandered into a cave, since a Roggenrola dropped from the ceiling, frightening Silver's Cubone as it landed in front of him. In his panic, the Cubone would toss his bone in a Bonemerang attack, causing the Roggenrola to flee, not wanting to be hit by the attack. Silver would chuckle, having heard the shuffling as the Mantle Pokemon ran off. "It's a good thing that's not what we were looking for, eh?" she would say calmly, leaning down to pat her Cubone on the head before setting off again.

Trish happened upon a common sight from her native region. "Eevee. So many possibilities." she said as she looked down at Idina. "You need a fellow fox to keep you company, don't you?" She asked her Pokemon.
"Fen fen!" Idina agreed.
"Then we'll catch it and you'll have a nice Flareon to play games with before you know it." Trish agreed.
"Let's start off with a Fire Spin!" Trish cheered. Idina released a spiral of flames towards Eevee but the opposing fox was prepared, using a powerful Sand Attack to quell the blaze. Several orbs of dust appeared before Eevee, blasting outwards, the various motes dulling the light of the fire and eventually suffocating the blaze at last.
"Wow. That's some Sand Attack." Trish commented. Ok. Try out Psyschock, then." Idina's Twisted Spoon glowed along with her eyes as she compressed her psionic energy into an orb which she flung at Eevee with abandon.
The free-flying orb was met mid flight by several star-shaped beams, cracking it apart and shattering the psychic blast with a small explosion.
"And a strong Swift as well." Trish noted as she considered her options. "Looks like we're left with two choices. Use Flame Charge to get in there close and use your Psybeam!" She instructed. She needed to close the distance here.
Idina nodded and took a long calculated look at Eevee, who was showing a peculiar luster to it's fur by now. It was....Captivating. Oh, how could she attack such a lovely sight?
For the moment, Eevee used the hesitation to strike again with Swift. Idina was caught off-guard by the attack, still enraptured by the appearance of the Normal-type fox Pokemon. She was hit fairly hard but it snapped her out of the daze she'd been knocked into, allowing her to finally use the attacks she'd been instructed to.
"Fen fen fenfenfen!" The little fire-fox declared as she charged forward, cloaking herself in fire along the way. She knocked Eevee aside with ease, darting back around quickly in order to strike again. Eevee couldn't recover in time and was juggled back into the air. Looping back around for one last attempt before she used her "brain laser" as one might call it..
Eevee was ready to retaliate this time, though. Another powerful Sand Attack quenched Idina's flames but her speed had already been ramped up plenty. The now speedy Fennekin zoomed around to find Eevee's blind spot, dragging one Swift after another behind her with their tracking powers, Eevee attempting again and again to hit her until the star storm was met with a sudden stop.
"Jump!" The call came as Idina rushed headlong towards Eevee, intending to use Psybeam in motion. She heard and obeyed, jumping over the Normal-type before turning on a dime and firing her Psybeam. Eevee tried to dodge and wound up throwing itself into the line of it's own attack.
Pummeled by the beams that had been chasing it's foe, the Evolution Pokemon fell to the ground, it's fur singed by the energy in them in places and smoking slightly. "I need to try before it faints. I won't leave a Pokemon out here in that state." Trish said as she grabbed a Safari Ball and threw it quickly.

With the Eevee captured successfully, the ball having just stopped it's shaking, Trish pulled out the Level Ball she'd used earlier and let out it's inhabitant out in a blue flash. "You're free to go. I found something more my speed as a trainer." She told the Smoochum. It looked rather downhearted but walked away calmly, leaving the blonde and her Fire fox to themselves.
"You, I think, will be the one I plan to keep and train." She told the ball in her hand.

Silver would feel slight heat emanating from a young Magby that was dancing around her legs. Although it wasn't what she was looking for, the appearance of the fire type made her quite excited. Maybe she would find what she was looking for soon?

A faint flow is seen in the distance, however the glow keeps randomly dimming. The duo cautiously spread the bushes to find a Cyndaquil laying on the ground. Arkelos looks down at Growlithe "It looks hurt, stay on guard it could be a trap."
Arkelos emerges from the bushes. The injured Cyndaquil looks up and trying to make a break for it, but it's injuries are to bad. Arkelos lays down on the frozen ground to notice it has be hit by a poison barb. What attacked it is unknown.
Arkelos reaches into it's bag to grab a antidote and a potion. "I'm here to help you recover." Cyndaquil looks over to see Arkelos holding the medicine. It nods in approval as Arkelos applies the Antidote and potion. A few mins later the flames on Cyndaquil's back begin to grow more and more Vigorously.
Cyndaquil jumps up with a Fiery passion in it's eyes. Arkelos jumps back in shock just as Growlithe jumps in between the two of them. Arkelos stands up in battle ready stance.
Cyndaquil starts off the fight Defense curl. Arkelos looks puzzled, Growlithe jumps in with a Ember attack, Cyndaquil dodges the embers to counter with Rollout. Arkelos yells to Growlithe "Dodge that attack!" Growlithe barely moves out of the way. Cyndaquil Rolls around to a stop, it's flames even more vigorous than before. The flames began engulfing Cyndaquil, than out of the fire it comes running with blazing speeds getting a direct hit to Growlith. Growlithe jumping back up with little scratches, Growlithe begans to shake and giving off intense heat, eye open with a fiery looking, opens it's mouth and a wave of intense heat flows from it's core. Giving Cyndaquil a surprise, rendering it laying on the ground with a burn. "Great job Growlithe, Congratulation on the new move! Lets end this now! Growlith ember" Cyndaquil looks up and moves out of the way. "It still wants to fight i see, Growlithe Flame wheel!" Growlithe makes a circle of flames engulfing Cyndaquil, It emerges from the flames in a blazing speed again. "Growlithe dodges and counters with ember again," Growliths fires not at Cyndaquil but the path in front of it, making it hard to see where it's going. Cyndaquil not being able to see loses control and collides into a huge rock. Arkelos takes his chance at trying to capture Cyndaquil. Throwing the safari ball.

A slow-moving Torkoal would bump into the back of her legs, and continue to try and walk despite the obvious block in its path. Silver would lean down to examine the Pokemon, her furred hands traveling gently over its face. Finding a great deal of scars, Silver sighed. "You're just as blind as I am, aren't you buddy?" she asked, petting the Torkoal's head gently. "If I don't find what I'm looking for, I'll see if I can find you again, alright?" The Torkoal would tilt his head, obviously confused, but, he didn't seem to be running off, so, that was a good sign.
Time to return to the search!

Arkelos gets frustrated at the lose of his first attempt. Cyndaquil still burned loses momentum. it uses defense curl again. Arkelos shouts "Growlithe keep an eye out for the next move!" Growlithe is focusing on Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil uses rollout and come barreling down toward Growlithe. "NOW GROWLITHE! Use FLAME CHARGE! Growlithe lunges forward with great ferocity, Cyndaquil increasing speed. The two collide with an Volcanic like explosion. Clouds of smoke and dust everywhere. Growlithe leaps out of the debris with heavy breathing. The air clears to find Cyndaquil still standing as well, yet confused. "That hit on the head must have given it quite a headache." Arkelos say with sarcasm as he throws his second Safari ball.

Seeing the man from earlier struggling with a Cyndaquil capture, Trish pulled a Ball from her pocket and shouted. "Try this! It might help!" She said as she threw the Ultra Ball to him. She couldn't guarantee anything but that Fire Mouse seemed much more resilient than any Safari Ball was built to handle. She just hoped the guy was a good catch. And had better aim than her since the ball took a sharp turn along the way and ended up bouncing off a tree, rolling up to his feet by some miraculous chance.
Without waiting to see how he would react to the gift, she continued on her way back into the tunnel system to locate the exit gate.

Well, due to the environment, Rhyme was taking her chances with Noise, entering the zone sparking in excitement. The Sharpedo and her were a fair team, but she'd never done a safari zone contest before! Thus, she took a breath, quietly wrapped her coat around her tighter and tucked her bell away, and entered the park with Noise in tow, prepared for...well...almost anything.

Silver would take only a few steps forward before having a Diglett pop out of the ground beneath one of her feet, knocking her off balance. The Houndoom hybrid would promptly land on her behind, and she would snarl at the Diglett, which appeared to be laughing at her. Just as she was about to lunge at the Pokemon, it would disappear back into the ground. Why you little... she would start, cutting herself off before she could finish her sentence. Silver would get back up onto her feet, dust herself off, and continue her search.

Arkelos disappointed in his last two attempts sighs. Looking down he sees an Ultra ball, just as he looks looks up he sees a women vanish into the brush. "I'm not sure who that was, i really wish i could thank them." Arkelos' focus returns to the battle. "This isnt over yet, Growlithe bare with me just a little bit longer." Cyndaquil is still in a daze, Growlithe charges again with Flame Charge. "One more hit!" Growlithe sends Cyndaquil flying. Arkelos in hopes that this will capture the Cyndaquil. "ULTRA BALL! Darts finds himself facing down a Lairon, smoke coming from the nostrils of the Steel-type as it stalks the crags of the caldera nearby the completely dormant volcano. He was only allowed one Pokemon after all, so he meets the stalking Steel-type with his Deino again, the blind Dragon shuffling to face the easily audible Pokemon in front of it. Its metal plates shifted and squeaked as it moved, and clearly it was helping the littler Dragon-type keep its foe's position mentally. It bares its fangs in a snarl, clearly ready to rumble this time.
"Alright, let's start off with a Fire Fang!" Darts commands, and the blind Dragon swoops in to do his bidding, his fangs chewing through the hard outer covering like butter as he chomps onto the tank in front of him.
The Lairon lets out a piercing metallic shriek, rolling backwards as pieces of its armor, mostly the ones that Deino had ahold of go clattering to the ground, more and more pieces shedding as it moves. Darts notices the armored Pokemon moving faster and faster as it does so, clearly proving that it knew Autotomize. Once it's gotten rid of enough armor, the Steel-type would strike back as the Deino shakes the piece of armor in its mouth viciously, clearly unaware its target had gotten away. "Deino!" Darts shouts. "Watch out!"
The Lairon moves in at a rapid pace, a burst of speed accompanying it as its now much sleeker form allows it to close the gap instantly to unleash a Metal Burst, slamming violently into the Deino's chest area, sending the first-evo to the ground with a booming crunch. It straightens itself after a second, a few bruises evident from the attack but it lets out a valiant chirp, clearly ready to continue. Darts notices that even though the Lairon had shed most of its armor, there's a pair of scores on its side where the smaller Dragon had latched onto it with Fire Fang. They were bright red, and the armored Pokemon was favoring that side heavily so the gambler figured he could push his advantage. "Go Deino, Rock Smash! Aim for the hottest spot you can feel!" The Deino frowns, and it appeared to be concentrating as the Lairon rushes it, clearly not intending to give the smaller Pokemon a chance to reflect on what it was doing. The Steel-type towers over the smaller Dragon, readying to crumple on top of it when all of a sudden Deino moved like a blur, its head slamming with expert precision into the bigger Pokemon's wounded side, a Rock Smash expertly piercing and sending it to the ground, where it lay still for a second. Darts figured he wasn't going to get better than this right now, so he readied a Pokeball of his own, a Great Ball to be precise and he tosses it.

It was a Cubchoo that came out before, but that wasn't the pokemon she was looking for. Rather, it was cute but not quite something she was interested with having on her team. The two blinked at each other before the tiny bear went to hide away again, leaving Rhyme to continue on with her search, Noise grumbling while following her.

Hearing the gentle snoring of a sleeping Litleo, Silver would continue on, not wanting to disturb the little fire lion. Hopefully she'd find what she was looking for soon, as walking was starting to make the pads of her feet hurt, especially since she was currently stepping on various stones.
