With a slow exhale, Ajicka bid Lorelei farewell, and headed towards the hallway leading towards the champion. Was she nervous? ... No, actually, not really. Not in the classical sense, anyway. There was a fiery excitement, sure, and a great deal of anticipation, but if anything, she was just biting at the bit for the challenge. Jas had probably had the hardest fight of the four, but she hadn't even used Fall, and Gliscor came out of his battle at full HP, thanks to his ability-- which meant he was still poisoned, giving him one hell of an advantage going into this battle. Everyone else... She took a moment to heal up her pokemon, thinking this through slowly, just a few feet from the door to the champion's room. This was it-- if she beat him, she became champion. Honestly, she wasn't sure the title was something she really wanted, as far as the acclaim went, but if she held it, it would mean future challenges, from the best of the best, and if she were dethroned, a new goal. It was worth it, for those reasons. Plus, well... maybe a few others, that she hadn't really admitted even to herself just yet.
With everyone set, she lifted her gaze to the double doors before her, and began a strong, steady stride forward. As she approached, they slid apart, revealing the chamber, and furthermore, the champion. It made her wonder how many regions you could challenge-- she could see herself doing this, again and again, though she knew she wouldn't be able to hold the title elsewhere. Just for the opportunity, though...
Well, she should probably start this battle, first, and see how it went. Pulling out a pokeball, the first one she'd been given in her journey, she held it up, and met the champion's gaze. "Hope you're ready," she chimed, before releasing Jas onto the battle field, and readying herself for whatever came next.
