It wasn't until there was a scream and a declaration of "let go of me" that Skye turned back to see the girl being harrassed by a guy, who clearly didn't understand the demand. Skye rushed over and pulled the man away, locking his arm behind him."The little lady said to let her go. I don't know who you are or what you want, but harassing a terrified girl isn't at all acceptable.""Ow, ow! Let go! I was just trying to--" Skye let the other go but pushed him away."It doesn't matter if you're an officer sent to tell her she's been orphaned. There's no excuse for terrifying a lady out of her wits. Piss off before I carve 'pig' onto your forehead.""Snivy!"
The guy went away grumbling, and Skye rested a hand on her hip before turning. The girl hadn't moved and was holding her wrist over her chest, her other hand wrapped around it. Clearly, she was terrified."You don't look too good. You should take a seat before you get sick."Skye reached out to her, but the Pokemon at her side growled a very vicious warning and she withdrew her hand."Are you going to be alright? I can go get a nurse or an officer if you need one."

Cheria jumped when the man she ran into earlier came to her defense, but she missed the interaction entirely as she held her wrist to her chest. She took slow breathes to try and relax, but only panicked more when her rescuer addressed her. Thankfully, he took a hint and pulled his hand away when Lupup growled at him. Cherie looked up at him nervously and shook her head a bit. "No....No, I'll be, uh....I-I'll be fine." Cherie looked away, lowering one hand while the other went across her stomach and held onto her arm. "...Th-Thank you for...for helping me. I'm sorry for the trouble....I'm Cheria Barnes. Please, forgive Lupup for his...warning." Forgive him? Lupup snorted. This guy was lucky it was just a growl!
Skye frowned as the other spoke rather...brokenly. Poor girl. She introduced herself as Cheria Barnes and Skye gave a smile before bowing slightly to her."Skylark at your service, Miss Cheria~! And, this little beauty is Corrianna....If you don't mind me asking, why was that guy chasing you?"

Skylark? That was an...oddly familiar name. Not too many people with that name. Looking down at the Snivy, Cheria sodftly waved to her. What a pretty name. Corrianna....It was stunning. Cheria's cheeks turned pink and she covered her face, looking away shyly. Was she really? The timing wasn't the best, but it made her feel better. This guy was a gentleman with a charming and smooth way of flirting. "I....I don't think I'm all that pretty, but....Thank you for the compliment." Cheria got her face to cool down and looked back at Skylark, giving him a small smile. "So, is Corrianna your starter? That must mean you started here in Unova, right?"

She helped the wobbling Snivy catch her balance with her foot before looking at Lillipup."Gonzo!"Gonzo appeared from his ball, only to be struck with Lillipup's Tackle attack. That little mutt!"Scratch him, Gonzo!"Though the attack did less to Lillipup than Tackle did to Gonzo, the Purrloin was given a second chance to strike after Lillipup foolishly used Leer. It wasn't long before Lillipup was down, Gonzo standing over him proudly.
