To get Mezzo to calm down, Cameron started heading to the Pokemon center to get his arm checked out and bandaged up. On the way, though, a Lotad waddled out of the water and shouted noisily at the group. Its shouting didn't last long, though, as an irritated Allegro smacked the water Pokemon and sent it on its way. With the brief distraction dealt with, Cameron and his Pokemon continued to the Pokemon center to have the bite mark looked at and cleaned out.

The nurse had fussed over the wound some, but eventually it was determined that the only things needed were a good cleaning out and some gauze wrapped tightly around the punctures. Nothing important had been pierced and no bones had been broken, so the underweight teen didn't have to worry about having to wear a cast or being stuck in the center for any longer than he already needed to be. That was a fairly good thing, as the teen wanted to try and find some more Pokemon before moving back to Littleroot and raising up the Wingull he had caught earlier.

Not too long after leaving the Pokemon center, Cameron had to stop and check something due to a soft beeping he heard coming from his Pokenav. According to the device, one of the berries he planted was ready for harvesting, so the teen went over to a bench and gently set his pack down on it. Pulling out the pots one by one, eventually the black-haired male saw that it was the Oran tree that had a large number of berries ready to be plucked."Looks like a full crop~ Not bad for my first tree,"he said as he pulled the berries off the small tree and tucked them away for safekeeping. His Treecko let out a syllable of agreement before helping with clearing out the tiny tree so that a new berry could be planted in its place. A downright shame that berry trees and bushes were only viable for one crop.

Cameron took stock of the remaining starter berries he had been given earlier after tucking away his Oran harvest. Apparently he had quite a few Pomeg berries, a Roseli berry, and an Enigma berry tucked at the very bottom of the bag. Eventually, the young male made his choice of what to plant and tucked the Roseli berry into the soil of the pot before watering it and replacing the dome."That takes care of them,"he quietly said to no one in particular as he carefully tucked the pots back into his bag and worked on shouldering the pack once more. For someone with a light frame like Cameron, the bag was rather heavy and quite a chore to sling across the back. Still, he managed it and got to his feet, too.

The black-haired male wasn't able to stay on his feet for long, unfortunately. Just as he started to look around, a Wingull flew over and cawed at the male. The teen let out a startled yelp at the noise and ended up falling back onto his rear end and landing on the bench he had gotten up from. It didn't take long for Allegro to drive the bird off with a smack across the beak, but its appearance had still been a bit of a surprise for Cameron.

Almost as soon as Cameron set foot back into Oldale Town, his Pokenav was beeping at him once more."Hm? Another tree already?"the teen muttered as he pulled out the device and, sure enough, one of the berry trees he was growing was ready to be harvested again. This time, it was the Cheri plant that needed plucking."Okay... Um... Could you ho-woah!"As the underweight teen spoke, he crouched down to try and hand Allegro the Pokemon egg, only to become unbalanced and fall onto his front. Thankfully, between the Treecko having enough sense of mind to try and protect the egg and the fact that Pokemon eggs in general were somewhat durable, Cameron's unhatched charge was undamaged by the fall. The same was not entirely true of the trainer himself, though.
After a bit of groaning and some struggling to roll to his side the black-haired teen was at least able to get off his Treecko. Once the grass starter took the egg from the teen's hands, Cameron squirmed until he got free from his pack's straps. Most people probably wouldn't have had that sort of problem in the first place, but the glasses-wearing teen's low body weight meant the bag's scarce contents already made the container weigh as much as a significant chunk of his body. Now that the heavy bag was off Cameron's back, though, he could move around more easily and adjust the bag so that it was upright. Once that was taken care of, the teen pulled out his berry pots and was relieved to find that, while shaken, the plants inside didn't seem to be damaged in any way. Well, except for the Cheri tree, but that was more because the berries fell off of it when the teen took his tumble.
It only took a few moments to sort out the pots and harvest the bumped off berries, and soon enough the quintet of pots were set aside. Cameron now focused on his other belongings, pulling out a couple changes of clothes, a first aid kit and some potions, and two boxes containing instruments. One was the long, thin box that held his glass flute, which was the first instrument that Cameron checked. Once satisfied that the delicate instrument had not been damaged, he carefully tucked it back in its cushioned box so that he could check the other box. That one was smaller than the one that contained the flute, but wider and a little taller. Opening it revealed another section of foam, this one holding a ceramic, blue-painted ocarina with a thin red string laced through a pair of holes drilled up at the mouthpiece so that the instrument could be worn around the neck for safekeeping. Well, safekeeping if the person wearing it wasn't likely to fall over and land on their face or chest. Again, the instrument was undamaged, allowing Cameron to let out a sigh of relief as he tucked the ocarina back inside its box.

With everything checked out and nothing broken, Cameron planted a new berry in the pot that was part of the reason he got into the mess he was in and worked on tucking everything back into the bag. The teen figured he really needed to come up with a better way to carry all his stuff around, but nothing came to mind at the moment."Looks like I'll have to be more careful..."the teen muttered as he stood back up, then looked down at Allegro, the egg the Treecko was holding, and the bag.That's... A bit of a problem...Cameron did not look pleased as he eyed the egg and the pack, trying to figure out how to pick up both of them without toppling over.
It didn't take long for Cameron to grab the bag and wear it while heading over to a bench. Allegro followed close by, carrying the egg that was a bit too large for the Treecko. The black-haired male nodded a bit as he took off his pack once again and set it on the bench, then bent down to relieve Allegro of his load."Right then... This should work fine,"the teen commented as he carefully set the egg on the seat of the bench, then shouldered his pack once more before finally reaching for the egg. Now that it was at a more manageable height, the teen didn't have to worry about falling over in an attempt to pick up the thing. Allegro yelped and chased after his trainer while Mezzo chirped lightly and flew along until she lightly landed on Cameron's shoulder. Unlike the others, though, Legato was not in much of a hurry and gave a lazy yawn before slowly gliding along to follow the group.

Bounding into Oldale, Marx was quickly joined by Basil, who promptly smacked him over the back of his head with a disapproving look. Marx pouted, slowing and rubbing his head, but before he could question his starter pokemon, zubat came flapping down, batting at Marx's' head, and then landing on his shoulder, screeching impatiently. The wurmple in his arms looked up with comically wide eyes at the two pokemon, clearly less than certain about the company, but Marx just gave a confused look.
"Ow, hey... what's up with you?" he muttered, rubbing his head as the zubat continued screeching at him. He looked with confusion at Basil, and felt Felix's ball shake at his waist, but blinked and seemed to realize it on his own after a moment. "Oh! You want another chocolate?" he offered, grinning a bit, and pulling one out to give Zubat. The pokemon shrieked happily, eating the treat and then taking off, back into the air. Basil stared at his trainer, clearly shocked, but Marx didn't even noticed, and turned forward. "I should buy some more of those!" he remarked.

And indeed, Marx was sure to swing through the pokemart to check for any more fo the chocolates, batting Zubat off with a laugh to keep the pokemon from eating them all. He was glad the little bat pokemon enjoyed them, but he was only able to get a few! He needed to save them, in case his other pokemon wanted them as well. At least Basil seemed un interested, and the temporarily caught wurmple, once more on his shoulder, simply seemed curious, but declined trying one.
With that done, Marx headed off, checking his communicator once more, out of habit. He didn't have any messages.... but he still wanted to hurry to catch up to his friends. A grin crossed his face at the thought, and he quickly picked up a jog.

Continuing through Oldale, Cheria was stopped by a delivery girl who handed her a small package. After signing for it and taking a seat on a bench, Cheria opened the simple brown package. Inside were a psychic gem, a heart scale, and five...chilan berries. At least, she was sure they were chilan berries. Well, whatever they were, they were great to have. But, she didn't see a card or anything to tell her who sent them. Maybe it was sent in a rush, or the card got lost in mail. It happened. Storing the items in her bag, she stood and tossed the box and wrapping in the trash bin before returning to her trip back to Kalos. Sonia walked next to her, jumping on leaves. Not in a playful manner....She looked to be training herself. It was odd, but Cheria wasn't going to judge her. If that was what she wanted to do, then she was more than welcome to do so.

Cheria soon reached the route from Oldale to Littleroot, and after making sure she was ready, she left the town for the next. Was Marx still there? Or, had he moved on? Well, either way, she had to make sure to follow and not let her fear take over. If it did, she would just call Marx and ask if it was okay if she didn't show up, but wouldn't that disappoint him? Mom always said I was too sensitive to others. I should take a page out of her book and learn to think for myself at times like these.
