Eventually Dova would get this whole ‘landing without your face in the ground’ down but for now, she was still figuring it out. And once more, Lafayette found himself catapulting off and to his own feet as she slid to a terrible halt. To be fair, this place was hidden in a little mountain valley it seemed, which left all kinds of strange jagged parts jutting out to smash into. Lafayette had to give the dragon credit for not slamming into those, though slamming into the ground was probably a little bit sadder.

Huffing a little, he once more started his trek through the city, arm raised up and device going as he waited for the familiar beeping noise to sound. It was rather tedious to be doing this, to be honest and it was starting to show in his actions. The blonde was fidgeting here and there, once in a while fiddling with the wrench on his tool belt as he did. He’d rather be at the fair or fixing something or… hell anything but this. Maybe this was punishment for running off like he had without asking permission. Juliean was pretty much aware that he detested monotonous jobs and avoided them like the plague. Well no maybe that was wrong. He could be training his pokemon if he really wanted to. But then again that wasn’t a completely viable option. Given the location the pokemon around here were probably incredibly tough. There was a gym too, and a quick questioning of some locals told him that a leader that screwed with dragons as their preferred type was probably one tough b***h and he meant that in an endearing way. Now that he thought about it, maybe he should ask her how to help Dova fly better; she was part dragon if he recalled correctly. Of course, her species was native to Kalos, not Johto. Would the woman even believe him? Or would she judge him harshly for having a dragon that at the moment, sucked at flying? Ah well, that wasn’t something he really cared about to be honest.

Dova snuffled along the ground as they walked, whipping this way and that. While Lafayette might’ve found the job annoying, she found herself excited over the new exploration. This place seemed right up her alley too! She could just sense the dragon-esque power radiating from the environment. There were even stone carvings of dragons peppered throughout the city though she recognized none of them. In fact, she spent a good amount of time just sitting there and staring at one in particular, head tilted to the side in in wonder. It was a kind of fat looking dragon to be honest with wings too small that they couldn’t really support its weight. Was this really a dragon or some kind of bad interpretation from spoken lore? Either way… it wasn’t really something she aspired to be like…

Beep. Beep. Beep. Lafayette let out a sigh of relief as the device sounded off in response as he stepped into an area right outside something called the Dragon’s Den. He was kind of interested in checking it out but also kind of not; there were still a few more cities to head too after all and wasting time exploring areas that he’d probably find himself in again wasn’t something he wanted to do. Once the device had pinged itself as done scanning he gave a sharp whistle, watching as Dova scrambled and bounced her way back to him. She came to a scuffling halt just a foot in front of him, grinning and head tilting in anticipation for their next destination.
Lafayette smiled a bit, giving her a gentle pat on the head once more and mounting up again. Another moment of fiddling to figure out where to go and they were off once more heading to a different region…

There was something about this place that really made Misa smile. Maybe it was the layout, the breeze that blew here or that there was a Gym or the fact that there was a sign. What was so special about that sign? The sign informed any guest of the city that this was the city of dragon's. If you wanted to make an impression towards this young gal then show her a dragon Pokemon and she might just eat out of the palm of your hands. This wasn’t going to be a place where she should try her chance of catching any sort of Pokemon. The Pokemon that lived around here were probably really strong. Even though she had faith in Venusaur’s ability, Misa wasn’t going to expose it to any trouble that awaited them in this city. Though, since it was a city that probably meant that this place was going to be crawling with Dragon Pokemon. Maybe it was better to head to the Pokemon Center for more information. The Nurse Joy from the Kanto Region were a really helpful bunch. Hopefully they wouldn’t be biased about where she was born.

Dealing with past experiences Misa headed to the Pokemon Center with a skip to her step. The city was a rather….hmmm...what might have been a good word for this sort of city. It didn’t have a lot of tall building like the other cities that she had been to. The few building that were around looked more like dens and the tallest ones were about two stories. At least the only building that changed was the Pokemon Center with its red roof. It pretty much stuck out to her since the whole place consisted of a rocky terrain. Not that there was nothing wrong with this sort of layout. Every city had its charm and this particular city had a more simplistic charm.

Walking into the Pokemon Center and exchanging the usual greeting, Misa climbed towards the window seat once more. From here she could make out the city’s Gym. Even though the design of the building was simple it had this rather menacing aura around it. It clearly wasn’t a place for Misa. The girl had only attained three badges so far and those were from the Kanto region. The Johto region did have some familiar Pokemon that hailed from the Kanto Region. Maybe that had to do with how close the Kanto and Johto region were. At least it was comforting to find Pokemon from her home region. It would of have seemed rather odd had she went to a region with Pokemon that were completely unknown to her.
