Shigure is a perverted male who enjoys making others uncomfortable with his jokes and flirtations. He acts childish, however is far more clever than he comes off. He's always five steps ahead of others, and seems to have a manipulative tendency. He steers foxes to what he wants out of them, and often does so while acting like a moron. It's hard to pinpoint his craft and secretive nature, and the 'Daeva prides himself in this. He's cruel at times, sacrificing the feelings of others to protect himself or his mate. In his world no one else matters but himself and Nanna.
Shigure is violent when provoked, like many 'Daevas. It is best not to mess with the couple, as Shigure will roast anyone who dares, later hiding it with a smile and a false obliviousness.
Shigure was adopted as a BCR, raised by another 'Daeva who he, to this day, fondly speaks of. He traveled quite a bit once he was an adult, eventually settling down and mating with a vixen. She cheated on him, prompting Shigure to dump her and begin actively sleeping around and treating other foxes like pawns. This ceased when he met Nanna, immediately enamored by the vixen.
He spent a long time trying to court her, failing each time. It took almost a year for him to give up, instead dropping his act and getting to know the vixen as a friend. Somehow, without intending for it to happen, Nanna found that side of Shigure more appealing and the two mated.

Phanes loves violence. While she isn't physically violent, she enjoys watching others get hurt, especially if she's the one who caused it. She's incredibly frail and has a weak immune system, but this doesn't stop the vixen from breaking other foxes she finds irritating or too weak for her taste. While most of her family uses physical means to break others, she instead uses manipulation and mind games. She's prone to leading foxes straight into the jaws of her more violent family, or even to get lost in her favorite section of the forest she lives in.
Phanes doesn't speak much, nor does she express emotions on her face. She uses physical body cues to suggest her thoughts, and is quite physically affectionate towards those she cares for. Her friends might even be alarmed should they ever discover her more violent behaviors! She's motherly, to boot. Kits will never need to fear her. She will assist the wounded and sick, provided they don't annoy her along the way.
Phanes comes from a violent but loving family. She was born frail and sickly and often was unable to train alongside her siblings. Instead of learning how to cause physical harm, the vixen learned how to inflict as much pain mentally. When she grew up she left ex-Cruor lands to lifemate with another fox. They had children and shortly after broke up, causing Phanes to return back to her birthplace.
Nyx stores all information she learns, quickly filing it away for later use. She doesn't forget anything, often correcting others false memories or inaccurate statements at the speed of lightening. She's quiet, painfully so, but will sometimes break silence to spout a fact out that is particularly stuck in her head or to ask a question demanding to be answered. She isn't very expressive, instead favoring a monotone expression and voice at all times. She does feel, however! She just isn't capable of showing it physically.
Nyx is violent only when need be. She isn't above maiming someone if they harm her family, but otherwise she's normally calm and patient. She seems vaguely interested in protecting the weak due to her love for her sister, and sometimes will lend a helpful paw towards those injured or young.
As a kit, Nyx spent most of her time observing her family. She was always close to her almost identical twin, Nox, and even as adults the two stuck together like glue. However, Nyx had accidental children and ended up wandering off to raise them.
When she returned home she took her spot beside her sister once more. During a trip to ensure Cruor didn't have any outsiders she bumped into a male named Niril, who intrigued her. He told her many stories of his travels and the two mingled for some time before it only seemed natural to relate the word 'mate' to them. Nyx and Niril settled together in their own private den within Cruor lands, content to just be a part of the forest together.

Blood lust – a state where when provoked the fox will "snap", causing them to often see red and attack the nearest creature whether or not they wish to or are typically a passive fox. Scent that is similar to blood.
Competitive and irrational, Erebus is far more expressive than most of his family. He's powerful and can be violent with aggravated, but he doesn't mean to be. He can be possessive of his family and mate, often growing violently hostile when they're endangered. He cannot control his emotions well and impulsively reacts, often getting into fights as a result. His rage is dangerous due to his size and training in combat, and probably is best avoided!
He is terrified of losing the one he loves and feels threatened when strangers come near those he cares for. He has insecurity issues, and finds himself comparing others to his own self.
He threw himself into training as a kit, loving the rush of it. He wanted nothing more than to be better than his brother, often tripping over himself when he became too focused on overcoming what his brother achieved. He befriended a kit named Silvermaid as a kit, but as adults he quickly abandoned her when he began to view her as overly needy. He'd later regret being so heartless.
He wandered for quite some time before bumping into Rosalia, who irritated him. She was finding herbs around his home, eventually accepting Erebus' offer to escort her to ensure his family didn't end up maiming her for her trespassing. They did this for a month or so before Erebus ended up brutally beaten by a 'Daeva named Belial. Rosalia took him to her home and nursed him back to health, allowing him to stay for a few months as he recovered. It became clear he didn't want to leave when, after he recovered, he kept finding excuses to stick around. He had begun to fall for Rosalia, but instead of telling her he ended up having a screaming match when she asked if he was ready to leave. Rosalia left the den, and later was found brutalized by the exact same 'Daeva who had attacked Erebus. It was Erebus' turn to nurse her back to health, and this time he confessed.
They've been together since, and both can happily say they haven't seen the monster who had attacked them since.

While Andraste is sweet, she doesn't seem to care much for herself. At all. This doesn't mean she'll allow another fox to harm her, but she doesn't seem to have much self-esteem. It both ties in with her mutation and the fact she's made some pretty questionable life choices throughout her lifetime. Choices that have hurt others, even. As a result, Andraste doesn't think she's good for the world around her. She just messes up, and always will. There's no right answer for her. She's a burden.
Still, while she has little regard for herself she doesn't allow others to push her around. She may hate herself, but she knows when to walk away. She's not the fighting type, and honestly is a bit too frail for that in the first place, but she's quick to get up and ditch the situation if it becomes too much. She is too passive to fight back if things become physical, and often will just accept her fate. She knows she isn't really getting anywhere with her physical strength, and biting is straight out of the question.
Andraste is incredibly clingy once she does bond with someone. Usually, she's prone to hiding in the shadows and fleeing when others notice her, but if you're persistent and show patience and compassion then it's pretty easy to gain her interest. She becomes desperate to know the other loves her, and will nuzzle into friends and wrap herself around them in hopes to be reminded she's cared for. She hates being touched without her initiating, but if she initiates then you're golden!
Due to her deformity, Andraste cannot speak. She lacks both lips and a tongue, and thus can only make incoherent sounds. She also seems to always have spiders on and around her, and is able to communicate with spiders.
Andraste was born during a wave of mutated crack breedings, and wasn't exactly planned for. Despite that, she was raised happily by her fathers, who evidently didn't end up staying together. When she became an adult, she slunk off to inhabit her own cave, settling down by herself.
She met a male named Yusei a few months after settling down, and he wooed her right off her feet. After almost a year of flirting, Yusei finally whisked Andraste off her feet. However, she began to doubt herself and one day fled into the night, convinced Yusei would find someone better. She fled and claimed a new den, and for a few years the vixen kept to herself.
Things were going as planned until Andraste bumped into Yusei. Alarmed, Yusei seemed to forgive her immediately, and convinced Andraste to let him visit here and there. While Andraste still loves him, she isn't sure what to do from there...
Some of her spiders actually popped out of her BCR with her, others she has just picked up on her own. She can communicate with spiders and often uses them to help her keep her jaw attached.

Vetis is a giant guard dog, and he'll do anything in his power to keep others safe. While he's quiet and tends gravitate towards solitary, Vetis will immediately leap up to save those in need. He's fairly stronger than most foxes and will use his physical strength to not only insert himself between an attacker and a victim, but also to inflict physical wounds.
While he claims all he wants is to cuddle into his mate and hide from the world, Vetis wants to actively help those who are often either put down or ignored. He had a soft heart, and has dreamed of a world where mutants can live peacefully. At times, Vetis will discuss perhaps actually doing something about it, but he's yet to actually set forth and put effort into his idea.
Vetis doesn't speak much, often using quick and blunt sentences to effectively deliver his messages. He never is the kind to take over the conversation, but he is a great listener. Vetis can sit for hours, listening to someone babble with the sweetest little smile.
Lastly, he is possessive of those he loves. While he works hard not to interrupt their social life, he does show his affection by flopping beside loved ones and making a point of resting his head on them.
Vetis was born from Belial and Nex, and both parents immediately were horrified by his creation. Neither of them were great candidates for parenting, and so he was abandoned. His sister was chucked in a different direction. Luckily for him, Atiya and Toxic found the BCR and immediately took it in.
When he hatched he was greeted by his new mothers. The boy spent his childhood playing with two kits who lived nearby; Hugin and Munin. Hugin he took a particular liking to, and he began to visit the boy more as he grew older. When he became an adult he grew afraid of his growing feelings for Hugin and attempted to back away from him. During a visit from Hugin, a storm struck and Vetis ended up dragging Hugin to an abandoned cabin for safety. During the storm, Vetis ended up confessing his feelings, and the two became lifemates.
They stayed together in a nearby cave for a few months peacefully. When Hugin wished to see family Vetis didn't mind much, even though Hugin wished to go alone and he was blind. Yet, this was a mistake, as a storm struck and Vetis felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. Rushing off to locate his partner, he found Hugin half dead and immediately nursed him back to health. Thankfully, his mate pulled through and the two were able to cuddle into each other once more! It wasn't even a week after when they found four BCRs in their den, and the two became proud daddies.
Shortly after his children came into his life, Vetis stumbled upon his sister, Anzu. The two immediately sensed their relation to one another, and Vetis insisted on Anzu meeting his parents. Somehow, despite Anzu being a full-grown adult, Toxic and Atiya offered to act as parents for Anzu, and the strange vixen agreed. Anzu has visited several times since, and the two are slowly bonding.
Anzu is a quiet and observant vixen, often watching foxes from a distance. She doesn't let much slip past her and remains quiet in conversations, intently listening to everything and storing it away. Anzu is not easy to converse with, as she doesn't provide many vocal responses and spends time thinking before speaking, often creating awkward pauses between sentences. Anzu plans everything she does beforehand.
She enjoys making deals, and her requests are often sporadic and doesn't follow typical payment plans. Anzu has been called a witch throughout her life due to her involvement with making potions and creating poisons, and Anzu doesn't mind when a fox asks for a favor related to her potions. Want a fertility potion that might make it more likely for a Deity to bless you with babies? She'll whip one up, even if she knows it won't work. Want a potion that will make someone fall in-love with you? Alright, give her a second. Oh, she's aware most of her potions are fakes, but it makes someone happy and makes them believe she's helping them then she doesn't protest. Usually, she'll ask for the strangest things; a human teacup, some hay, or even more random items. She has been known to ask for more demanding things, such as their first born child or their most treasured item. Refuse to give her payment and she'll refuse service or take back what she offered.
While Anzu never attacks first, she will defend herself. Leap at her and she'll easily dodge and go straight for the throat. While Anzu seems to possess a strange patience that bewilders those who have met her parents, she will easily go for the kill should someone attempt to harm her. Anzu also has mutations that can cause pain, such as her spikes, which she'll happily use if someone pins her down, or the strange liquid that comes from her mouth when provoked. The liquid, which only is created when her adrenaline spikes, is burning hot to anyone not her, and is her favorite weapon when attacked.
Anzu is vaguely possessive of those she deems hers. She doesn't bond easily with others and often finds friends as a liability, but when she does attach to someone she will become slightly more affectionate physically. She will gladly chews on her friends or flick her tail around them to show her affection. Her loyalty never wavers, and Anzu will murder for a friend. Literally.
As a side note, it's best not to remove her mask. She'll grow fairly agitated and snap at the paw of anyone trying to remove her mask.
Anzu was born to Belial and Nex. They abandoned her immediately, and sadly her BCR wasn't picked up by the same people who grabbed her brother up. She settled down in a swamp when she hatched, and was nickname the swamp witch as she grew. Foxes began coming to her in times of need as stories about her "magical potions", and Anzu didn't protest.
She met her biological father as an adult, though the meeting wasn't intentional. She stumbled upon Belial attacking a fox named Flint, and decided to help rescue the young fox. Ever since, Flint has devoted his existence to serving Anzu, despite her insistence she had no desire to be his "master", as he claimed her to be. Flint settled down near her den, eager to accomplish any need she had.
Anzu eventually met her brother, Vetis, by accident. Vetis was eager to have her meet his parents, and she agreed. Somehow, during this time, Vetis' parents decided to adopt Anzu, who didn't protest. She declined his offer to live with him, but has been visiting her brother and his family time to time.
The liquid in her mouth is extremely hot to the touch. While she is immune to it others are not. Her mask is not attached to her, but she doesn't remove it. It's for comfort.

She's also stubborn when it comes to something she cares about and will remain firm when it comes to her decisions.

Éireonite grew up in a small but gentle family. She was separated from her family as a young adult during a storm, which later cemented a fear of storms. She wasn't able to find her way back, but she lived a happy and quiet life.
Until she met Abaddon.
Meeting a fox named Phrixos, he warned her to avoid the 'daeva named Abaddon who seemed to stay near his side. She ignored his warning, quickly educated when Abaddon attacked her. She fled her den, finding a new home and hiding there for months. She discovered her neighbor was Phrixos when, during a storm, she screamed and he appeared to check up on her. The male visited plenty, and romance blossomed. Phrixos and Éireonite became lifemates shortly after confessing their affection for one another, and have been together since.

Antique is loyal and protective, especially towards the weak and children. She has a habit of fretting over everyone, often forgetting to worry about her own needs in the process. Antique ignores herself for the most part, and even doesn't mind worsening her own image to help another fox out. In fact, her favorite tactic to scare a fox away from another one is to pretend she's a zombie! She has little regard for herself, and this has caused her to get into plenty of trouble in the past.
She doesn't believe anyone looks apart from the norm. Have extra eyes? That's fine. You ooze? Also fine. Being a mutant has truly made her realize that, in this world, there is no normal. There is no "standard fox". As a result, she can befriend almost anyone, despite appearances. She also takes bullying others for their appearances seriously and will write anyone off who does so.
Despite being a rather friendly and excitable girl, Antique is locked in one place. She can't move too much due to how weak her limbs are. Consistent movement will slowly wear at her limbs and eventually make them ache in protest. This has nothing to do with her being out of shape, but more because she was born with a weak and brittle body. She can't wag her tail much without causing excruciating pain, and so has learned to voice her feelings vocally, rarely relying on her body to convey her thoughts.
Lastly, Antique needs to chew frequently or her jaw will become stiff. She often can be found chewing on sticks, or even delicately chewing on her friends and family to show affection.
While Antique was an unplanned child between two foxes who didn't even love each other, she knew no shortage of love as a child. Her parents remained on good terms and raised Antique and her brother together. As a child, she met Hugin and Munin and became fairly close with the two, eventually bonding to Munin far more. They spent almost every day together, until as a young adult he abruptly vanished. Heart-broken, Antique turned to focus on other things, such as her fathers blossoming love life. Finally, he mated to a woman named Iso, and Antique accepted her stepmother with warm arms.
Munin eventually returned, but with news Antique wasn't ready for; he was joining a tribe. Desperate to stay near him, she join alongside him. After a few months, Antique realized, finally, that lifemating with her intense crush probably would never happen. Munin was afraid of taking a partner, and afraid to have children, and Antique accepted it. Losing all hope, Antique focused on her tribe duties. Her father had more kids, and Antique briefly went to see her siblings. When she returned she was met by Munin, who abruptly admitted he loved her and didn't want to run away from his feelings anymore. Delighted, she lifemated her best friend, and the two settled down together, having kids about a year later.
Her tail doesn't actively rot. It is just stuck at its current rot level, and hurts when she wags it. She often has to keep it still or it'll tear. It can heal, but only up to her usual rot state.

You want to know why hummingbirds flap their wings so fast? She knows, and she'll teach you about the entire anatomy of a hummingbird, and why they earned that name, and pretty much everything she knows about humming birds...
Lora is the youngest amongst her three sisters. Sadly, Myka's BCR was lost by their parents, and their parents perished, so Lora was raised by her more responsible sister, Layla. As a child, Layla keep trying to get Lora to be her subject in experiments, so when Lora grew up it wasn't a wonder she left home to explore the city.
She met Kisenian on her return trip and found the strange woman fascinating. Lora stuck close to the vixen, and even ended up wooing her and convincing her to join the tribe. When she returned to the tribe the two lifemated, and Lora couldn't be happier!
During one of her outings, Lora stumbled upon a fox who looked eerily like her and Layla. Named Myka, the fox was absolutely certain she had found the family she always sensed she had. Lora, frantic, brought Myka to meet Layla, and the family was finally reunited.
Myka is quiet and lacks any social skills. She doesn't speak unless spoken to or she needs to, often favoring just shrugging or focusing on the floor. She claims she dislikes foxes, but she's actually too ashamed to admit she just doesn't understand other foxes. She gets flustered extremely easily and will often respond to teasing or frustration by just pouting and running off. She may be quiet, but Myka feels intensely, and responds to her emotions without having a chance to filter out inappropriate responses. This means she's more prone to crying in anger, fleeing, or snapping when she's unsure what to do or flustered.
Once she warms up she can be a bit sarcastic and vaguely playful. It might be hard to see the tiny smiles or attempts to show kindness under her attempt to keep her usual quiet and uninterested attitude, but she slips up frequently. However, wrong her and Myka is quick to react in retaliation. She's a bit petty when genuinely angered, and has been known to react immaturely. She's still figuring out this entire controlling your emotions thing.
Myka's BCR was lost. Right before her parents died, they dropped her BCR, and thus she was raised separate from her sisters. Myka was instead picked up by a vain 'Phim who, at first, only picked her BCR up in hopes to have a child who'd adore her. Myka was a trouble child, however, and often was unable to express her love for her mother. In a fit of rage, the 'Phim grabbed her and abandoned her in a human village. Myka quickly fled and ended up raising herself.
She wandered for a few years, ending up finding an abandoned house and staying there for a bit. Luckily, Lora, one of her sisters, spotted the house and just had to explore it, ending up in the two meeting. Lora convinced Myka to meet Layla, and the three eventually confirmed that they must be sisters! Myka decided, after the meeting, to start traveling again in hopes to find the 'Phim who had attempted to raise her.

Soiree is basically the laziest fox you'll ever meet. She has no interest in moving and will probably sleep through just about anything. She'll get up to eat, maybe host one conversation, and then snuggle back into something warm to sleep. Try and move her and she'll just look at you with sad, wet eyes and then return to her sleep. She's truly a sight to behold in how absolutely lazy she is.
She can be a bit playful and friendly around her mate, but it's only a slight change. She is skilled with healing and will rouse to tend to someones wounds before drifting back to her slumber. She's dedicated to sleeping her life away!
Soiree grew up with her brother like any normal kid would, but eventually discovered she much preferred being asleep over anything else. Eventually, she ended up curling into a tree log while playing a game with her brother, and the two were separated.
She slept most of her life away, meeting Arenui simply because she was attacked by a larger animal. She began to find amusement in how grumpy he was and would tease him in-between naps, and eventually he housed her during a storm. She just... ended up never leaving and charmed her way into Arenui's heart. The two became mates, and now Soiree is often found sleeping against him.
