The ink demon began removing as much fur as possible. Then, he finely chopped up the meat into small chunks because he was planning to make a stew. With a stew, there could be questionable things in there and the judges wouldn't be able to tell as long as they don't get a spoonful of fur or something else, right? At least, that's what he hoped.

Quillan had the meat in chunks with water in a pot - now it was time to add some spices. He reached towards the spices and randomly picked one, tasting a bit by pouring some onto his hand and smelling it before putting a finger in the small puddle in his palm and tasting it. It seemed salty, which was how a stew, which was savory, should be, right? He poured some in. The next spice seemed to slide around in his hand, and he had no idea what it was, so he threw that in as well anyways. The last one was also salty and tasted like blood, and he didn't see any harm in tossing some of that in too. He stirred the mixture thoroughly.

Quillan took a ladle and scooped what looked like air (but really, it was just invisible) into three different bowls. He carefully carried them over to the judges, hoping he didn't spill any of it because he couldn't tell.

"I made a stew out of the Foxfox Invisible in my crate. I call it "Something Died in My Stew."

The boil thought he did pretty well, all things considered, but he couldn't help but notice a very pungent smell. Maybe it was the foxfox ... or the blood ...

Finally, it was time to plate. Hanna first measured out the mashers into one of the circular metal things, which was helpful in a time like this. The meat went on next, resting on top of the mashers, and finally the crisp pan fried veggies. A spoonful of sauce artfully went over the top and the ring was removed.

The plate looked... empty, so Hanna assumed it was looking ok if he could see it. Picking it up, he confidently carried it to the front, placing it down without a problem. He was immensely proud, glad that he had managed to do this without making a huge mess or causing a problem.

"Hello!" He grinned, "Today I made for you a deconstructed Shepard's pie with luck dragon, mashers, tearjerkers, and bad for your eyes. It's a little spicy, but not too much of a kick I hope. Enjoy!"

At least if he was eliminated from the competition, he was proud of what he had made.

Carlos was careful with his mini. It squirmed a bit but he did not let it go. First he killed the thing and then slowly pulled out out teeth and claws. What was he working with? Carlos leaned down and sniffed. It smelled... like ferret. There was this furry stuff on the end. Which he removed. Huh... and then scaly. Was that a shimmer?

Carlos Took the organs out, he hopped and then put the thing into a pot. He let it cook a bit before deboning. There that should do it. Carlos looked around and watched someone drop their whole plate. This was much harder than he thought. Carlos was a lazy cat, maybe he should just give up. it was fun when there was color and strange ingredients but less fun when you couldn't see anything. It smelled ok but needed spices. Very much needed spices.

Carlos tasted a spice. Mmm this was good. He just grabbed two. Sweet was always a good touch to a food. it was a bit sticky though. Carlos sniffed the air. oh oily. This would help a bit with that. Carlos took the oil and put it over his meat and then added the sweet to it, just dousing it in sweet sticky. He put it in the oven for a while to let it toast and get a slightly crunchy outside and then added even more sweet sticky stuff to it.

He thought it would be a little like sweet and sour bat wings or something. That was the idea he was going for. He liked sweet. It was hard though he wanted to see the food. His nose told him it would be good though. It twitched a bit in anticipation. He wanted to try it now.

Carlos was almost done. All he had to do was get it on the plate. He shimmied his food onto there. It didn't look like anything was falling off. His touched the edges of the plate. Yep he did good. The steam rose form the food and he sniffed it. It was good.

A little hand wave from behind the camera man caught Carlos's attention. Oh he was supposed to say something?

"Sticky sweet with a touch of oil
off the plate and in your belly,
a bit of crunch good for the mouth
and a..." Carlos lost himself how to explain? This didn't really rhyme, but he wanted it to rhyme. "Good for a bought." That was all.

Great. Now, on top of working with land-minis, he couldn't even see the critters he was working with. This competition just kept getting better and better.

Grabbing a box, he shoved his hand into it, chasing around whatever little thing was in there. He growled slightly, gripping whatever it was and trying to decipher the whatever it was's form.

The thing squirmed out of his hands and went back to rushing around inside the box. The thing's extra feet, he guessed it was feet, sure made it quick. He just wasn't sure this was what he wanted to deal with.

Dropping the box back onto the table, he grabbed another and reached his hand in, feeling around for whatever this next thing was. It had to be better than the last thing. Had to be easier to work with.

This whole thing was starting to get really frustrating for the serpent. As he grabbed the thing in the box, he couldn't be sure if the slime was from it or from himself.

With a growl, he shoved the box back onto the table and grabbed his last one. This was it. His last chance to get something decent to work with. Snorting, he shoved his hand in and wrapped fingers around the thing. No more playing around. He had to get this thing and get working.

Invisible... ingredients...? Now that was interesting. Ev wasn't at all put off by their new challenge, as sight wasn't anything she relied heavily on, especially considering she wore a mask at all times. Reaching in for her first ingredient, feeling something quite tiny... It had some sort of fur too, and... a sleek tail? interesting.

The ghoul reached in again to see what her second pick was, being a little careful of her touching. One didn't want to find themselves pricked by something unsavory, after all. However this time she was greeted with the sensation of smooth, sleek scales. That could definitely be something with a delicious, tender meat below.

With her final allowed try to decide just which ingredient she wanted to start with, Ev reached in a direction she hadn't prior, in hopes something new options wise might yield. Something that could sway her from already wanting to use her second pick. But she was surprised to find she felt something very similar to what she'd just stroked. More scales... These weren't as pliable though, making her think that this could be a more tougher meat. Not really something she enjoyed. And so with that, she went with her second choice to use.

With her invisible ingredient in hand, she worked on breaking it down, and prepping it for cooking. But... this turned out to prove more difficult than she'd originally thought... there were massive, strong wings that had to be clipped and pulled off, and her scaling skills weren't all that great... they were getting everywhere and she was cutting into the precious meat a bit too deep in some area's. If should could see it, she was certain that the thing would be a mess...
