Hijil stood there like an idiot, her fingers touching her lips, for a longer time than she would like to admit.

Then, the Arwa attacked Bhima, and she had to react, though she wanted to stay in the afterimage of that moment forever.

"Bhima!" she called out, relieved when she saw her love, unharmed, safe ... She took Bhima's hand, attempting to help her up.

"Bhima, I..." she turned to face the beast, "I love you too."

It had to be said. Even here, it had to be said. "I'll love you forever." she braced herself for the beast's next attack, "No matter what happens here."

Iroia snickered as Kiyelt hit the armor and dug of of her blade in a c***k hitting thick skinned flesh before pulling out and prancing away. The hit had felt solid and she couldn't help but preen a bit. As yet uninjured and doing well in the battle much better then last time she faced these beasts. In hindsight arwa seemed like such a short name, it should be fantastically long to indicate the size and fierceness of the beasts.

"Nice hit!" Ruelash crowed gleefully, watching the spray from Iroia's attack spatter beautifully against the Tale grass.

He leapt forward and dug his blades into the arwa's shoulder, ripping them out with a nasty grin.

Ceyede found herself in awe at the creatures before her, she had never seen such behemoth tromp the earth; it had almost seemed unreal, but the impact the creature created when stomping the earth certainly brought things into perspective for her.

Dusting herself off she took the bow she had received in the camp and drew an arrow from her quiver. She and her father had practiced with a bow, a spear... her atlatl... But it was clear her weapon of choice was useless against this monster. stringing the arrow she pulled back and took aim, 'Lets see how much I've picked up...' she thought as she held her breath, and keeping both eyes open she aimed high and released. She watched as the arrow soared through the air and met just behind the creatures head; in the neck.

The beast snarled and shook its head violently, the arrow had made contact, but hardly had an effect... In fact She's pretty certain she only upset it further. It was clear to her it was going to take more than a few arrows to take down this beast.

The first beast was slowing dramatically from the constant bombardment. Blood began pouring down the limbs and across the stomach of the great creature. Between its labored breaths it trudged on at the crack of its masters whip and tripped and staggered about the battlefield. If it managed to land any attacks it was accidental or a stroke of luck.

The other Arwa was clearly distressed at the health of its partner, but do to the massive blows it sustained trying to pick up the others’ slack it too began to slow a great deal. Lowering its head it charged from zone four to two trying to take out as many as it could before its body gave out leaving it to skid across the earth. Once its mass came to a rest it struggled back to standing and proceeded to thrash about in Zone two in hopes of drawing the attention from its partner.

The General watched as all her achievements began wasting away on the battlefield. It was like watching a mass genocide in slow motion. The vanguard was wiped out faster than she had ever anticipated, the prisoners escaped, the Arwa were acting strangely… Their luck had taken a turn for the worse; it would be so easy to just point the finger at the Captain and let him take the fall for his incompetence, but it was her decision to leave him in charge… Letting out a sigh she rubbed her temples; they were clearly not going to be victorious, and it would be a miracle if her reputation survived this battle.

Drawing her weapon she directs the remaining few of her personal guard forward into battle, “To arms; we will take these lands or we die trying.” Her entourage drew their weapons and prepared their charge when one glanced back, “Ma’am, There’s a banner on the horizon… The royals?”

“Great…” She seethed. Now wasn’t exactly the time for them to decide to show up; especially with the turn of events. Surely they had passed through the destroyed camp on the way here; there was no hiding it, she had failed to bring about the kings vision. "To battle, men! May the Gods let us redeem ourselves."

One could tell at a glance that the large monsters that the Obans had brought with them were weakening. It was a good thing, Rishi knew this, though he also knew that it wasn't happening fast enough. He could see that another group of Obans had arrived and were attacking. Not good, before they had been quick to deal with the vanguard so as not to end up in this sort of situation. To deal with both giant enemies that caused a lot of damage and Obans foot men that could overwhelm in great numbers, it was a threat to them. Still, he couldn't let that get to him, he had to keep himself focused on the battle at hand. The sooner they were able to defeat the arwa the sooner they could focus on these new comers.

Tightening his grip on the haft of his spear Rishima moved forward using an attack that was at the same time almost like a dance, one that allowed him to push himself to move faster then he normally could. The tip of his spear struck deep into a weak spot on the Arwa's hide, causing a fount of blood to spill forth. Above him he heard the creature roar in pain, something that said he'd done well with that last strike. A part of him didn't care for having to kill these creatures, they were only following orders after all, but it was something they were forced to do. It was the choice of the Obans to bring them here after all, their deaths would be on the heads of their masters.

Taking a couple bouncing steps back Rishima let his mismatched eyes move between his enemies, getting a feel for where they all were as well as the condition they were in. The arwa would fall soon, then only the Obans would remain.
