Feathers tied in a ribbon. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Cresting the hill with silent footfalls, the mare was finally under the clear view of the night sky. She sighed in relief, having feared that the forest around her would obscure this chance with their dark branches. But there were still many hours before day break, and so she glanced around calmly in search of the rumored star. It didn't take long, with its odd glow illuminating the sky brighter than the rest. Placing her offering on the ground before her hooves, Setsumi bowed her head with a whisper. "Please Wishing Star, accept this humbling offering in my hopes to one day cross paths with my mother once more. My brother and I wish to know if she is still alive, and if so....why she had left us when we were just baskets. It would put an end to so many of our questions."

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A few feathers and a couple beads from Kayo, and a bit of Fur and a Horn Impression from Argyris. Short IC Response: Argyris followed Kayo up the hill, they were both careful to not step or disturb any other offerings, or anyone else that was there making their wish. They had longed for a foals of their own. He was determined to do whatever was necessary for Kayo to have the foals she had been longing for. He knew how much this meant to her. How much she wanted to be a mother. She was just that way. She was serene, gentle, and the best mare he could hope for. He looked up to the stars.
'If you are listening, please let my heart carry these words....' He thought to the stars. He knew Kayo would be making a wish of her own, they were wishing for the same thing, they both wanted foals. His mind wondered to the foals he had pictured in his mind. He looked forward to teaching them the ways of the forest, and watching them grow up. He was especially looking forward to the days when he could stand beside them and just be the father they were proud of. '...please....please give us the chance to have foals of our own...' he bowed his head to the stars. He knew that there was a small chance that his wish would be granted, and he only hoped that theirs would be heard. He hoped with all his heart as he looked over to Kayo and followed her back down the hill. His eyes intent on her. He wanted this for her, and for them. It was something they both wanted more then anything. Neither of them had spoken. It was a sacred area and they thought it best not to disturb anyone there. Mariketa visions had let her know that tonight was the time when the heavens granted the wishes of soq from throughout the lands. The night air still held the heat of the humid day but slowly the heat would fade away in the night darkened hours. Carefully she made her way to a nearby hilltop. The walk up has calmed her nerves and centered her courage. Mariketa knew that she needed to ask if she didn't then her wish would have no chance to flourish. "Miracles are a rare and seldom given. They seem like fairy tales the stories we tell foals so they still believe in hope and believe that good always defeats evil. I want a 2nd chance at motherhood. This time I want to teach my offspring to be strong but i wish for them to retain their innocent nature longer. Anansi and Victor are a match made in...well not heaven, but if there was some creepy place where matches were made to last they would be there. The two are not just lovers, but best friends, often complimenting one another where the other may lack in certain areas of life. All in all, the two want nothing more than to be fathers; even if at the beginning it was for Anansi to show he would make a better father than his brother who he's rivaled with his entire life - it has always been the desire to share their love and lives with tiny hooves. Anansi brings with him Red Raspberry leaves on a branch. A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Keir Drexel Airay  Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: "I'm terribly conflicted, confused about who I am and what is right from wrong. I try my best to do what I think is right and make others happy but I'm not so sure that I'm doing it anymore. I'm finding myself faced with anger, hatred, sorrow and pain because of choices I've made or failed to make." Silver bangs covered his amber eyes as he looked down at the ground, it felt good to let it out but it wasn't going to solve anything. "I think I could use a friend, someone who can help guide me and teach me whats truly right and wrong. I need an outside eye, they won't know the situation or my family and I think above all else..that is what I need most right now." Elsa looked up towards the stars as she noticed the one brighter gleam. She remembered her sister telling her about the Wishing Star and how it would grant requests if the spirits deemed you worthy enough. "Dear wishing star, I do not believe I am in a position to ask for help but I would give anything in the world to learn how to control my powers." She dug her hoof into the softly fallen snow around her, remembering her sister and how she was hurt. "I do not have a gift that would be a valid exchange but..." Using her hooves and nose to manipulate the snow, with a little bit of magic, she piled up the snow and formed it into a round-ish shape. With a care born of practice the round pile became a small snowman and a breath of magic covered him in small icicles and gave him a shimmer look to prevent him from melting in the sun's when it rose. "I hope this little snow man will be fun the gaze upon and maybe you can persuade the spirits to send me someone to protect and help me on my journey. Thank you kindly." With that she turned, flicking out her tail behind her; the snowman left behind to gaze upon the starry night sky.

Thiel hesitantly walks to the top of a hill where she can see the star. "I have never met my brother. Those who had the keeping of me told me he was dark, twisted, an abomination. But I have come to understand they cared more for their purposes than for me. Since our parents died before we were born at the start of a great war, I believe each side of the conflict took a basket. We were the children of the heirs of both herds. I fear the fighting will never truely end if we do not come together. For together we may be able to unite the fractured lands.". She sighs and begins to turn away before she stops. "And I do want a brother, family. I don't care if he is as dark as they say, he is the only family I have. Even if we can't stop the fighting, we could leave and start anew somewhere else, somewhere we can find peace. That . . . That is my wish. To have family. To have peace. To have love." A lock of hair and a piece of bark from a birch tree. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Unetsiwa always knew she wasn't alone. The mare never knew her oarents but when she was younger she had a little sister. She always took care of her but during a particularly bad storm they became separated. Ine never saw her again but knew she was alive. "Please. Please just tell me that she is happy." Unetsiwa laid down the offering. "This is to symbolize she and I. We both loved the birch because the markings looked so much like us." With that the mare turned and left, hoping for a sign. Some fallen leaves she gathered earlier today. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Hollie reached the edge of the forest and peeked out from behind an oak tree. The night was cool; it was getting slowly cooler as the leaves started to change colour and begin to fall from the trees. Her green eyes looked around once more for any signs of danger before trotting away from the forest she lived in. She continued trotting until she found a good place to lay down in the meadow. Once settled, Hollie turned her head towards the sky and searched for that bright star she saw once before. Someone she briefly met once had mentioned to her that this particular star could grant wishes. Hollie wasn't sure if she really believed that a star could have this power, but, she wanted to try regardless. "Hello Star. I am Hollie.....ah........." she paused as she considered what to say. "I live in the forest behind me where I tend to it and care for any of the other inhabitants that require help." Nevena never understood why she was so willing to help everyone, especially when she busy with other tasks. It was just the right thing to do. She had always been like that, caring for her mom when she ill and her younger brother...... "Wishing Star, I come to you this autumn night to ask of you........" she paused again, what should she say? "I.....miss my younger brother very much. "Most of my family has animal companions of some sort. My mother has a true familiar in her goat Gaul. My father has spiders that follow him around and listen, for the most part, to what he says and my sister's snake is much like our fathers spiders as he is not a true familiar. I hope to find my own animal companion as well and was hoping you would help me find them. I know there is one out there somewhere for me, I just haven't found them yet." He paused before inclining his head. "Thank you star." Short IC Response: It had been months now since Ethan had found her bloodied and confused without even a memory of her own name. The time had allowed for her wounds to heal, but the memories hadn't returned. Ethan and his herd had been very kind and accepting of her, but there was something at the back of her mind that told her this was not where she belonged. This was not her family. She knew she had one of her own out there somewhere. She couldn't remember their names or faces, but they were there. It was just a matter of finding them. And that's where the star came in. Gethen, her familiar and the only connection she had left to her past, had scoffed when another herd member had mentioned the wishing star. And really, it was rather a ridiculous thought. Asking a star to give you a friend or a child. Or reunite you with family. But Branwen still wished to try, and it was obvious the owl was holding back skepticism when she told him so. Now he flew alongside her as they climbed the hill to make an offering. She was quite impressed, and thankful, that he hadn't even once expressed how absurd this was. As the two of them reached the crest of the hill, Branwen carefully pulled a single bell from the scarf around her neck. She placed it on the altar with the other offerings, finding some comfort in the quiet sound it made. It felt like a significant gesture. Bells were important to her, though she was never sure why. They put her mind at ease. Perhaps it was a fragment of her forgotten life. Releasing a tense breath, she turned her gaze to the star, "Family. That's all I want. All I'm asking for. Please..." The stray hair of a random Soquili he came across and his own. Short IC Response: Dally moved along the hill in a slow movement. His parents recently had a child, and this left him desiring one of his own. He had no mate, and his luck with women made it where he likely would not have one any time soon. His ears folded against his head as he walked slowly to where the alter was. There he laid a few strands of hair that he had found along with his own hair he had collected. Maybe the owner of this additional hair would make a fine partner. Dally did not care how evil or good the owner of this hair was, for Dally had no concept of evil or good, we all do what we are meant to.
"Star, please grant me a foal so that I too may raise a family. It is the only thing that I desire to truly make my life complete. I have desired to have a family of my own for some time.
