Corvus grinned a little wider, heading to his own Battlesuit; it seemed to swallow him up, and then he followed after her. Gizmo rolled his eyes at their blatant flirting before pressing a few buttons; the platform glowed, and suddenly the two found themselves in the outside world, the aforementioned outpost in sight while at the same time being far enough that their presence wasn't noticed yet.

Melody switched to soldier mode. Without thinking, a sniper gun appeared in her hands. She had her suit zoom in on the outpost. The soldier walked a little closer and hide in the trees. She settled in to a tree. Her lens in the suit marked all of the Abyssians in sight. Her gun was pointed at one that looked like the head soldier at the outpost.

The Abyssian in question was in a Soldier-class battlesuit, and didn't seem to have detected Melody or Corvus yet. Meanwhile, Corvus silently snuck into the base and waited in the shadows for Melody to fire the opening shot, the hands of his battlesuit shifting into claws as the suit shifted to become more streamlined, the usual "wings" sprouting from its shoulder blades. He then allowed himself to become fully immersed the Abyssian mentality, becoming cold, calculating, and ready for war - all he was waiting for was for Blue Flare to fire the first shot.

Melody trusted Corvus to be in his position by now. She took aim and her gun charged. True to her suit's name, the shot fired blazed off like a blue flaming comet going at top speeds. The Abyssian she aimed for only had a minute to see the shot before being incinerated by the shot. Melody smirked before started to rapid fire at the outpost. She sent the info on where she was shooting at to Corvus so that he can avoid getting hurt. She didn't want their date getting cut off because she had to save his a**. Melody blushed before smiled softly thinking about that.

Meanwhile, down below Corvus exploded into a blur of action; the heightened speed and reflexes his stolen Battlesuit gave him coupled with the information Melody was constantly sending him let him weave through the ranks of the Abyssians, in many cases slaughtering them before they even realized he was there and keeping them from figuring out where the mysterious sniper was shooting from. Oddly enough, a lot of his kills seemed to consist of ripping out the optical sensors first before killing them as quickly and silently as possible - when coupled with the wings, that was likely the cause of his suit's moniker of Death Crow, considering the bird in question's infamous eyeball-eating tendencies. On a completely unrelated note, the warrior in him was rather impressed by Melody's accuracy, while his inner sex-starved male actually found the idea of Melody with a gun to be rather sexy for some bizarre reason.

Melody watched Corvus in action. She had a heart stopping moment when she saw he was about to be attack from behind. Quickly, she aimed for the attacker before firing at all of the Abyssians surrounding him. It was a literal bomb fire around Corvus. Melody moved on to destroying the building around the outpost.

Not to be outdone, Corvus let loose dozens of razor-sharp metal "feathers" from his wings, which sliced deep into the hulls of nearby Abyssian suits... and then exploded for good measure, taking out armed and unarmed troops alike. He then repeated this on the outpost itself, the feather-bombs seeming to seek out all the weakest points in the buildings that made it up and detonating, bringing the structure down at a rapid pace and either flushing out or crushing any survivors of the initial joint assault.

Melody stood up from the tree. Wings appeared on her back as her sniper gun turned in to a sword. The soldier flew off to the smoking outpost to finish dispatching the rest of the Abyssians. Her suit marked where Corvus was. Melody moved in that direction as she flew in low to pick off the other survivors. "You almost done on your side?" She called out as she cleared her side.

Corvus's answer was to appear behind Melody, ripping off the arm of the mech that had been about to kill her before slamming the limb through the enemy Battlesuit like a spear... or a massive spike, since that was what the robotic limb had attached to it. "Yep, I got 'em," he told her. "Need any help?"

Melody smiled before walking up to his Battlesuit. She had arms circle him. The soldier gave him a hug before shooting two behind him. "I think we're done here." She said pulling back to look up to him. "So is there any thing you usually do on a date? I haven't really been on one." Melody said embarrassed.

You could almost hear Corvus opening his mouth to answer, then closing it. "...Honestly, I've never been on a date either - me and the other guys generally avoid human settlements, for obvious reasons," the boy admitted sheepishly, referring to his and Gizmo's non-human appearance and Hood's blatant bloodlust; the first two would probably get shot on sight and the last one would likely start a slaughter once he got bored. "On top of that, I'm pretty sure there's no fancy restaurants or movie theaters around here, so the typical date options are probably out. Maybe we could fly around and make small talk... or maybe have a spar or something...?" After all, he'd heard you could learn more about a person in a fight than you could with small talk... or something like that, since he was probably mangling the saying.

Melody raised her eyebrow. "We've already sparred but not in our suits." She said walking away from the smoking outpost. She made sure to walk a certain way that she has seen models do. She turned her head to look at him, "Want to try it out with the agreement of no serious damage to the suits?" She asked thinking up a sword in her hand.

Naturally, that had Corvus's eyes glued to her a**, brain supplying a rather impressive mental image of how she was likely moving inside the suit at that moment; hell, she could probably feel him staring, he was watching her so intently. So much so, in fact, that he didn't realize that his battle suit had shifted slightly to match his physique underneath his clothes (minus naughty bits, obviously) in a subconscious attempt to similarly show off. Still, when he saw her turn to look at him he hastily realized what he was doing and moved his eyes back up to above neck level, answering, "Sounds like a plan. Non-lethal equipment only, then?" After all, Battlesuit weapons weren't exactly for a nonlethal spar - the only exception tended to be those suits geared more toward capture than actual battle, and even then they still did a fair amount of damage.

Melody smirked inside her suit seeing how Corvus had shifted himself to present his body. Though that did get her interested in him. She also enjoyed that he was staring at her a**. "That sounds good." She said making her sword more duller on the edges. The soldier swung out at her opponent getting the match started. She ran up close to Corvus to punch him in where his solar pelvis would be.

Corvus grinned, ducking under the sword swing before grabbing her fist. He then proceeded to lash out with an attack of his own, claws blunted as he similarly went for the solar plexus. He felt the same rush he always did when fighting a worthy opponent, grinning like a maniac in his Battlesuit.
