It was nice to see the kitsune return -- unfortunate to see her lose yet again. Some of these creeple just were not very tough. Maybe he should have some rubber gloves to help --

Tough in the same way that the two next creeple were. Both were repeats, but only one had managed to win before. The other, a ... jiang-shi? Was new. He grinned. "Congratulations to you both! Have a ticket."

"I'm back." Nova gave a wave to the lightning elemental. "Ready to put these poles to use?" The joke was, yeah... insert any number of bad puns about his race and poles. Nova shook his hands and took up the two metal rods. Yep another bad pun flitted through his head, Nova bit he tongue, where was his mind today? "Yowch!" He dropped the first one only moments after the electric surged through it. His other hand lasted past the timer, but it was still stinging when he let go. "Ah. Ow."

At the incubus' joke about putting "these poles to use," Ignatius snorted. He could certainly appreciate a good bad double entendre, and he almost wanted the other boil to win just for it.
Unfortunately, he did not, and Ignatius shrugged. "Sorry! I suppose you'll have to come back and put them to better use tomorrow," his voice was sing-song until it got overtaken with a laugh.
While the kitsune had no luck, there was someone who had no luck before finally starting to have some! "Congratulations! Have a ticket." He winked. "Maybe you'll do even better later!"

Quillan tentatively reached for the handles. He was sure being shocked wasn't a pleasant experience, but he was worried the shock would have lasting effects on his hands. However, he only felt a slight tingle from the handles. Maybe whoever was handling the machine was being really nice?

So she went to try another booth, but it turned out to be the same fate, no treat but shock. Regarding last time the game runner found helpless when she yelped, the ghoul bit her lips not to make any sounds until the pain was gone. Quote: < or = 100: You lose. Get some toughness and try again tomorrow!

More returned customers: namely, the shadow ghoul from before who had so much trouble with his game, and the ink ... reaper? demon? The elemental sometimes had trouble keeping those two things apart.
Much to his amazement, another boil finally won the minipet! When he saw how long the ink demon was able to tolerate it before letting go, he let out a victorious whoop, immediately going to get the minipet and handing it off. "Congratulations!" offered Ignatius, excitedly. "You did so well you earned both a minipet and a ticket!" Right, ticket. He handed that to the ink demon as well.
Unfortunately, the shadow ghoul did not have as much luck, but at least she didn't seem to be in such significant pain this time. That was good. Must have meant she was building up those electric muscles to show her toughness.

Refreshed again after his nap, the very first thing he did was make his way back to the electric shock booth. He was going to figure this out, alright. He was going to figure this out. He wasn't mad at the elemental running the booth--he even gave him another nod and bit of a smile in greeting--but there was considerably more determination in the set of his jaw when he re-approached and grabbed hold of the two rods.
His left hand was jerked back instantly, and his right was only able to hold on for a precious few moments before it, too, was pulled away. What even was going on with this? Were the repeated attempts lowering his resistance to the shocks? That wouldn't make any sense. Maybe it was the napping? Should he be not napping? Stepping out of the way of anyone else coming up behind him, he furrowed his brow and looked down at his hands. Hm. Hmm. Well, he wasn't going to be able to figure it out standing there.
So, with a nod in thanks to the elemental, he headed off to see what else he could occupy himself with in the meantime.

Today he just wasn't any good at holding the rods. Perhaps his claws were still sore from yesterday, as when he grasped them he immediately let go due to the pain.

Ooh, a test of skill. Rafael wasn't quite sure this was safe, but hey, it sounded fun? Except, ouch! He dropped the rod from his left hand almost immediately. His right managed to hold on for a while, but certainly not long enough. He shoved his stinging hands in his pocket and slunk out.

He hadn't necessarily gone too terribly far when he'd left this booth, but he was definitely up for trying yet again, especially after that run he'd completed on that giant wheel. That had been a great feeling, even if certain instincts had been unhappy about being chased. And he was going to win this shock one eventually. He was. He was. Alright, maybe he wasn't, but that wasn't going to stop him from trying! And he wasn't going to nap first, this time, either.
He stepped up, gave the glowing freckled operator a grin, and tried again. Even if he failed again this time, at least he was having fun, right? And even though he did fail again this time, he was still having fun, even if he had to bite back another string of impolite words as he vigorously rubbed his palms up and down his arms. Unable to help a bit of a laugh at himself, he declared he'd be back and got back up.

Maybe she wasnt meant to stand the shock. At least it wasnt as bad as yesterday's shock. She shook her hands of the numbness and walks to the next booth. For sure she'll try again tomorrow
