Hotaru pushed his hair back. "I'm thinking of going home. I'll tell my aunt where my cousin is." His eyes closed. "Or wait for cousin to get done. I haven't decided yet."

"Ah well..."Sada's eyes went to the sky, and he blinked. The sun was already begining to set! "Hotaru-san, I must get home or my mother'll tan my hide! Ja Ne*!" The raven haired Gehaka set off for his home on the outskirts of the city at a full run, avoiding others. *see you later

"Ja Ne.*" He called back, and went back to the shop to keep an eye on his cousin. It was a little irrating for him to wait for his tomboyish cousin to leave the shop. He wanted to go back to his Aunt's manner and sleep. *See you latter.

Shadow_windstars "Sato Capek," he said, tasting the words, a strange name but very orginal. His glaze ran over Capek taking the Gehaka in. He was rather handsom. "An apprentice is not much to go on. What do you actually do? Do you mold the clay?" He questioned, lifting up the cup to examine it closer.
He knew what an apprentice was; he had watched his brother work the forge from a young age. Cleaning, lifting, basicaly the grunt work of the operation fell onto the apprrentice. Things that a Haka couldn't physicaly do, because they where not built for such manual labor. "Occasionally," Capek answered with a slight shrug, eyeing the cup in the Haka's hands thoughtfully. "My brother does much of what my mother does not," -- only because he was too clumsy for anything else. Strange how the younger Gehaka could be perfectly suited to molding clay figurines and shaping plates, but be so horribly inept when it came to manual labor; should have been born a Haka, that one. -- "The rest I take care of. Firing things in the kiln, cleaning. Setting up shop in the mornings. Mother's family isn't exactly large enough to allow otherwise, though his Gehaka occassionally help about the shop."
Though, most of those were ill-suited to the delicate trade of ceramics. Ah well, Capek enjoyed the work for the most part.
((Sorry for taking so ridiculously long. >_o; ))

Shinku hmm thoughtful and set the small cup down."Do you truly enjoy your work?" He ran his fingers across the other feeling the glazed clay for small imperfections that could not be seen. His jade glaze ran to the small figurines, and he strolled over to the table. "The cups are well made. Have you ever had a chance to create them?"
He turned; his deep glaze focusing on the Gehaka. Shinku was perfectly silent, just waiting for the other to speak.

Petite Kitsune Seichou couldn't help it: he felt like a miserable -leech- of a friend, and he swallowed hard, nodding. "That sounds delicious," he said, meaning it, though his words were colored with his unhappiness at his own dire financial straits. "Maybe... maybe I'll pay you back someday."
Enju grinned. He was naturally a generous person by nature. He wanted little and needed even littler. He caught the the tinge of unhappiness in his voice and understood it instantly. He leant in close, touching foreheahds with me and wearing the biting charming smirk.
"Ah, don't worry about it, I'd love to treat you to lunch."

It seemed that Enju had an absolutely -amazing- knack for making Sei blush, and he let out a small squeak, feeling a little hiccupping bubble in his stomach. He nearly -giggled-. "Then... if you're sure, yes... sushi sounds positively delicious," he said with a genuine, sweet smile that made his grey eyes shine.

Enju enjoyed the affect he was having on Sei and the affect he was having on himself. He was flirtatious by nature and he found the little Gehaka very fun to make uncomfortable. His narrow orange eyes closed in a grin and he pulled back, for he probably would have given Sei a quick kiss on the cheek, or somewhere, just for fun.
"Alright then, there's a nice place just around here."

"Okay," Sei replied with a sweet, shy smile. He kept close to the other, enjoying his company more than he would admit. "What kind is particularly good from there?" he asked shyly. "I've only ever had sushi that my mother's husband made..."

Capek peered blankly back at the caramel haired Haka. Did he? Mostly he did, he supposed. Besides, it wasn't as if he really had a choice in the matter, now was it? Finally, he nodded absently, unconsciously tucking his arms behind him in order to pick at the clay on his forearms without being obvious about it.
"Yes, I do enjoy it. Most of it, anyway. Frankly, cleaning the kiln is a real bi--uh. I enjoy it, Hishiron-sama."
He unravelled his arms again, shooting a quick glance in the direction of the shop's back door. Where was that slacker of a brother? Hadn't he said he'd be in the shop to cover him while he went for lunch? Botheration. Shaking his head faintly, Capek glanced back to Hishiron.
"Not so much; mother says my hands are too clumsy for it. I'm ocassionally allowed painting them, though I'm afraid my touch for that isn't exactly precise either."
At least Mother had his otherwise useless brother to be helpful with that aspect of the shop.

Enju itched at his chin, draping his arm around Sei again and starting to lead him to the sushi place. He narrowed his eyes thoughtfully, giving his wings a slight shiver. He was now getting a bit more, or too, comfortable that he leant his head on his, being so tall he was able to.
"I like the eel myself, but everything is reall good! What's your favorite kind of sushi?"

Shinku covered his mouth with his hand and gave a small giggle as the Gehaka nearly swore. He had heard that word before. His brother had uttered that and more when the forge work had gone wrong. "You do not have to censor you words. I have heard more then that from my brother." He placed the cup back down.
"Sometimes small mistakes give an object personality. Perfection can lead to replacation." He paused; his ears twitching back. "Are you alright you seem a bit neverous." The Gehaka seemed on edge.

Capek grimaced slightly, shrugging one shoulder. "Mother doesn't like it when I swear," he explained easily. "He'd find out." Somehow. He always managed to. It was downright creepy, really... Maybe the Haka had some magical powers he used to spy on his sons. --More likely his brother was just ratting him out.
Shrugging, he returned to scratching at the dried clay on his forearms. Pick, pick, pick. There was only a little bit left there on his wrist... "Not nervous, just a little -- you'll excuse me, please -- hungry. My brother's supposed to be here soon to watch the shop so I can go get something to eat." He hesitated, clearing his throat. "Not that I'm in a hurry or anything, Hishiron-sama, so please don't feel rushed or anything." Er. He sounded like a moron.

Shinku jaded eyes flickered. His mother seemed to always find out if he was practicing with his tessen fan, or doing a behavor labeled unseenly by the other Haka. "Mothers seem to have that gift of always finding out."
Shinku shook his head. "I do not feel rushed. I have to be takeing my leave as it is." His mother would not be pleased if he returned late. Well his mother was never pleased it seemed. "Perhaps I will see you tomorrow." The haka smiled before leaving the shop. Capek was an intresting Gehaka. He would have to return.

"Sea urchin," Sei admitted in a tone of longing. "It was mother's leftovers, but I think it was terribly expensive." He had begun to wonder if his cheeks would ever be cool again; the other's proximity made his face do strange things that involved turning colors and heating to approximately the temperature of the sun. Perhaps it was just that Sei hadn't been touched very much in a good way all his life. "But I like it all. Crab, and such..."
