Now it was time to reinforce the Library. "Listen up folks, you guys are off to defend the Library. This is very serious buisness." Stryke added giving each a very incredibly eerie stare as if piercing this information into everytroll of the 10 to be sent off. Clearing his throat after the awkward moment passed. "Alright, you know your assignments. Head to [3,3]. Dismissed!" He mumbled entrusting what base they'd managed to establish to these trolls and the extra fortification on each location (thank you Ganyma), it was mission critical to make footholds afterall.
Especially ones as majestic and historic as the old building.
Perhaps he was working just a little harder to protect it that he had other locations thus far. Besides his own Hive he spent just about as much time at the building.

Hearing the latest data about the mall being attacked, Stryke was quick to act, rushing outside and pointing to 10 individuals. "You there, get your a** down to [2,6]! Thats the Daylight Mall. Now! Before they destroy our base!" He barked ushering trolls from the gathering at City Hall, off to protect one of their bases.
With a little bit of luck, and timing the soldiers would buy them some more time with that particular base.

Stryke had done enough sitting around he finally had just wanted to get out and about and stretch his legs. While he'd found the rail station before, he set out for another portion of the map stumbling across a rebel base. None of it was entirely amazing information but it still gave them bonus areas to interact with, and potentially mobilize from if needed depending on the situation.

The team had split up for the night. Hearing over the radio that forces had been sent to take out the Luxary Docks, Kursha decided to join them. He hung back however until the fighting finished and the last of the royalists fled. “Cowards,” he spat. If he had brought his rifle with him, he was certain he could have taken one or two out. As it were, he had nothing but dynamite and he risked blowing his own team to smithereens.
Kursha laid a stick at the royalist base. It had been put together so quickly that it likely would not survive even one blast.

Though the Luxury Docks were destroyed, Kursha had bigger fish to fry. Or rather hills. Specifically Swiftscale Hill. The district had been a hub for empire troops since the beginning of the conflict. It was time to knock it out. “Hey friends!” Kursha said into his radio. “How do you feel about Swiftscale Hill? Not great? Too bad, we're taking it out. Report to 3,5 immediately.”

Kursha gave the troops barely enough time to move out from the base, before he hurled a lit stick of dynamite. “Anyone else in there?” he called, smiling wolfishly. “If so, you better take cover because...” He was cut off by an angry bang. A column of flame rose up from the base.
“Oops! Sorry, I guess that was a little late for a warning~!”

Though a steady stream of smoke was rising from the base, it was still standing. Kursha grit his teeth. He was running low on explosives. He had not come this far to simply fall back. Seizing his radio, Kursha mashed the call button. “Requesting back-up at 3,5 for demolition. We've got their backs pressed to the wall!”

"This is Ganyma. Do what Kursha says." The radio clicked off. Ganyma held his face in his hands at City Hall. The tealblood had just gotten back to base. He was beyond understanding: directionless, shaken, he followed orders with quiet resignment. There was no way he'd go and blow the whole place up -- there was no way of knowing if there were innocents inside. Part of him was sick to his stomach to even relay the order. But at least he wasn't doing the damage.
That was Kursha. A pit welled in Ganyma's stomach. Kursha didn't know what he was doing -- was he aware that other kids were on the battlefield? Did he care? He'd ask him later. Ganyma couldn't sort it out in his head.

The action was a success. And it was Ganyma's call. He cupped his mouth in his hands. It wasn't right. But he had to go build. It was what he was good at.
And that's what he wanted, right? Infamy? To be desired for his skills? Absolutely. He took a deep breath and shakily rose from his seat. His job wasn't to destroy, it was to create, right? He was blameless, right? "It's not my fault. It's not my fault..." Ganyma repeated. He'd think it over and over in his head as he built a base on Swiftscale Hill, replacing the royalist banner with grim acquiescence.

DAILY REFRESH!
It's a new day! While the Royalists struggle to keep their ground against the rebel threat, the rebels realize true danger in up close combat. Open fighting has ceased as the rebels decide on a sneakier strategy, and it seems as though the peak of the outward conflict has passed (hopefully).
With the capture of rebel trolls, many trolls within the Phoenix Initiative have realized the gravity of the situation. An impressive amount of coordination and resource pooling has established a new, simple form of cohesion and stealth between the rebels. In each rebel base, simple black hemoanonymous uniforms are given out. A simple mask accompanies the outfit, to hide the troll's face. A prototype outfit for the rebellion. Rebel trolls are encouraged to not be identified, and elude capture at all costs. A note on the attire reads: "Whatever happens after this conflict, if you're branded as a traitor, the worst will happen. For you, and for the rebellion. Keep your identity safe. Protect yourself.
Today's Happenstance: A rogue Surf Gang has taken coordinate [6,6], The Bungalows. These gnarly trolls are not only radical, but have stocked their stores with enough goods to last through an apocalypse! It's a party over there! Building a base on The Bungalows will reward double points and cannot be attacked today.
Members of the Royalist Teams can roll 1D6 once every hour in the Coastal Base thread to assist the wounded in the medical bay. The corresponding number will subtract from the number of wounded, and at 0 this effect will go away. If a 6 is rolled, a new action can be taken. These posts must be accompanied by RP text.
There is a medical station set-up at the rebel base, for those who would like additional RP in the Wooded Sanctuary.
Each troll is refreshed and ready to go with 2 available actions.
Refreshers: POSSIBLE ACTIONS ARE:
Build: Roll 1D6 to build on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the durability of the base. You can also build on friendly bases to add durability, up to a maximum of 30 durability. You cannot build on a coordinate that already has an enemy base on it. Trolls with training in Construction get a bonus to their roll: Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6
Rally: Roll 1D6 to organize defenders, which can be assigned to any coordinate you have unlocked. The roll result determines the amount of defenders you have rallied. Defenders will be on stand-by until you mobilize them. Defenders are the second level of defense that can be assigned to protect a base. You must use defenders to take out defenders if you want to demolish an enemy base! Trolls with training in Recruiting get a bonus to their roll: Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6 Demolish: Roll 1D6 to destroy a base on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the amount of damage done to the durability of the base. At 0 durability, the base is destroyed. You cannot demolish a base with defenders assigned to it. Trolls with training in Demolition get a bonus to their roll: Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6
Intelligence: Roll a new coordinate (2D6). If you roll a coordinate you have already unlocked, the roll is wasted. Trolls with training in Intelligence get a bonus to their rolls: Apprentice: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6) Journeytroll: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6); if at least 1 of the coordinates is not unique, re-roll 2D6 until a new coordinate has been unlocked. Master: Journeytroll effect OR select one new coordinate from another team and unlock it. You must post with roleplay in your own thread and the other team’s thread for this to take effect. Grandmaster: Journeytroll effect OR Master effect OR… Roll 1 coordinate (2D6). If your allies control the coordinate rolled: add 5 durability and 5 defenders to that coordinate (may surpass the maximum durability/defender limit by 5). If your opponents control the coordinate rolled: it loses 5 durability and 5 recruits (does not apply if the numbers would decrease past 0). You additionally unlock the coordinate.
Mobilize: Choose one of two options: 1. Send defenders from your stand-by or a friendly-base you control to any friendly-base on a coordinate that you have unlocked. 2. Assault an enemy-controlled coordinate that you have unlocked using defenders from a friendly base. Defenders must be deployed to a base before they can assault an enemy base and cannot attack directly from your standby.
POST IN THE WAR ROOM THREAD IF:
You build a new base on a coordinate You reinforce a friendly base You assign defenders to a base You assault a base You do damage to a base You destroy a base You use the Grandmaster Intelligence perk to affect a base
Stryke woke that evening back at their base at City Hall before dressing..and making his way out to go out into the field and see what he could fine. Perhaps it was because his teammates were out doing their best, and what was he doing but sitting comfortably at base. Forgetting to find anyone to tell, the yellowblood simply went looking for what he could find, donning a mask over his face recalling the debriefing and how seriously they'd taken masking ones identity. He hadn't taken that bit very seriously until now, and had to wonder if some how his radio transmissions had ever been intercepted?
It was bad enough they were using trolls of any and all ages..this whole war was bleak. Stryke's feet kept moving as he searched, looking for some semblance of hope. In his bleak state he realized he was just...wandering around places he'd already been. The rail station and mall were both locations he'd been too on the ground level in days past. Frowning he realized he really needed to keep looking, this didn't do them any good what so ever.

Need to roll for another using 2d6 !
Heading right of the rail station, Stryke realized he hadn't seen this particular rebel base down by the infamous bloodfest stage. More and more rebel bases kept being built, and having access to more defenders usually wasn't that terrible he supposed. Still, the yellowblood found himself sitting on the steps within the stage, chin in hand and simply staring into the night-sky gathering his wits before he made any further moves.

Stryke wanted to make one more sweep of the area before he focused on other tasks. As it was he wasn't entirely sure what he was searching for, just that his feet kept him moving and wandering around. He'd tried radioing Ganyma earlier, but hadn't heard anything. After his scouting was done..he'd have to try Kursha next.
It was fairly strange having suddenly having other trolls to consider. He'd been content with his mostly quiet hermit like existence until now. Now he was trying, again running towards a fate he wasn't sure he was equip to deal with on his own.
Finding the docks was at least in their control again, he kept going, wandering until he came upon a Loyalist base south of the Asylum. Lifting his radio he kept quiet watching over the area before retreating back to the library. "Yo, Detective. How's it going on your end." They weren't going to use their names over the air anymore, it was entirely too risky.

Kursha had spent the first half of the night zigzagging across the map tagging enemy bases. He had not really done any damage, but it was fun to rile up to the other side and watch them panic as they thought they were under attack. Besides the entertainment aspect, it had strategic value too. It kept empire cautious and on the defense.
He was skipping through the rail station, heading northwest when he heard Stryke's voice over the radio. “Hey Double 'O'!” he responded cheerfully. He slowed down to a walk. “Not bad, not bad! We've got them on the run now! I'm guessing the conflict will be over in a couple days. They can't take much more of this.” Kursha twirled a pendant he had looted from Swiftscale Hill the night previous, around his finger.
“It's kinda too bad though,” he continued. “I'll miss hanging out!” Of course, he was not really referring to 'hanging out'. They could easily arrange times to meet after the conflict.
“Anyway, you have any intel for me? I'm getting bored of guerilla fighting. I've been leading these assholes around on wild honkbird-hunts since sundown.”

Stryke's night wasn't getting much better with the snarky replies over the airwaves. Laughing softly he shook his head, slightly mildly annoyed when he commented on the guerrilla type fighting. "Dectective," He stated with a bored tone rolling his eyes despite it going unseen as they weren't in person. His tone was serious, lacking his sarcastic humor. "We only have so many choices with the forces at hand. It's working isnt it? Anyway, I just found the Aiguma Theatre at [2,2]. Its pretty littered with defenders, and their base looks pretty solid." The yellowblood didn't like the idea of hurting more people..causing more lives to be potentially injured. He closed his eyes sighing softly.
The comment about hanging out gave him pause. He actually managed to laugh. "Yeah I suppose. Despite the chaos, it's been fun hanging out." Even several foul moments on the other trolls part, it could have been worse. His tolerance for the other had improved as the days passed. Besides, Ryk would just go back to life as normal, and put this behind them once the war was over. It's not like he'd made it sound like he'd come greeting after the fact.
They were fighting for a common project. Who was to say anytroll would keep in contact when the missions were over. Ryk wondered if he was silly for having hoped otherwise. He put that thought to rest, not dwelling on it for the now. "Perhaps...do you figure it's a good target? You up for a little team work?" He let go of the radio button pacing as they talked waiting to hear back. He hated to cause more harm, but what choice did they have. The faster they worked, the sooner they could push for a decisive victory.
