There they were going now. Preacher probably shouldn't be fussing around like that considering how sick he appeared to be. But soon Shun was focusing on something else. The two bald men had appeared to stop the tussle. They were distracted. This was his chance. He got up and slipped back, not turning around just yet as he kept his gaze on the two big, burly, and bald men. Then, once he felt he was a good distance away, he turned on his heel and sauntered off, away from the bonfire.

What happened next would be in nightmares for years.
Out of the darkness came a dozen Baldy's. Each of them identical to the last. Each of them glowering at Shun with sunken eyes. Each of them equally as bald. This was no bonfire. This was no event for fun. Today was the day humanity received a grim reminder.
You could not run from the bald men.
Forming a wall in-front of Shun, they simply glared at him, challenging him. Waiting for him to try and move just a little closer. Were there more hiding? Were they an army of bald men? What were they?
Your worst nightmare.

Haha--okay no, this was going a little too far now, especially since neither Axel nor Preacher were exactly in best mental condition right now. Pushing himself up to his feet, Elliot lift his hands in front of him, palms out. "Okay you two," He drawled, taking a step towards them, "Let's cut that out now--"
Though perhaps he or someone else should have thought to step in sooner, namely before the bald twins decided to make a reappearance. Flinching when they suddenly appeared, the boy's brows creased as his lips pulled into a frown. Oh no. Ooooh no. "Hang on a second," He protested quickly, taking another step forward, "Look, they're just not thinking straight. One of them is sick, and the other--"
--He didn't even get to finish that sentence as the bald men proceeded to crack the quarreling pair's skulls together. With that, they--feeling quite satisfied if the high-five was of any indication, Elliot noted--turned to leave.
...Sigh. Waiting until they no longer seemed to be in sight, he moved over to where Preacher and Axel were, lips twisted into a grimace as he hovered over them. "I'm not even going to ask if you guys are alright, because I sincerely doubt you're feeling in tip-top shape after all that."

What happened next was not something Shun expected in the slightest. He was now staring at a wall of bald men. He stopped in his tracks, staring at them all. "...."He really wasn't sure what to make of this. And now he had a few options. He could just turn back and return to his seat or he could try and get around them still. For now he simply stood his ground, staring hard back at the gang of bald men, waiting to see what they would do first.

Preacher kicked wildly at the bald men but it was. no use. Her head collided with Axel's and they were dropped unceremoniously, to the ground. At least she had landed on something relatively soft. Axel groaned from beneath her and she shrieked. Immediately, she tired to push up, but vertigo swam across her vision and she collapsed again. One of his arms flopped across her. Besides, the counted as part of the debt repayment, right? He wanted a cuddle: here was a cuddle, even if it had been a painful journay. Haltingly, she poked at his face, hoping he was at least alive. Although, if he was dead, it would solve things. Preacher tried once more to stand and failed, simply sinking back down into his chest. At least it was warm. "Uhhhggnnn," She groaned, clutching her head. She reached out one hand to Alec, to Elliot, to anyone, but let it flop. Sickness, fighting, brutal crushing of heads. Today was not her day. ******** this whole event! And there, Preacher simply gave up and put her head down. Let Axel deal with this mess.

And there came his worse fear. The very thing he'd been joking with Elliot about, and had stared in the darkness in horror. Now there really WAS a pack of wild bald men watching them. Shrinking back a bit he stared from around Henrik in wide eyed horror. Could he just go back to sleep and undream these guys? Maybe...the ale had done it. God, eh was never going to drink again if this is the kind of crap that was going to happen. "I'm not sure I want to know..." He watched Shun, squinting in the dark almost wondering if he was imagining this. Quickly looking away staring ahead at the fire he was pretty sure if he sneezed wrong they would descend upon him. Instead he glanced up at his tall companion, giving him a sort of head tilt when he realized he was asking around for sweets. "I'll keep it in mind next time i see you." The red head quietly offered, making small talk with the gentle giant. Anything to distract himself from this eerie scene. "Preacher...Axel..Are um. You two alright." He peered over at them, trying to catch the boys hand as he reached out but then he was just there lying on Axel defeated and exhausted. It was sort of a stupid question, and he cringed a bit having witnessed them having their heads smashed together. Alec then looked to Elliot suddenly feeling rather guilty for even having joked earlier. "I wasn't serious.." he muttered dryly.

"Hoo boy. Heeere comes the cavalry!" She warned, somewhere between awe and worry, because oh mercy they were here. The two bald men marched towards the fighting pair and rather than break up Axel and Preacher, they grabbed them like ragdolls and smashed their heads together. Lloren paled. Somewhere in the back of her mind the memory of a neighbor's snotty little kid playing with dolls saying 'Now, kith' flashed by. Most of her mind, however, was preoccupied with checking if the two were still alive. "Preacher?! Axel??!" Lloren crouched down by their side, face pale with concern. At least they still sounded among the living. And then Shun's attempt at a getaway summoned a veritable troupe of big bald men. If the military recruited this family, the titans would stand no chance. Lloren's voice shot up two octaves and became soft. "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?" She turned her head slowly toward the bonfire. Did someone use the bonfire to incinerate a mound of illegal substances, by any chance? She looked back to Axel and Preacher, just in time to see her arm fall to the ground in a way that made Lloren grimace. "I think Preacher is in bad shape. Weren't they coughing earlier? We need a nice quiet spot and a nurse... um, anyone have water?"

And they just stared back. Slowly, one raised his hands and the others followed suit. Each mouth twisted into a smile. The two original twins the group had met approached Shun, one smiling and the other grunting savagely. "Goin' somewhere?" Mr. Baldy practically whispered to Shun, leaning close to Shun's cheek. "Why the ******** are you lookin' at me, do I owe you money?" His hands raised, threatening the boy of what all the others knew would come. Shun had a choice. He could either get back to the bonfire, or be dragged back.
He better decide soon. Mr. Baldy did not like being dragged away from his card games.

Just when he had Preacher under control -- sort of, anyways, there was that one last bite -- the bald dudes turned up shouting. And they smacked him and Preacher together, sending them toppling to the floor. Preacher landed on top of him, knocking the breath out of him. Wow, this was definitely not his night. He lay still for minute, waiting for the world to come back into focus. When he was sure he wasn't going to vomit, he sat up, careful not to dislodge the weirdly-snuggly Preacher too much. Preacher looked like he was done in, and Axel felt a flash of guilt. It was his fault. He had started it. Waving Lloren away, Axel managed to get to his feet and haul Preacher up at the same time without collapsing. Then he flopped back on the bench, exhausted, and set Preacher down next to him. He was ready to catch Preacher if he should fall back to the ground. Truce. "Oh," Axel said, seeing Elliot. "Hello."He put his hand on his pounding head, leaned against Preacher, and decided to sit quietly for a while and reflect upon every poor decision ever made in his life. ((I have to go for a while, so you can assume Axel is sitting quietly, behaving himself, and sinking deep into depression))

Shun gritted his teeth and his hands slowly curled into fists as one of them leaned in far too close to his face. The urge to strike this man right now was growing strong. But he was far too outnumbered. He might be able to hold his own against one, maybe, but he'd be beaten into a bloody pulp in no time against all of them. He didn't say a single word in response. He took one step back. He knew it would be better to just go back on his own. That option would lead to the least amount of imminent grief. Though, it was hard to say if that would drive him crazier in the long run, given how he now felt like a caged animal. Another step was taken back. This time his gaze began to look around his surroundings, trying to gauge everything. Another step. Then, he darted off to the side. neither towards the wall nor back to the fire. Leaping, he swiftly went to scale the nearest tree. The baldies probably weren't expecting someone to try and escape via the treetops. Maybe.

Silence followed. No one followed. No one screamed. No one even blinked. As Shun ran the Baldy's simply began to laugh lowly, exchanging high-fives. They watched as the male approached the trees, even letting him scale the tree.
"BRAAAAWWWWWHHHHHHHHH."
A horrific sound equivalent to a falcon screaming before landing on its prey rang through the air as a slightly smaller Baldy smashed a foot into Shun's. His brothers roared in agreement, proud of their youngest brother and his battle scream. And then it went silent. All eyes were on Shun and whether or not he had fallen from the tree. Would he try escape again? Or would he settle down?

The sudden screech startled Shun. His eyes darted around to try and find the source but he soon just felt a foot plant into his chest solidly and knocking him back. The last thing he saw before he crashed onto the ground below was a bald man staring down at him.

Poor guys. On the bright side, he supposed, the pair would probably behave themselves for a while now...but he kind of wished that such an extreme measure hadn't had to be taken. The fight probably would have broken up if he or others had tried to step in sooner, but they had waited too long. Well, at least now they knew (doubly as sure) to tread carefully tonight while around these bald guys.
...All of these bald guys. Having been so caught up in watching Preacher and Axel, Elliot remained unaware of the presence of a dozen or so bald men until he actually shot a casual glance over his shoulder, wondering what all the commotion was. This was followed by his eyes widening as he took in the scene, and he slowly turned his gaze towards Alec, lifting a hand and pointing a finger in his direction.
"You are no longer allowed to joke about such things," Elliot informed him, "Of all jokes to come true, it had to be this one. You might as well quit your day job and become a fortune teller or something, because you were right about there being a pack." A pack indeed. Now he wouldn't be able to relax tonight knowing that there were at least a dozen of these guys hidden among the shadows--keywords being at least.
Trying to focus on something else, he glanced at Lloren. "No, I don't have any water, and I'm not sure we'd be allowed to go and get some either. Honestly, I think both of them could really use some."

Aha! He did not arise! Shun hadn't even seen half of their tricks, but the bald men were pleased. They could now finally get back to poker. Giving an air high-five to the brother in the tree, the wall of bald men wandered back into the shadows. Mr. Baldy and Mr. Baldy 2.0 nodded to one another before settling back down for their game, but not before giving a threatening nod towards those by the bonfire just to establish their dominance. The younger brother in the tree simply wiggled back into the leaves, hidden from sight.
Finally, things were calm again.

Henrik had no idea what was going on. He wasn't sure why there was head smashing or a man in a tree or a half-billion bald men running around, either.
"If you just sit still, they won't bother you," Henrik whispered to Alec as though to reassure the redhead that they were both safe. He wanted to get up and drive his meaty fist into the face of the nearest Baldy, but Henrik wasn't sure how many there were out there, and he certainly wasn't stupid enough to tackle one of them while risking the wrath of the other Baldy clones.
