He peeled potatoes. All of the potatoes and none of them at the same time.

This was... just so wonderful.

By now, Mimsy was used to these sorts of hugs from Shu. Thankfully, Robert had prepared her for a lifetime of hug-adjusting capability, so the act of affection didn't seem to bother her at all. In fact, she pleasantly returned it, and pat her once on the head when she pulled away.

"Well, er." She glanced to see what 'that' was, and tilted her head at the sight of the gear all piled up like that. "Yes, I suppose so, if it is functional. You remembered correctly! Well done!"

The praise was met with another head-pat and a smile.

She had just begun to consider utilizing this downtime to teach her more, when someone finally approached them...with a crate of potatoes. That she instructed them to peel. If Mimsy's time was not worth spending on culling Titans, it was absolutely not worth peeling potatoes.

Suspicious, she narrowed her eyes and glared at the Moon Hunter's back as she fled. Why was she leaving so quickly? She didn't seem to be in a hurry - she appeared almost panicked. As she considered this carefully, trying not to latch onto assumptions, she turned to find Shu already working diligently to do what was asked of her. It was almost cute, but...

"Shu?" Frowning, she put her hand on the trainee's shoulder, squeezing it supportively. "Is this work something that you enjoy? Please do not feel obligated. They are attempting to take advantage of us, and I would never want anyone to do that to you."

"Mine's more of a cloak, really..." Kylee said, plucking nervously at her scarf. But maybe that would work. Somehow. Maybe there was some complicated maneuver or some spiderman-like move???

...Also landing. Yeah. That was also a concern. It wasn't as if they could pad the whole ground with pillows. "Wouldn't it be better to have a demonstration instead?" She murmured, pulling up her scarf to cover her mouth.

"Nora!" Kylee brightened up slightly when she saw the other girl, but promptly remembered that she was a newbie too. "Well... it can't be that bad, right? Can't very well let fear get in the way..." Those words were spoken to reassure herself more so than the others. She had to believe in her own abilities, after all.

"Are potatoes and carrots supposed to be titan bait?" She finally said, after two hunters had dumped two giant crates of vegetables in front of them. Peeled vegetables too? Did they really have to be that picky-- Oh.

"Is this even really part of the mission?"

No. No no no. Nope. Not happening. No.

He got out of bed for this? He'd skipped pancake day with his girlfriend to peel some produce? Hell no. He was totally going home.

Or he would, if he wasn't already picking up a few bananas to peel. Some stupid sense of duty compelled him to do so, with Regal howling in laughter in the background.

Lex began to hum whilst peeling his bananas, a catchy tune from around the early 2000's.

If they listened closely, surrounding Hunters would hear him uttering "Bananas - B-A-N-A-N-A-S!"

Bananas: 10

"Oy, you'll drive me bananas," she grumbled at the Life hunter singing. This really was one tough fruit, what in God's name . . . It was embarrassing enough that the other guy was offering her advice.

Making a face, Nora followed it and found herself having an easier time. "Thanks. Not my favorite fruit anyway. Hope they've got peaches somewhere around there."

The bananas were certainly easier to peel than those potatoes. But then Nora had to go and mention peaches.

Zascha groaned. "What I wouldn't give for a peach pie right about now." His stomach rumbled all the same as his shoulders slumped just slight. Staring at the naked banana in his hand.
