"What plant grows but never dies...?" Oh goodness. He really shouldn't have done this riddle, after all. Flopping down onto the dirt, Teddomination took a minute and thought. And thought. And thought.
Oh, yeah. Thinking was really not the teddy bear's strong suit. He hm'ed and haw'd over the answer, occasionally looking around for inspiration from the trees.
...Oh! That's perfect!
"A Tree!" He said, jumping up proudly.
Teddomination wasn't certain what a disapproving cat looked like, but he was certain he'd just found it. He tried not to let the condescending creature see his disappointment, but... hey. He'd thought that was a REALLY clever answer!
"No. The answer is poison, thick and prevalent in the heart, it will poison a soul for eternity and then move to the next. Now, go on. Your turn."
Really, that didn't seem like much of a riddle at all. Teddomination grumbled to himself, and quickly tried to think of a riddle for the cat.
"Oh! Oh, I've got one! "An egg. Dull."
Shoot! And Teddomination had thought that was so clever, too! Pulling at his ears, the teddy bear monster groaned in frustration. He would just.. have to give it another go, he supposed.
Stupid cat.
"Another riddle, before you can pass. Would you like to try?" The cat purred, obviously amused by his discontent. Teddomination sighed and nodded, making sure his little hat was on straight and buttons were all lined up.
"Very well. "What can I hide but always find?" asked the cat as it turned upside down to lie on its back.
"Your shadow" Millie answered. "Your riddles are just as good as mine."
After pausing for a moment, Millie came up with her riddle.
"Alive without breath,
As cold as death,
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail, never clinking,
Ever travelling, never walking,
Mouth ever moving, never talking.
What am I?"

"What can you chew but never swallow?"
Oh, this one wasn't even a riddle! Grinning from ear to ear (Or what felt that way to the small bear- really, no grin would out-do the one the cat before him spotted), Teddomination hopped up and down in excitement. He got this! He would have to win the cat's game!
"Bubblegum! Obviously!"
The Cheshire cat glared at him. ...Okay, maybe he hadn't thought that through well enough.
"The answer is a tongue of course, for a tongue you always chew on, accidentally maybe, but never can swallow. Assuming you are still very much alive, that is." Teddomination thought he heard an 'idiot' mumbled afterwards, but decided to ignore it.
For his own feeling's sake, of course.

"My tongue?" she asked after a few moments. The cat purred at her answer. Millie wasn't quite sure if the cat had an indication for wrong answers.

...Oh, this was really trying his patience. Chewing on his tongue (BECAUSE APPARENTLY BUBBLEGUM WAS NOT A GOOD ANSWER), Teddomination folded his arms and waited patiently for the third and final riddle.

"POISON. You already asked me this!!!" Teddomination squeaked in annoyance, throwing his hat to the ground. The cat grinned mischievously at him, flicking its tail in a way that could only be mocking.
"Just wanted to make sure you had more than stuffing between your ears. Last riddle, little one. Do try to make it a good one."
Teddomination gave it a moment's thought.

Millie thought long and hard before starting, "They say it can come from your ears, it can also generate fear, some people love to do it, indirectly some chew it, it's not welcome in a house, it's quiet as a mouse. What can it be?"The cat was quiet for a minute. Surely she stumped the cat this time!

"I... I don't know!" The cat answered, looking astounded. In a puff of smoke, he was gone, leaving Teddomination with a treasure chest and a smile. Opening the box (which, alas, was STILL bigger than him), Teddomination claimed his prize and went on his merry way.
It was a good thing, really. DEDfeesh had gotten lost. Yes, as were most of their adventures, it requires getting lost and then meeting strange things...Like this disembodied voice greeting them. Oh, no, never mind, it's actually a cat.
"Hello Mr. Cheshire Cat." they greeted when the creature introduced itself, and while they had wanted to reject the offer of a riddle, the cat had already spoken. Oh well.

The cat gave them a rather unimpressed look before replying, "No, it was tongue."
DEDfeesh narrowed their eyes before the concept finally got through to their mind, and they let out a sound of acknowledgement. "Why didn't I think of that!"
The cat probably chose to ignore the dormouse's eureka moment, and went on. Now it was DEDfeesh's turn to make a riddle. Oh dear...What would be a good one? Oh they know! Their mother told them one before!
"What can one not keep, two hold, and three destroy?"
The cat smiled eerily at them, "A secret."

"Wrong!" It replied in a singing manner as the dormouse gave another huff, "Now, you."
They don't like this game anymore.
"What happens when you mix a cat with red paint?"
"..." The cat stared, obviously confused since that absolutely made no sense, " What?"
"A Panda! I don't understand it either, but apparently if you say it in a different language it makes more sense?"
The cat and DEDfeesh stared at each other for a moment before laughing, with that ends the situation, and the cat lets out a small compliment before disappearing. In its place stood a chest.

hellrisen, on the other hand, was having a most righteous time. He boogeyed through the woods with no particular destination in mind. He was just loving the colours and the fact the awesome trees were talking to him. He was even singing to himself, as he came across a very cute edible-looking ghoul named... Gabriel? Santiago??
His mouth opened to ask if that wasn't a boy name when he heard the voice. "Oooh, can you do BOTH? A riddle and a story together??" Van bounded over excited and his tail wagged behind him. "Hey, don't look so sad! You're really cute and this rad tree is gonna tell us a rory! A riddle-story," he added, beaming.
Yeah. She was super cute. "You and me should party, riddles can be deadly serious," hellrisen said, beaming.
