Mayumi returned from fetching herself some pizza to realize she had missed her first round chance. At least she had made it past the round, herself. But if she was going to survive this, she would definitely have to pay better attention. The girl took a large bite of pizza, then put her head down for the night cycle to chew it.

"Heads up everyone, because the sun is rising..."
Usually, this would be where Ever rose up to stand, picking the night's victim from the gathered players. This round, however, he did no such thing -- just sat back and looked at the lot of them, eyes raking over their faces as his own mouth pulled into a wide grin.
"Miracle of miracles, you wake up this morning to find that no one is dead -- which can mean only one thing. The Protector did their job well..."
He spread his hands, rolled his shoulders in a shrug. "The wolves will be out for blood tonight, I think. Best lynch them before they get a chance to take down your defenses. So, who will it be...?" __________________
OOC NOTE:
It's lynching time!
For the next 48 hours, you should discuss in character who you think might be a wolf, who should be lynched, etc. If you want to say you think you felt someone move in the night -- go for it. If you want to go based on your knowledge of people in character -- go for that. If you want to lynch your BFF because it's hilarious -- also solid grounding.
I only have one request: Keep your posts brief. If possible, stick to 3-4 sentences max. Make it easy for people to read and keep the play going! You can post a bunch of times or you can post once, and that's up to you.
By 48 hours from this post, however, you should post in red bold font who your character is voting to be lynched. I'll post a reminder at the halfway mark!
No one died so I spoilered out the DEATH BIT.
Sorry xxx, but xxx is now dead. I'm giving you the opportunity to RP out a death scene IC if you'd like, so as to pad out your word count and make sure you have the required 450, if you don't already. However under no circumstances should you say anything in your death scene. It's a dramatic, fun, stupid thing for you to do, not a way to give extra information!
As always, if anyone's confused, just shoot me a PM/IM. I'm around a lot. XP
Laine just blinked.. Seriously? "Well, that's... interesting." So now what. Did they just go back to tossing a name in a hat, and whoever had the most names was dog food?
It seemed that way.
"This didn't happen last time, for those curious..." Laine replied flatly. Though, she did have to appreciate it. Made the game a little more unpredictable.

After spending some time with her head down, trying to listen to the room to figure out who had gotten up in the middle of the 'night', Mackenzie raised her head and blinked the light-spots away. She watched Ever carefully, her body tense as she waited for him to announce who the Werewolves had brutally killed last night.
And it wassssss........... No one?
Huh.
Chewing her bottom lip, she took a good look around the room. Did anyone seem suspicious? Did she still want to vote for poor nervous Scott?
"Hmmm... Maybe I'll let you off the hook this round, Scott." She grinned at him, sure as hell that he was still all nerves.
Before she'd laid down for the "night," Delilah flashed Avery a smile in thanks for the compliment, but ti wasn't until the next "day" that she had a chance to slide over to the pretty councilwoman and return it.
"You look pretty great yourself," she said, and then she sighed a little. This game was a little difficult - selecting someone to eliminate would always feel pretty petty and personal, at least in the beginning.
"It's too bad nobody's being particularly shifty, but I guess that would make things too easy."
Indubitably
whoops i am very slow sorry ;;

The look on Zac’s face certainly said baffled. Twice in a row and no one died? How odd… “Okay then, anyone want to flip a coin? Orrr… who looks like they could use a drink?” He glanced around the room and looked thoughtful.
He made a face, dissatisfied and half a shrug. Scott – You are looking really green, maybe you need an out? You inhaled that pizza if nothing else. Not the best reason to vote for someone but it’s all I’ve got to go on other than we have the worlds most peaceful werewolves.”

It was weird that no one died overnight. Scott was certain that he'd be sure to be gobbled up, but it seemed something worked in his favor. Sawyer's squeeze did offer him some comfort, even if he was breaking his personal bubble, and the smile he wore, though brief, was small. "Yeah, I got one... no one wants to be the one to speak first, because unless they hold some kind of authority or power, they're just opening themselves up to attack. That's how this works, right?"
Then, not to his surprised, the one to speak up first was Zac, and when he called his name, Scott immediately knew it was over for him. His smile faded, and just like that, he returned to his nervous wreck self. "See? Like that. He spoke for Ariel's death and it happened. He speaks for mine, so... so others will follow him. Even if he has no proof, he holds authority... so..."
He could retaliate and counter vote, but... who would believe him? Two others, Leora and Mackenzie, had already set sights on him, and with Zac making the first vote, any option to counter vote would only make him look more suspicious.

Maybe Zac did remember Sawyer in high school, or maybe he didn't. If he did, then Sawyer's next words might have seemed a bit more poignant, a bit more pointed. Sawyer had always been the awkward kid, the weird kid; everything he was now had been an effort to own it that had worked better than even he had imagined it could.
"Are you seriously picking on the quiet ones again?" he demanded of Zac, sounding personally injured. "That's mean."
“Because that’s so different from your defense as a werewolf last time? You should remember I split my time between loud and quiet last time, anyone else has a suggestion lets here it, but the kid looks green and I hear –nothing- from you but words.”
“And You…”
“I know I’ve not met you in civilian clothes, that’s a pretty big assumption. Toss out a name… I bet people would follow it. Someone has to say something, it’s the rules.”

"Using a strategy, however basic, isn't mean," Avery pointed out, flicking her eyes from the pair of Scott and Sawyer to find Zac. "Referring to Ariel as a cow, however? Completely unnecessary." In fact, she'd found the volley of insults quite distasteful
The councilwoman took a short sip from her wine, contemplating whether or not she wanted to 'cross' a General King.
"You seem like quite the predator, Zac." He'd already gotten rid of one villager.
"Shits and giggles maybe? Wanted to throw everyone for a loop." And by the looks of it, they had done a good job of it. She did roll her eyes at Scotts antics though. "Just cause he's calling you out doesn't mean everyone will do the same. He tried to kill me once last time and I managed to survive." Until morning anyway, but Scott didn't need to know that. "But I don't think his reasoning is too far off. You were hiding in a corner looking like you might pass out if someone so much as looked at you. One could think you were hiding something." She groaned. "It's a game. I don't think he meant anything by it." Speaking from experience Laine? Maybe she was. "Ugh whatever. I'm voting Scott."

Scott was grateful for Sawyer's defense, even if he feared it wouldn't help much in the long run. Still, it was appreciated, and his smile was small, but still clear to see, even if only for a second. Zac's and Laine's words wouldn't go to waste, and Scott let out a sigh. "Sorry, didn't know being hungry and shy meant I was suspicious. And I know he doesn't mean anything by it, just throwing out a name because apparently I look sick... he got rid of Ariel because she looked uninterested, not because she was actually suspicious."
Of course, when Avery turned her vote to Zac, Scott felt some ray of hope shine within him. Because she did bring up a good point. "He's the first one to cast a vote in both turns, right? And we saw the results of the last one... maybe he's throwing off the trail by throwing attention on others. So... I'm voting for Zacas well."
Maybe it was suicidal. Maybe it was stupid. Maybe he was right. Who knew? He might as well try...
"I'm voting Zac because he's always in such a hurry to point fingers. It's gauche." Sawyer had just learned this word from a PBS special and was eager to deploy it. He'd also learned it was one letter off from a rather dirtier word, and this delighted in him in this context. "Also cos I like to stick it to the man," he added happily.
