Finally back on Eowyn and Lithian had me on the beach. Water is still something that I'm wary around but Lithian coaxed me out into the ocean and with his help, I swam around some. I'd love nothing more than to get better at swimming. Things eventually lead elsewhere, though, and the swimming lesson was soon over.

Araceli walked in on Lithian and I when we were other wise occupied. Both of us were worried about how she would react. Instead, she focused more on the state of my wings and the fact that I was more hybrid than I had ever let on to anyone but Lithian. Soon we found out her original purpose for showing up and Lithian was off to help Detraeus.

The cat was out of the bag today. My father caught me shoving Lithian up against the outside wall of our house. I called Lithian my mate and my father seemed to just be amused by it. When he left, Lithian and I talked. After having things explained to me, I wasted no time. I love Lithian and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. If that means courting him and going through a ceremony, eventually, so be it. I'll do anything for him.

Just before a fight, I got into a scrabble with another pit fighter. I thought it was only a scratch and didn't pay much mind to it. Detra showed up and after some words and such we headed out to the arena. Ended up he was my opponent. I started feeling funny on the way up but shoved it away, figuring it was just something silly. Once the fight started, however, I knew something was seriously wrong. I kept fighting, though. A lot of what happened after the fight started is foggy in my mind and I only remember bits and pieces of the events following the match.

I only vaguely remember being carried out of the arena. Anything after that is a blank. I slept for a very long time, it seems.

I woke up today. I was so thirsty. Lithian was there. Had been there. We talked about what happened and argued about Detraeus.
