"Hello class! I'm Jubilee Joy, and you may call me Miss Jubilee! I'm from Christmas Town, and I'm absolutely ecstatic to be here! I asked a favor from an old friend to come help me out, but he's real busy, so he sent someone else - a little girl named Hel!" She smiled, gesturing at the reaper in question.
Hel, who was sitting off to the side with a pile of candy canes and currently sharpening one of them into a shiv, looked up as her name was mentioned. She wrinkled her nose and made a face at being called ‘little girl’ but said nothing about it for the time being. She gave a nod of her head to the students and mouthed a ‘yo’ before she went right back to what she was doing with a small smirk. Oh, someone sent her alright…and she had a job to do.
"I hope you can make the both of us feel welcomed today!" Jubilee beamed, practically bouncing on the spot as she picked up the large mixing bowl on the table in front of her, oblivious to the fact that a couple of students were looking at her like she was a walking snack, "Right! We'll be making gingerbread cookies! In Christmas town, all the houses are made from lovely, lovely gingerbread, so it's a recipe of extreme importance! Isn't it just sooooo exciting, children?"
At some point Hel stopped making weapons out of Christmas confectionary to watch what Jubilee was up to. In fact, the reaper looked a little too interested as she rested her chin in her hand, which also helped to cover up the majority of her growing smirk.
"First, we are going to preheat the oven!" She explained, walking over to the ovens that had been built into the wall. Noticing Hel looking her way, she beamed, "Oh! I see that Miss Hel seems interested in this next part... Are you curious to see how well they work? You did play a big part in their installation, after all!" Taking a closer look at the ovens, however, Jubilee quickly realized that they looked very different from the ones she picked out from the Halloween kitchen appliances catalog...
"Um, well... This is new! I thought the plan was for the latest ovens to be installed? Miss Hel, why didn't you tell me that the plan fell through? O-oh, how embarrassing..." She laughed nervously, fiddling with the knobs on the side of the oven door, trying to figure out the mechanics. When nothing happened, she frowned, fiddling with the door.
“Oh…ya…uh…the school budget is rather tight right now…because of the House Cup and all…” Hel replied idly, and then immediately clamped that hand over her mouth to smother the snickering that happened once the teacher opened up the oven-
-and a jet of fire shot out from inside, singeing Jubilee's hair, and causing her to scream in fright, "OVERCOOKED! HELP! I'M GOING TO BE OVERCOO-" Remembering that she was in a room full of students, however, she quickly calmed down, her body shaking as she inhaled and exhaled several times. Forcing a smile, she pumped a hand in the air, and loudly exclaimed, "I'm Jubilee Joy, and I'm fine!"
Embarrassed, she avoided eye-contact, and cautiously peered into the oven. Her expression was frozen in a mixture of fear and disbelief as she very slowly turned to address the audience again, "T-there's a small d-dragon in this oven..." Laughing nervously, she walked over to the next oven, taking care to open the oven door slowly before looking inside - where she found a pair of eyes staring back, "O-oh! We appear to h-have two faulty o-ovens..." She smiled, her hands trembling as she walked down the roll of ovens, picking a random one to check, "There's... A small d-dragon here t-too... H-how do these ovens w-work? Let me... L-let me..."
Too stunned to consider asking Hel anything, Jubilee stumbled over to her table, and picked up a phone that had been given to her upon her arrival in Halloween. It took her a while to figure it out, but she was soon able to search "How to operate an oven with a dragon inside" using a built-in search engine. Her face turned pale as she read the instructions, and she looked like she was about to faint as she put the phone back down on the table.
"W-well!" She continued to smile, although it was wavering, "According to... What do you call it here? The Interweb? You're supposed to feed the small oven dragon some live bait..."
“Oooooooh ya….forgot to mention that…” Hel replied cheerfully. “Special ovens…those are a really unique but rare brand…really sought after in Halloween…” The reaper informed as she nudged a metal cage further under the desk she was seated at to better conceal it. That fake web page about dragon ovens really paid off.
"T-thank you for getting such special ovens, Miss Hel... B-But... No, no, no... We wouldn't want to go on the naughty list and receive... That thing, right?" She shuddered at the thought; that word was so foul that she couldn't even bring herself to say it, "We will feed it candy instead! Feed it till it's producing heat of 175! You can check on the thermometer beside the oven door... If it's not producing the amount of heat you want, press the red button, and that will reset the temperature. K-keep trying! You can do it!"

"Oh," said Tink as she examined her oven. "Look at how cute it is." A gout of flame required her to sidestep in a jingle of tiny bells lest she singe her wool, but she seemed undaunted. "Very cute," she repeated dreamily, shoveling candy into its greedy gullet. Tink, whose entire reason for being here was her constant bad luck and clumsiness, was delighted to find that not only did she not end up in flames, but she also apparently had a knack for dragon whispering. "Miss Jubilee," she said timidly, raising her hand. "My oven's ready."

"Yeah, we live in the demon dorms together. I have a pony that lives near there too. you can keep the ribbon dear, I have plenty more." she smiles at the dog demon, giving him a little pat on the head. "Oh time to bake." those ovens did not look very safe, where was Andrew when you needed him? He would be able to do this much faster, or so she thought. "This doesn't seem right...." she tried to feed the dragon, feeling a little concerned. was it a dragon or just an ugly lizard. Did it bite?

Eager to get started with the class, the tikbalang set to work with the ovens. Unfortunately, this was one of the reasons why the monster horse had a tendency not to get baking right as, well, he wasn't as precise as the recipe and or instructions required.
Not immediately anyway.

The monster horse kept fidgeting and futzing with the ovens, sometimes banging at the surface in frustration. Or maybe in an attempt to intimidate the dragons inside to listen? Eventually, he was forced to press the reset button a second time.

Maybe there was something to be said about using threats when your appliance involved living creatures. At least, it seemed that way to Petro because just after he idly muttered all the things he could do to tiny dragons, the oven finally got the correct temperature. He gave Trisha and Aki each a big, encouraging grin and thumb's up.

To say that the Professor's performance and introduction left the blonde reaper in stitches was nothing short of an understatement. Of course, given her lack of vocalization, only people who paid any attention to her would have seen her doubled over, holding her sides in absolute silent laughter. Maybe later she would go up to the older reaper ghoul and give her two thumbs up in appreciation over the oven-thing. And now that she'd had her jollies at someone else's miserable expense (which in Ruth's opinion was the best kind), it was now her turn to try to work the oven.
She'd watched the professor and her fellow students, feeding candy to the dragons in order to achieve the required temperature? It sounded unusual, but then again, these were supposed to be rare and specially ordered ovens. They were, technically, allowed their own unique quirks and methods of operation. But just because they were special, it didn't mean they should be inoperable. And it took Ruth a bit of studying to figure out the controls. In the end, she needed to press the reset button.

With a halfway decent understanding of what she needed to do to get her oven-dragon's cooperation, the silent reaper drummed her fingers on the oven's surface. She was seemingly trying to agitate the dragon on purpose before finally tossing a couple of the candy treats inside. There was the audible crunch as the flame-breathing creature gobbled the proffered food and begrudgingly began to heat up until the required temperature.
Ruth didn't so much as mouth a thank you or anything. She just stared, eyes unseen behind the bill of her cap as well as her bangs, and then nodded in acknowledgement.

She pushed the button and then tried to feed her dragon a little bait... and got bit on her finger in the process. Trisha stepped back and stomped her hoof, sucking on her finger. "Owe owe owe...." a tear made its way down her face.

A dragon in the oven?! Well that was just....just impractical of all things. Still, if this was how it was done here she was just going to have to buckle down and try it. Her first attempt at feeding the little dragon inside ended up with her nearly getting bit as the little thing was far more interested in taking a nap than waking up and eating candy. Frowning, she hit the reset button.

"Come on little dragon...." she tried to coax the thing but it was more interested in eating then actually producing any heat. Trisha learned from the first attempt though and made her fingers stone before trying to feed it.

"Please little dragon just heat the oven." she whined at it and then sighed. "It's not working very well." she almost wanted to go tell the teacher that she really didn't think these were the right ovens.

"I really would like to cook, little one." She tried to feed it candy again, but it just glared balefully at her. "Please? They said the candy is really good!" The little dragon was once again having none of it, and snapped at her, this time drawing blood. She gave a sharp squeal and slapped the reset button with her tail, trying to hold her hand out from her mass of delicate clothing as she looked around for something to wrap her hand in. She found a kitchen towel on her desk and wrapped her hand up so she could try once again to get this stupid dragon to work with her.

When Ms. Jubilee began to address the class, Mayaa gave her her rapt attention, intent on making the BEST SPOOKIES EVER. She had to please Miss Vanya! But when the gingerbread professor nearly got burned to a crisp, she let out a gasp, clasping her hands over her mouth. It probably didn't help that the smell was making her kinda hungry...
After the instructions, Mayaa put on her determined face, grabbing some FEAR candy to feed the little dragon. Everyone loved candy, right? Perhaps she underfed the dragon as it let out a dissatisfied belch, nearly singeing her feathers.
