One more carrot hit her shoulders, probably for the comment she made at them (or well, the original problem of the speed she was going... but probably the comment). Olivia scrunched her nose at them, mostly for the throwing thing, and pulled at the leather in her hands to slow the reindeer down. They wanted slow, they were going to go slow. Snail's pace of boring, that's what.

Gave the ghoul more of a chance to look around at least, to see the festive decorating the creeple of Christmas brought to Halloween. So much snow ~

Ruth genuinely was not interested in going slow, nor was she interested in the well-being of her passengers. They were unfortunate enough to get drafted, they were going to have to tough it out now that they were under Ruth's watch.

But as established earlier, her beast did not care for her either. So no matter how much she stamped and snapped the reigns, the slay was going agonizingly slow for the blonde. Jack damn it.

When she hauled back, she practically kicked the gnomes off, mouthing silent grumbles as she alighted.

"Hey," Bren said to no one in particular. He tugged the reins again, and this time, the attached deer flicked an ear back in his direction and slowed to a more docile pace. The gnomes' muted grumbles seemed to indicate that maybe this was a mite too slow, but at least they had stopped throwing carrots.

As he carted them around the field, the reaper thought about... anything other than his current situation, really. His mind shuffled past fights and lessons until it settled on science. He sighed. Now there was something worth contemplating. He had come to Amityville to learn more about taking things apart and putting them back together in new and interesting ways, but the things he had done since had ping-ponged him between such extremes that he never had a chance to pursue simpler dreams.

He turned around, furrowing his brows as the gnomes. "Are we done?"

They responded by throwing a carrot.

"You idiot! This is too fast, stupid!" The gnome squeaked and started tossing carrots at him. He grabbed one without looking, and put it into his mouth and munched. Oh that was a nice taste. He caught one after another, straightly put them into his small mouth while holding the rein. In Mellow's dictionary, the faster was the better. However, slay steering was more than that, too fast, the wind might blow the passenger or goods off. Maybe the carrots help a lot, the frequency that Mellow hit the rein to tell the reindeer to accelerate became lower. Carrots were a good thing. When they jumped off the slay, Mellow's mouth were full of carrots.

Aren't only donkey or rabbit love carrots?

Clara didn't like gnomes. So when she heard that they were going to have to carry gnomes as passengers in their sleighs, she immediately moved as far as she could on the seat of the sleigh, away from where the gnome passenger would be sitting. She glared at the gnomes as they got on, up until the sleigh started moving.

All the while she was driving the sleigh, Clara kept thinking that if they chucked any carrots at her, she would chuck them right back at them. She was so distracted that the sleigh, with the gnomes, Clara, and the reindeer pulling it, arrived on the other side without Clara noticing. It was probably best that the sleigh had gone slower rather than faster.

TK really appreciated your enthusiasm Blitzen, he really did. It was difficult to describe the expression on his face when the instructor mentioned passengers. Oh Jack.

Well, at least he was familiar with the gnomes. It was better than driving around total strangers. Mouth forming a tight line, he made himself comfortable in his sleigh and cautiously set off again. This time, he was doing a pretty decent job. While he wasn't at the perfect pace, he wasn't that much slower. Plus, it was always better than being too fast, right? At least, he hoped so.

Poke wasn't sure how her steering had been any sort of reasonable that it warranted her to have passengers. But at least the passengers were gnomes and not someone else, or even a minipet.

As soon as her gnomes were in the back seat, Poke whipped at the reins and was glad to see the reindeer respond. Maybe it was used to her presence now? Whatever it was, she whipped the reins again. She might of heard something about going at a reasonable pace, but she had a need for speed, and soon the sleigh was riding around at a breakneck pace.

She then felt a bunch of objects hitting the back of her head. Hmph, stupid gnomes didn't know a thing. This was awesome.

Even if they were holding on for deer life. Haha, get it, Deer?

Oh, it looked like Trisha did ok!
Mayaa gave the ghoul a wave, but then she heard Cormick's voice, and turned, frowning slightly.
"Cormickkkkkkkk, my name is Mayaa, not birdbrain! And you need to give him love and cuddles. He'll listen to you better!"
That meant you too, Mellow. LOVE AND CUDDLES.

To demonstrate, she wrapped her arms around the great beast and buried her face in its chest fur, muttering unintelligibly babble that sounded like cooing, or what one would say to a young scarling.

Baby babble would have to wait, as they were given a new task, and Mayaa peered curiously at the disgrunted gnomes in the sleigh. Oh, hello gnomes!
She climbed back into the sleigh and took the reins, ushering the reindeer forward, but perhaps she encouraged him too much, and soon they were going too fast, and had carrots pelted at her.

Oh, carrots! Maybe the reindeer was hungry~
