"Irish vampire seems like an odd mix." Dory retorted, going to scratch his chin while he thought it over. "Werewolf would be more likely. All ********' 'airy and drunk, and the likes." He figured, going to place his hands up and make claw like actions - sure there could be something pretty ******** up on the other side of the doorway, but he could't help it.
Watching the smaller British hunter join them again, he leaned back a little, taking a good gander over the doorway once again, gloved hand returning to his face. "I'm not entirely good with brute force." He admitted, "But if we all try, maybe. Mais, it doesn't seem like a very welcoming abode." A shrug. It could be worse.
Going to summon Justice to his side, he gave Gale a look that said "use me to your will."

"Favorite draink is moonshine t'be sure," he joked in his best (terrible) Irish accent. That was when the strange red glow started happening. And whispers. Piece together your own horror story together right here, folks.
Jack leaned in carefully and examined the bloodstains. "Your mission, your call," he said to Gale without looking, a slight frown on his face. "Whatever this is, it doesn't look human friendly." This was either the place they were looking for or the place they ought to have avoided; he was starting to wonder if those came hand in hand at Deus.

For a second, the bloodstains seemed to form words.

"Also, the blood's writing to me," Jack added conversationally, intrigued. At Owain's curious insistence, he tried to touch the blood stains. "Must be a fan. E-R-I-S-E-D. Erised, anyone?"
"Desire?" Stormy carefully made her way in, a hand near her barrier dagger. She kept behind Gale just in case, eying the scene warily for a multitude of reasons.

Nevada left the blood to Jack and Stormy, making way with her sun guardian in tow to the locked door, opening it.

As Stormy moved to touch the blood stains, the S wore off, so that it only read:
E R I E D
The door Nevada tried jarred a bit but stayed shut. It seemed it was sealed with a very thick and intricate lock, rusting mostly. The lock itself consisted of three digits, ranging from 0 to 9.
OOC Feel free to guess the combination - it consists of three unique digits! I will take any order. You are also still free to look around for any clues.

Lucky had been watching impassively from the sidelines and continued to enjoy his cup of coffee, mostly just following everyone around and not paying attention to what was in front of him. By now people probably knew better than to bring a life hunter with for fighting. He was running at 10% capacity and didn't appear to be interested in ratcheting it up even a single percent higher. At least, not until they started discussing a riddle. He delicately handed the still-warm coffee mug to Mimsy and sauntered over to the door everyone else had been trying to pry open. More or less ignoring every warning of grave danger, from the seals to the shifting fog, he went straight for the lock to give it a try. The digits turned with a rusty click. 0-1-8.Yes, he'd read Harry Potter before. No, he'd never admit it. "Oh," he observed aloud when he finally noticed the blood and seals and insanity. He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, and glanced toward the rest of the hunters. He looked more confused than anything, as no one in their right mind would really want this door open. One of the tendril hands reached too close to his shoes and he stepped back lightly, gesturing to the entire mess that was the door. "Maybe ve should not open this...?"

"Or it could be on her, that works too," Jack drawled, watching Nevada approach the door with little success. "I know you've only got one eye there, sweetheart, but you really ought to look before trying something." What a funny little lock, though . . . And one missing letter to boot. Hmm.
"Bit late on that part," he said to the other Lifer as he continued to fiddle with the bloody letters.

Only the red S remained missing, every other letter firmly in place, though the remaining letters did start leaking a bit into a jumble of red that barely made sense.

"Sorry, I don't listen to people who throw their swords out in the middle of the desert." Nevada said loudly, looking at the lock as Lucky tried a combination. "You know, even with only having one eye, I'm not THAT stupid Jack...a**."
She tapped the numbers on the Lock, wondering if it was entirely three different numbers or if it was all of the same.

"Terribly clever, you."
Briskly he stood up, holding his bloodied out at length away from the lock, and turned the knob with a curious look. "Let's see if this works . . ."

Neither of the combinations worked, though perhaps in the distance Nevada heard a whisper that sort of sounded like contract. It was most likely her imagination.

"Contract?" She turned her head around, wondering what that was about.
Did she need to make a contract?
"Wow Jack, look at you go." Nevada snorted as the door didn't open for him either. She went back to examine the blood.
"What letter went missing again?"
s??
She came back to try again.

The raptors were gone, much thanks to the awesome other people who came to help and fend them off. It didn't mean Milo dismissed Koume though, he kept her out and rested her against his shoulder as per usual and made his way down the lighthouse to join the others in the search of whatever it was they were looking for. He was humming a particular song, seeing raptors kind of did of got it in his head.
A majority of his comrades were seeming to be in the monastery, so that's where where Milo headed. And followed the sounds of their voices; aa, sounded like Jack and Nevada were down there...
