Lickitung retracted and let go of Liepard as the Fire Spin drew near, not wanting to get caught up in that. Too spicy for his tastes. He tried to throw a Blizzard around the area afterward, if only to act as a deterrent to the remaining offending Pokemon.

Amaranth nodded at Lickitung in return, using him as a sort of shield. For now. If nothing else, it'd help keep an eye behind her Pokemon.

"No identification?" Sub repeated as Darts relayed the information to him. "If you of all people feel like something isn't right then something isn't right." The man said, reassuring the ghost that he believed him to be correct. "Nothing we can do for now though, this place is way too crowded and there are cameras everywhere. We need to escape as soon as possible." He was right, the battling was getting just too intense, why would actually police officers instigate a fight in such a place where innocents could be harmed by the dozen?

Sub watched as the Snagems dispatched the first round of Pokemon, all four being knocked out. Unfortunately, those four were replaced by four more, Golbat, Swalot, Scrafty, and Mightyena. The Dark Channeler managed to catch a glimpse of one of the officer's belt and noticed they had a full team of six Pokemon, meaning this fight would not end soon and the longer it lasted the more risk there was to the innocents.

"Hey! Kalos pigs!" Sub shouted. "Tell your king that a pretender has risen to challenge his throne!" He triumphantly declared, holding a fist up in the air in defiance as cameras flickered. The idea was to get them to focus on him and him alone. "Darts, I read up on how the tower was made before we came up here and noticed that it was made with a sheet of ebonite, Dark Gem, thus making it impossible to teleport through. I want you to grab every Snagem you can, especially Odd, and take your jacket off while touching you. I know you'll go crazy in that other place but Odd is a Ghost Channeler and might be able to help you. I'll then take your jacket and jump out of this tower. Then try your best to return to your jacket with everyone with you. Otherwise I don't think we'll make it out of here in one piece, I just saw an officer radio for help it looked like."

"Sub, what are you thinking...?" Amaranth spoke up, hearing what he said. As well as what sounded like a very harebrained scheme.

Back at the base of the tower, Sol's exploration of the city had him finding his way there, seeing some sort of commotion above. Moreso than what might've been normal. "Somehow, I've a feeling I should've stayed with the group after all." He said to himself, looking up. He was poised to jump in if he needed to, unaware of what was apparently planned.

"It seems someone has ruined the romantic atmosphere. It would be best...and safer if we go somewhere else. Maybe head to one of the Cafes for a drink? " Ryan explains with a sigh. He was going to have some choice words for Sub when he had the time.

Odd overheard Sub, but just barely. "What about the Distortion World?" He asked before he was overcome by a throng of people rushing towards Sub even amid the chaos of these 'police'-like thugs and their battling.

"Dissonance! Take Kaya and get out of here!" He ordered his partner, tossing his remaining Pokeballs to the silverette in his Ghost's hands. "Keep up with those for me, just in case!" He said, keeping only Cadenza's Pokeball on him and recalling the Shedinja to it for protection.

"Will do. But promise you'll come back, all of you." Kaya replied, eyeballing all of the Snagems he could see atop the tower before he was flown away, Sora in hand.

Darts looks around at the Snagems surrounding him, Amaranth, Odd, Reno, and the others, as Sub finishes outlining his plan. "Alright, I hope you know what's going to happen..." And then, as if like magic, Darts' lack of confidence vanishes entirely, his spine straightening, his breathing slowing as he moves to the center of the surrounding group. His body was unconsciously preparing itself for the gamble, where most people would have their heart race, Darts' blood runs cold in the heat of the action, but he loved every second.

"Now, I'm not quite sure," he begins, gesturing around at the Snagems surrounding him. "What exactly is going to happen in the Distortion World. I do know one thing for certain, and that is you are going to need me to get back. Which is a bit of a problem, all things considered, because once I take this jacket," Here he tugs at the gold and black garment draped over him for emphasis. "Off, all bets are off. This is my dimensional anchor to this world, here. As a Giratina hybrid I am constantly drawn towards the Distortion World that overlays our own, and somehow, this jacket when I was cursed has become a mental and physical tether for this world." He pauses. "The coffee helps too. Regardless, when I take it off I get sucked into the Distortion World, and theoretically so will you. But it's a backwards place where water will scald you like fire, and poison will heal you like medicine, and, unlike here, things that seem solid and real are just phantasms and vice versa. It drives you mad. Drove me mad. But the other thing is certain, as soon as we get there I will be in full hybrid rage mode, and I will not be happy."

At this point, Amaranth kept herself close to Sub now, ready to rush or else be whisked away. She'd go down fighting if she needed to.

Back at the base, Sol figured it was wiser to try and get inside, working his way through the crowd to start for the elevator. Maybe he could get up there or something, he thought.
