Amphi nervously fidgeted with the paper, not sure how to do because questions.

The first section was all in code and she kind of glassed over, there was bubbles and seahorses and...OH THEY WERE SPEAKING HER LANGUAGE HERE. She could do that. Confident that section was good, she moved on to number 2.

She sped through section 2 and 3, her paper giving off a orange glowy feeling. Perfection at its finest.

the fourth section gave her the most trouble, she didn't know literature...She managed a few questions before she was dropped down in a trap door and spent the majority of her time crawling back out. What kind of test was this? QQ.

The final part was in a different code, but she eased through it again. Yipee! Test turned, yay.

Night lazily filled out each question with a almost lucky precision. HE WAS FEELING SUPER LUCKY TODAY.

Minus the trap door and the codes, over all, he did really well.

Tavi wanted to hide and boy did he try but inevitably he was forced with the other participants to do the quiz. This was horrible and not a game! Tavi had been played this was not part of what he signed-up for or at least..he didn't remember quizzes being a part of it. On a groan he started on the history part of the exam, scratching his head and whining the entire time. Apparently his whining was getting on some other creeples nerves because after a few moments a random object he could barely make out skidded by his head and nearly knocked him out, luckily however he leaned back in time to avoid it thanks to his attempt to cheat off the boil in the cubicle next to him.

After the history exam was filled out Tavi glanced to the stands giving the monitor a help me look and wondering if San would come and rescue him like he imagined. Of course he knew better but ..it was more fun to think about that than to think about the math part of the quiz. Just as soon as he was about to try the math section a trap door opens underneath his chair and drops him into a deep pit. Screaming all the way down he claws at the sides once he hits the bottom and instantly tries to climb out. It took him basically the entire math section of the quiz to get out but by the time he did he was ready to kick this quizzes butt, that and get a drink because he was now dying of thirst.

Settling back into his cubicle he stretched and waited for the next part of the quiz, determined to focus this time and finish! Even...if he knew most of it would be wrong. Staring at the human world studies questions he frowned harshly and scratched at his head. This was awful he didn't know anything on here! Panicking he slid around the side of his cubicle and stole a quick glance to the ghouls paper in the next cubicle. Cheating off of the ghoul made him feel a bit guilty but it was for a greater good right? Tavi quickly scribbled down the answers and tried to act as casually as possible after words. The questions he had picked up off the ghoul actually looked just about right the more he looked over them, this pleased him greatly.

Beaming he wiggled in his seat waiting for the fourth part of the quiz. When finding out it was Literature of Halloween he was in a fit of soft giggles, this would be a snap! He could read and that's all you really needed to be able to do to get these right, ..right? Smirking he starts in reading and scribbling in answers as fast as lightning. Though through his excited answering he notices a movement from the corner of his eye and turns to catch the boil next to him peeking in at his answers. A cold glare was given to the boil before he stuck out his tongue and turned to shield his paper. So what if he had cheated before it wasn't like the other boil could prove that and besides these answers were special, they were all his!

When the last section was announced he let out a giant sigh of relief and flashed a wide grin. It was almost over and then he could get back to dragging San around and get back to the real fun! When the paper of General Studies was laid before him he starts to read over it and the questions. These didn't look so hard what luck he mused happily, tails wagging out behind him. Not giving it a lot of thought to keep from stressing he filled out the first thing that popped to mind and was feeling pretty good about himself when the quiz ended.

Spinar wasn't worried heading into the quiz, he was smart and he knew it no stupid quiz was going to get the better of him. Not now not ever. Heading into the cubicle with a smirk he sat down and leaned back not worried about preparing at all or doing deep breathing like he heard coming from around him. Seriously creeple stressed out way to much about quizzes, or at least the ones that weren't as smart as him did. Chuckling lowly and to himself Spinar thrummed his nails against his writing space and began to read over the first section.

He had a good feeling about these questions and about how the demons would do this go around. Demons were the smartest of all Halloween creatures after all. ~

Breezing through the questions in History of Halloween he only pauses when one of the questions turn out to actually be a page from a cookbook. Glancing the sheet over he wonders if its a trick and spends sometime studying the piece of paper before simply moving on and ignoring it. With all the questions answered he moves on to the next section of the quiz, confident as ever.

Math. Math wasn't his best subject but was it really anyone's? Wincing at the title of the section he finally joined in with the deep breathing crowd and inhaled a deep breath before starting on the quiz. As he moved along from question to question he tried to focus but had to pause when some of the questions turned to more code than question. What was this madness? Annoyed he simply wrote whatever came to mind then continued at the end of the section he felt pretty good about his answer though...not as good as he had with the previous section.

Moving along to the human world studies section he smirked, piece of cake! He had been to the human world after all, the section while he figured would be easy also reminded him of the ToTers. Shaking his head to not get sucked into pondering he put his focus into the questions filling them out as best he could and leaving the coded questions for last. When he was all finished he flipped through the answers and gave a few of them new answers before waiting satisfied for the next section to start, he felt pretty good about the human studies section coded questions and all.

The fourth section of the quiz had Spinar in a dead stare. Was this...crayon drawing? It defiantly wasn't literature, what kind of game were the creators of these quizzes playing at? Whatever it was he was having none of it. Smirking he drew a big star on the page and gave it a critique by haiku, now it had something to do with literature at least.

The fifth and final section was a general pool of things most of which he was quick to answer. However come the very last question he drew a blank and frowned, not willing to go down like this he casually slipped his chair back and oh so sneakily cheated off of the creature in the cubicle next to him. He wasn't about to let such a thing as not knowing hinder him from helping prove demons were the best. Quizzes all complete he waited silently for the dismissal.

Okay, so what did she have to do now? A Quiz? But she didn't really know alot at all! Or at least she was really sure of that. She now wished she was back in the race again instead of here with a written quiz. She liked that more if you forget the swimming part.

She decided to just start and see how she'll do. The first part was surprisingly easy to fill in. She was writing with such a big smile that an other student started to peek over her shoulder to read her answers. Sheelah noticed this but since it was a monster too she ignored it and continued to write. Maybe the next set of questions were this easy too.

The questions in the next part didn't seem to difficult... If that other thing wasn't trying to be this annoying. She still tried to answer the questions as good as she could but she wasn't really sure about some of her answers. Better luck in the next part of the questions?

She had the feeling that the next part the Human World Studies went just as good or bad as the math bit. She also still had the same trouble as before. Not really sure what she could do? Just continue writing answers probably.

Just as she thought it would probably go better now, she can answer the next questions, she noticed the next set of questions is written in some strange language she couldn't read. Great. She still started to write down what she thought could be answers to those questions. She may even be correct. Who knows?

The last set was just like the ones before except some were readable this time. It was the last set of questions she had to answer and that made it all a bit easier.

She didn't do to bad she hoped. Now everything was filled and finished she found it time to go back to the booths again. Sheelah left not really sure if she did good or bad.

A quiz? This was much more the thing. Still, Malodore approached the thing with a bit of trepidation. Its knowledge of subjects outside of medicine or the general sciences could be deemed lacking... particularly when it came to popular culture...

... And it hadn't been expecting its chair to be a trap. A trap which it somehow managed to trigger multiple times. By the end of it, the plague doctor was sore and irritated. It had quite probably spent more physical labor on this so-called mental exercise than it had during the previous event. Mostly because it got dumped into a pit three times.

But at least it hadn't been set on fire. Small mercies.

Anna was still feeling rather dazed, after she'd somehow gotten the fastest time in the first event... and then gotten dragged off for arcane 'testing' that hadn't really helped her regain her mental footing. And now she had to do a test.

Great. Hopefully she wouldn't be the best at this, too, or she was going to end up being somebody's mad scientist lab rat. She made a face at the papers as she flipped them over. Hmm... history, that wasn't too bad. Wait, why was there a page from a cookbook in here...?

And then her chair dumped her into a pit. Which was actually preferable to doing math, but still.

By the time it was over, Anna felt like she'd been run over by a train. Repeatedly. At least she was fairly sure she hadn't inadvertently made her way into the record books this time.

Tamsin looked utterly dumbfounded as she was shoved into a chair and threatened by all the surrounding walls. "But I haven't even taken a class yet!" she protested to the world at large. "How'm I supposed to know any kind of answer at all?"

The walls did not care. The desk did not care. The chair especially did not care. Tamsin's ears folded back and a faint whine escaped her as she stared down at the paper. She contemplated running away for a moment... but no. Pack. She had to do her best for the pack.

... Surprisingly, the first part wasn't hard at all. Nor was the second, or the third. It wasn't until the fourth section that she realized somebody had set the tip of her tail on fire, and she spent half the time snarling and putting it out, and the other half chasing her tail because they'd called attention to it, damnit.

And then the floor opened up and swallowed her, which was just about what she'd been wishing might happen, though she hadn't thought it would be quite so literal.

What kind of a school was this, anyway?

It had taken West all of three minutes after sitting down for his agitation to reach about a quarter of its peak, which was probably triple the agitation level most could ever hope to reach in a lifetime. The point was, he was agitated. It was one thing to make everyone run a race, but what in Halloween did a quiz have to do with which dorm was the best? You didn't need brains to scare the crap out of humans. And if there had to be a test, why did he have to take it with all of these bombs and crossbows pointed at him?

The demon raised his penstrictor, preparing to write something scathing about Jack and his penchant for paisley thongs, when—

West awoke to a sensation he was unfamiliar with, and when he raised his head, he realized that was because no one had ever dared to stick their spit-covered finger in his ear before. His palms pounded the desk, spine straightening as he snarled, but Wet Willy was too quick to catch West's fist as he swung it at the disturbing alumnus. He caught a glimpse of Levi's ears and curious expression and he shook his head as if to indicate the entire incident was unimportant as the loopy ear-toucher skipped off toward his next victim. The demon kind of sucked at math, but he managed to guess at a few correct answers, not realizing he had already missed an entire section of the exam due to sudden unconsciousness.

A quiz?

Alright, Serafina could handle a quiz. Even if it was in a chair she had an innate sense she probably should not be sitting in. Would this be anything like that career examination?

Her instinct was to look for gnomes.

Okay, no gnomes.

Good.

Serafina twirled her pen around before getting to work on the quiz. The first section was history. While she wasn't exactly a history buff, she very obviously wasn't that bad at this. In fact, she was getting through the questions with relative ease. Perhaps, though, it was because she had noticed someone beside her ...

... No, that couldn't be it.

Serafina didn't cheat. The person next to her kept eyeing her a bit, though, and perhaps she was eyeing them quite a bit...

This was a competition, though! -- And it was a competition she was determined to win. Keeping up the pace, she flipped to the next section, finding herself faced with ... The Dreaded Math...

Whatever kind of demon had come up with this nonsense deserved everything they got, but no matter what they had gotten, Serafina still needed to get through this section. It came a bit slower, this time, but Serafina was a fairly smart young woman and didn't have a terrible amount of trouble solving some of the problems at all. In fact, some of these problems seemed like they were a bit too easy. Was this a joke?

... Was that a joke?

What was this, a diary page? Ranting about their life and drama with Trick or Treaters... Serafina squinted at the page. This had nothing to do with anything! She scoffed at the page, putting it aside and into her pocket. Must have been a mistake...

Humans. Serafina would fully admit that she didn't really understand humans at all. All she knew is that a group of them had blown up the Four Clans and perhaps could she just write "HORRIBLE" on all of these questions? She scrunched her nose. It was hard to see anything good about these strangely shaped, inaccurate diagrams when she could still very clearly see in her mind the destruction that humanity could cause. They needed humanity, but ...did they really?

Serafina felt like she was being watched, and so, she looked over her shoulder. When she did, someone suddenly became wide eyed and started to scribble on their paper. Serafina was offended. Someone was cheating on her?! The nerve! Serafina leaned in closer to her paper, protecting it rather viciously even throughout the next section. Of course, she was doing much better at this particular section than she had the prior one, so perhaps the cheater had the right idea when he continued to stare at her paper throughout the literature section.

Serafina tried to stop it. She leaned in closer, narrowed her eyes, and let out a small, very quiet hiss in the direction of the student who thought he was ever so clever for cheating.

Yeah, maybe her answers were right, but that didn't mean he had to cheat!

Eventually, she managed to throw him off, but that was only once she had gotten through the last section that had seemed to be entirely random in its design. Perhaps he had just finished, too...

Oh Jackdammit.

Serafina decided not to focus on it, quickly shoving her quiz away to cut him off--if she still could, anyway--to hand it in appropriately.

Iggy settled herself in the desk with some trepidation, She knew she wasn't the brightest candle in the jack o'lantern! Hopefully the test would have something she knew a little bit about!
History - ok, that shouldn't be too bad! Iggy quickly went through the first few questions. She turned the page to see: How many cups of boo broth goes into a proper Pumpkin Stew?
What does that have to do with history? she muttered. Someone must have been tipsy when they put together my booklet!
Next came Math! Numbers were fun and Igneous was able to quickly get that section complete!
Human Studies - another easy section! She had loved the stories her gnome caretaker had told her when she first came to life. The fact that they were all about the human world made them even more exciting!
Literature wasn't too bad even though she had never heard of some of the writers in that section. One whole page was in a language she didn't even recognize. By the time she reached it her brain was beginning to feel a bit numb so she quickly skipped over it to the last section.
As Igneous turned to the last section her weight finally caused the chair she was sitting in to give way. Her paper and pencil went flying! Unfortunately, the pencil landed point first in the back of her hand. OUCH!
She tugged and pulled but the blasted pencil was stuck in there and would not be moved. As she gathered up her papers to hand them in she glanced at the last questions. First Aid 101: Dealing with Puncture Wounds
Well, at least she didn't nearly drown in mud this time!

Oh great, a written test.

Seiji took a seat, fingertips drumming on the edge of the desk as the mechanical whir of things moving around him took nerves from borderline and cranked them up about five notches. The hungry ghost already wasn't a fan of theory, but add to it what looked like repercussions for wrong answers? Oh yeah, that was just lovely.

With a heavy, useless breath the boil flipped his page over and got down to work. He'd gone so far as to write his name before the first series of questions made him pause, reading through all of them, before frowning at the page. Recipes? What the Jack?

Well, if there was one thing the jikininki knew, it was food, and he seemed to breeze through the first section before coming to a grinding halt at the second. Numbers covered the page. Littered it, and Seiji gave a low groan as he slid his fingers through his hair, forcing whatever stray strands back that had hung in his face.

Desperation had him leaning back in his chair, arms folding behind his head as he rolled his eyes to the side. Hoping to catch a glimpse of another paper. It didn't really help much.

Somehow her powered through math and moved onto the next section, but this one wasn't much better then the last. He stared down at his page, squinting at it as he tried to make sense of some of the questions. He was bilingual, which was something, but whatever language the later half of this section was written it, it wasn't English, and it wasn't Japanese. After the seventh question he gave up and moved on.

The next section was an unexpected breeze. Seiji wasn't big on books, but he was a huge movie lover, and he'd somehow managed to luck out and have every question in the fourth section circulate around books that had been made into movies. It was an amazing stroke of luck, and when he'd finished with the tenth question he would have sworn the page beneath his pencil gave a soft, golden glow.

Radiant!

Unfortunately that luck didn't continue.

It wasn't that the last section was difficult. It was just that his desk turned on him suddenly, snapping at his hand.

Well, that was that. No more test for Seiji!

Aldara was not entirely fond of tests; especially not after the aptitude test gone awry. That said, she wasn't about to let some other dorm win just because she'd skipped out on this event. Huff.

Penstrictor in hand, she flipped the booklet open to the first section. Her brow furrowed again as she skimmed through the questions in the first section to figure out what she was up against before going back to #1. Halloween first originated when...

"Bags." She muttered, glancing around quickly before making herself buckle down to focus every bit of her recollection on stories that she'd heard. It had all started somewhere, right?

Amazingly enough, it was the next section that she seemed to simply breeze through. Maybe it was all of the shopping and counting her pumpkin seeds, but math just seemed to come naturally to Aldara and she was very pleased with herself by the end of section two.

It seemed as though the section itself was just as pleased, glowing with a golden orange-y light.

Before she could begin to boggle over section two a trap door opened beneath her chair, sending both she and it tumbling down into a pit. The harpy let out a shriek as she fell into a heap on the splintered chair beneath her. No one had warned her about that and now she was just plain irritated.

Huffing she began to work on pulling herself out of the pit, talons sinking into the walls to aid in the climbing process until she was safe again...

Section three now completely missed, she simply moved on to section four.

Still partially seeing red, and now without a chair to sit in, Aldara hunched over her desk while standing, trying to make sense of the words on the page. Her nose wrinkled as she tried to make out exactly what was written, lips forming words that were uttered beneath her breath.

"Double, double toil and... No, no, that will never do. Silly girl. Silly girl!" Something overtook her and, if she was lucky that something would have a better understanding of everything than she did. If not? Well, at least she hadn't scribbled those nonsense answers down?

After the final question of section four the presence left Aldara to her own devices. The harpy ghoul caught a little note scribbled to her at the bottom of the page before she shook her head, turning to the start of section five.

At least this time she was prepared for all of the randomness and maybe just a bit of outside wisdom had lingered behind from whatever spirit had possessed her. She went with it and was greeted by another glowing golden orange page.

After what seemed like a lifetime of flinching at watching students in the obstacle course, Hethel was fascinated by the appearance of what looked like honest-to-goodness educational activities. She had shuffled up to a desk to peer over the pages when the cubicles sprang into action, engaging death quiz mode. ಥAಥ How could she have fallen for such a trap? With non-cooperation obviously not an option, Hethel sat herself on the chair and poured her attention onto the quiz as a distraction from her exasperation if nothing else.

She had never studied Halloween History but figured that her long memory may come of use. Hethel read the first question. And then read it again. And again, yet it would not start to make sense to her. She began to mutter under her breath. "What does fyorshglbbarth, ehenyaerryn sjlske even me-" minipets erupted from seemingly everywhere, tackling her with wild-eyed intent. The humbugs that had been resting on her back flew up and watched as she struggled with the horde, spinning on her feet as she attempted to fling the offending creatures off of her with systematic determination- causing some of them to land in adjacent stalls. For all of their efforts, they could not manage to bring Hethel to the ground, but it was a long and painstaking fight and by the end of it, some agile minipets still coursed around her fur and feathers like squirrels running around a tree. Confused and suspicious that it might happen again, she had no choice but to settle back down and continue with what little time she had left.

She started the next section swallowing a miced tea from the minipets ordeal and popping another one into her mouth. Having never done math besides counting before, many wrinkles of incomprehension appeared in Hethel's brow throughout the section. Thankfully, she was focused enough not to be bothered by the pained screams and eruptions of blood from other cubicles, and proceeded through the section answering the occasional easier questions.

Hethel wished she could say that the human world studies section passed like a breeze, but many of the questions and diagrams had seemed entirely off, leaving her questioning at the end if she really had any knowledge of humans to begin with. The rewarding warm glow from the pages after she was done failed to comfort her on the matter.

Literature was always one of Hethel's favorite things. She read through all the text, regaining some state of contentment. She answered the questions with disgracefully awful handwriting until she hit Zoo's forbidden secret contract of passionate passion, a bit of 'juicy' literature that left her rather disturbed. There was no question involved, but Hethel did not hesitate to simply bar the whole thing and write "No." Apparently that was the right answer as well as the last question in that section, as the pages began to glow their approval.

Starting to get a hang of this quiz thing, Hethel tackled the general questions in a relaxed manner. Rather than there being a last page however, she found a coarse piece of bark. She held it up between two fingers, wondering if it was a reward for having finished. After a full three minutes had passed, she stuffed it into her hood without any further question.
