"My sweet Koume Shizuka," her had to smirk at that since so far the lovely lady in his head was anything but. But she proved useful and awesome, was easy to pose with if needed and spin around with a little bit of flair. If there was anything in Chel's expression that she as jealous, he didn't catch it but fed her a compliment unprompted anyways, "So, can I start callin' you ZyuPink with your badass bow?" 'cause you know, her hair color.. and the weapon.. and Mei used one and rocked it. She might not get the reference, wait. "The first pink Power Ranger." That one.

The loud explosion made his head turn, spotting Jerry with an equally large weapon as Rep. With like massive fire power. He let out a whistle and then was once again pulled in by Chel. The brunette leaned in to her secret talks, digesting what she was talking about; thank goodness for random encounter with Jerry or he might not understood all that. Portals, batteries. And ice cream, she had mentioned that before. "You can totally count me in," he replied in a low voice as he leaned a little on Koume with her blade planted in the ground. "Shall I pass the invite to anyone?" There weren't many he knew but hey, there might have been some he did.

Sin looked at the lollipops with thoughtful glance.. "Open up." He poked a blueberry lollipop into her mouth. When everybody began to participate in Allen-taichou's wonderful exhibition, Sin shook his head. "You going to play in that show-off game?" No judgement meant in those words, but that was the clearest way to describe it.

"I've been ordered not to play." A brief conversation with his weapon had decided that for Sin. Sin had no objections on that part anyways since an exhibition of skill wasn't his style."It sure is fun to see everybody else though!" Sin didn't get this chance often.

Jerry had fallen back from the dummies to stretch his shoulders, about to take aim once more when the trainee's conversation drifted his way... He turned to stare at Sin with his brows furrowed. "Excuse me, but show-off game? You mean training? Who ordered you not to train?" He pushed his glasses up his nose, "Cause I heard our leader order the opposite."

Sure Allan's methods were unconventional, but he appreciated their division lead's jolly teachings. Just being in the room, the red headed man lifted everyone's spirits- at least his own. His own wariness and depression had been lifted when the candy had exploded forth- wasn't that what the trainees had generally been asking for just moments ago? For them to lighten up? Allan was about as light as it came here, and it was always a breath of fresh air. "I hate to tell you, If one of these creatures rears their ugly heads, you aren't going to stop them with a pretty look. We're Suns. THIS," he gestured to where the others were still making mincemeat of the practice dummies, "Is what we're here to do."

Rep returned from the dummy just in time to catch the exchange between Jerry and Sin. "Training isnae showing off. Practice can be the difference between dying and not. We are front line. If you are a bit shy about whipping it out when everyone's watching you are going to be up s**t creek. Death are about concealed weaponry and s**t." He shrugged, it wasn't his business, but he couldn't help but feel an uneasy lack of camaraderie about someone who wouldn't join in with their peers, as if there was perhaps something to hide.

No, this is definitely a show off game, Stryker commented at the current bitchfest rising amongst the sun hunters. You should try again, ghoul, 'cause right now you're in last place. Leave the witty sayings for our down time.

"Right-o! Nothin wrong with showing a bit of plumage while getting business done, but hittin a sittin target ain't quite like shootin a turkey neither." Swinging Stryker around, she released him at a slightly different point in his arc. The hit still wasn't much in comparison to the other hunters, but the small improvement was improvement nonetheless.

Blueberry. Good choice. Sucking on the lollipop that was given to her by Sin, Kat's attention shifted to Jerry as he called Sin on his choice of words. Pulling the candy from her mouth, she rubbed at the side of her head. "Heyyy, calm guys." She waved her hand lazily at the taller males. "After all, Allan had already worked so hard to keep everyone hospitable during this meeting, right?" Personally, she just didn't want another argument erupting over something so trivial. "But yeah. Like he said, Allan asked for us to take a shot at the training dummy, so best not keep him waiting."

Getting up from where she sat, Kat made her way towards the training dummy. Summoning one of her guns, she fired a shot at it, before turning back to face them with a cheeky grin. "I barely grazed it, heh heh." A fine example of a full sun hunter. /end sarcasm/

This called for more caffeine, and lots of it.

Stopping them with a pretty look? Sin raised his eyebrow. Well, on one hand, he was pretty handsome.. but putting these jokes aside (Sin having a feeling that these people wouldn't appreciate the humor), and recognizing these two from the earlier argument, he scratched his head, wondering if he shouldn't have chosen his words better.. but it still didn't change his opinion. Unless it was their commanders, he had no intention of watching every word he spoke for fear of offending the higher-level hunters.

Kat had already told them to calm down and Sin couldn't disagree. He wasn't interested in starting another fight after Allan's efforts. Sin has nothing against the sun leader. In fact, Sin liked his unconventional methods, preferring him greatly over a stick-in-the-mud commander. He was even eating the lollipop than Allan's pinata had resulted in as he spoke. However, he knew that he needed to answer. "I'm all for sun." He tilted his head to grin. "If our commander ordered me to spar with somebody in the fields, run a few laps, or practice all night, I would gladly do so." He took his duties seriously within the Sun division (.. as much as he could anyways).

Far from being shy, which would be a pretty funny considering all these personality types, Sin would say it was for a different reason. "But let's just say I'm not interested in proving myself for somebody else's sake? Isn't it my choice whether to choose to participate or not?" He had nothing to hide, but he had nothing to prove either.

"By all means, continue to shoot a dummy in a meeting where everybody can admire it."

Jordan looked thoughtfully at the participants in the argument, then, without saying anything, summoned Ferros and walked calmly over to bring the huge hammer down hard on a dummy, flattening it with a crackle of snapping supports.

"So you are calling all of us show offs who are just doing it to be admired and are basically saying you are superior to us because you can choose whether to participate or ******** not with your grandiose intelligence." He snorted and flipped the bird at the other man, his already short patience completely expired.

"Whatever. ******** you man. By all means keep being a condescending c**t, it will make you lots of ******** friends. "

Bix smiled when Jordan flattened the dummy. He loved that huge hammer... it was so damn cool.

People were getting riled again and he sighed and rubbed his eyes a moment. "Did you ever think, as trainees, you've gotta show us what you can do? Not for showing off. Do you even know what Sun does? Tactics and Offense. As a tactical specialist," he tapped a patch on his coat that only HE had, "We can hardly plan tactics or place you properly for training and development, if you won't even wield your weapon for your Division Leader. Are we also to believe that out in the real world you were a weapons expert in .... whatever it is you wield? Maybe you belong in Death.. with your secrets." And having the division lead almost murder you for disobeying. That would be a wake up call. "We have to go out there on the front lines and if all of us can't even be on the same page for a simple exercise, how do you think the fighting is gonna go?"

Bix probably sounded more tired of all of this than anything. As much as he was addressing Sin, he was also addressing ALL OF THEM. But for once he couldn't blame the hotheads. Were the trainees being difficult on purpose? Did they come pre-shipped with built in egos?

Ssssseems like it. Nothing wrong with sssshowing off anyway. Mina hissed in his mind.

Really? This was happening again?

Peyton stared at her fellow trainees, pale gaze flicking from face to face before rolling up to Rep, and Bix. She remembered being a surly pain in the a** right out of the pod, but she also remembered realizing really damn fast that you didn't want to pick fights with the full hunters. You also didn't want to disobey orders, or carry too big a chip on your shoulder.

She also knew, from painful experience, that you did not want to paint a target on your back or alienate yourself from your comrades.

"It doesn't hurt to just take a swing at the dummy, except maybe your pride if you miss." Her tone was flat, unimpressed, and mildly irritated. "But it does hurt to not even try, and then to turn around and insult our division mates with poor word choices."

Deep breaths. Jerry closed his eyes, shifting his cannon on his shoulder as he tried to calm himself down. Was this really what their Division was made of? He glanced at Pey, thankful for her and Bix stepping in. He had flashbacks of the classroom, of the students constantly disrespecting him, of teasing him without fear of detention- hey, detention just made them look 'cooler'.

"If you think this sass will get you points with the ladies, I certainly hope not." He saw him flirting with Kat, but she knew how Sun rolled- she was a good Sun herself. But this kid? "You shouldn't be afraid of failure. There's a lot worse things out there to be afraid of than looking a bit silly if you miss a target during practice. No need to disrespect your whole division. We all missed when we first started, even practice dummies. There's no shame in that. You don't need to be intimidated." He gave the trainee a soft smile edged in pity. "If you're afraid of THIS, then maybe you should think about switching divisions- cause hitting as hard as you can is what being a Sun is all about."

Exiting Twitter, America pocketed her phone to get back to business. Another swing and excited whoop! from Stryker had that big old ball of fiery pain quickly snapping toward America's target and hitting it cleanly and pretty as pie. "Ye-aaaaa!" She crowed, giving a victorious fistpump and tossing the ball up lightly to slap it up with her hand.

High Five!

Damn right!

Catching what the Jerry guy was nattering on about, America snorted, "Sounds more like preachin is what this group is about, if ya'll are anything to go by. Man doesn't want to, and our scout leader didn't give anybody an order, he just asked if we wanted to try. Far as I'm concerned, pretty dude is showin ya'll the glory of his resolve, just like Mr. Leader was so keen on."

Some eye-rolling may have commenced.

Dakota happened to walk by all the suns, and then jogged over to see a bunch of them.

"Are we proving are strengths right now?" Dakota pulled out Chama and swung the sword around. Then threw it at the dummy.....where it barely knicked.

"Hold on, That was me being a moon okay."

"Oh boy.." For God's sake, this was starting to get ridiculous. Waving them off Kat moved back to where she sat, resting her cheek upon her fist again. Tired and irritated now.

People really needed to calm down and not get so worked up over someone's personal opinion. Sin, like a lot of the other trainee sun hunters were new. They would learn the ropes of Sun division over time.

Dakota got a suspicious look when he arrived. "Oh Dakota.. Are you lost again?" She asked, giving the taller boy a cheeky smile.
