Igny's shadowy form separated for a moment in terror as large winged creatures approached her, almost taunting her. "Oh um ... pardon me ... I seem to be in the wrong place ...!"
One came in close, and she swiped a hand in defense, terrified for her very being. Unfortunately they took this as insult and turned red with anger. This was not going as well as she would have hoped.

A scream sounded from the top of the mountain. Not from the harpies, mind you, but from Igny. She was running around the cliffs, dangerously close to the edge. Truthfully, she was more afraid of being ripped to pieces by harpies than she was of falling off the cliffs.
The screams actually seemed to confused the harpies for a moment or two. Only a moment though.

It was swaying and she lost her grip on the hand rail. She squeaked and ran forward a bit furthur before it stopped shaking.

Whatever Igny was doing, it seemed to be working. The harpies were both confused and injured by her wild, panicked flailing. They would swoop in, and she would slap them in the face.

Holy - were those harpies? Sarviur cocked his head back, and stared.
Also he picked up a rock and threw it at one of them, but it kind of glanced off. Boo. At least it had hit!

In her rampage of terror, Ying tripped over a rock, flinging it upwards and into one of the Harpies' eyes.
She was winning this battle through sheer accident.

The harpies were going ballistic. How could they be losing to such a small, insignificant shadowling? There were only a few left now, and Igny, for the most part, was unphased.

Sarviur tossed another rock, and despite the large population of the flock, he missed again. Why did this keep happening aaaaugh.
Undeterred, the harpies came even closer, swiping at him more, and he felt himself trying to protect his little heart, and failing.
