Grey eyes remained narrowed on the dark haired girl a moment longer as she wheezed, then turned back to Dustin with some disappointment at the mention of the bar closing before perking right back up at the offer to continue their evening elsewhere.

"I'm down for whatever, just as long as the nights not over yet." Location didn't matter much to her, they could go wherever, or stay on the beach. Six of one, half a dozen of another.

It looked like Venice had a plan as she snaked between herself and the young man, pulling them along by arm and shoulder. "It's been barely ten minutes, there's no way you're sobering up already."

The night went well, as was to be expected. Or at least as Elijah like to expect. He was the life of the party, after all, and that was how things should be. At the proper age for drinking, he'd managed enough of a buzz to make everything fun and from there, it had been easy to find a couple of girls to impress. The pair the tall man ended up with were friends, a blonde and a red head, who found it amazing what that he could do handstands on one hand.

The tricks he performed for their amusement got progressively more flamboyant and impressive as the night went on, performed between songs when he danced with both girls. It was a little sad that they were so short... barely reaching his chest, but he didn't let that bother him for long. Couldn't, even, not when both of their attentions were focused squarely on him. The show had to go on, after all!

The fireworks were welcome when the time came and Elijah dragged the girls out to the sand to flop down and watch, one arm draped over each set of shoulders. Of course, there was a lot of giggling going on and general drunken conversation, so the fireworks might not have gotten as much focus as they deserved, but honestly he didn't much care. The fourth of july was an American holiday and the Brit was really just here for the two girls he had under his arms and the party atmosphere.

All too soon, the party was wrapping up and the drunk girls were begging off further fun in favor of finding a cab home. Elijah didn't mind too much, aware he had to be up early if he was going to stick to his routine. His head would be hell in the morning, but damn it, tonight had been fun.

Waving to the girls as they got into the cab, the tall man decided he'd take himself home under his own steam, maybe sober up a little bit and so he wandered off down the street, his steps only a little unsteady.
