Brise and Reiko continued to play and goof around, lightening the mood as much as they could until they stopped at night. Brise hurried off to find some moss and soft branches and brought them back, making a nice soft bed for Reiko and waited until she was comfortable and eating some Sweet Grass he brought her before he settled in beside her.
Cedomir settled down with his back to the group a ways away. He had been silent through the walk, and now he was quiet, though his ears were no longer plastered to his head. His tail lightly flicked against the ground as he looked up at the stars above, counting constellations and trying to clear his mind under the clear night sky.

Reiko happily snuggled into Brise's side as he joined her, closing her eyes and quickly falling asleep.
Deldragan took the opposite side of the group that Cedo did, sighing. This brother of his... he was making things so complicated!
Acacia settled down by her father, sighing quietly at both of the brothers. Del was just trying to help her out, but both of them had sparks flying off of them...

Cedomir couldn't sleep, long after the heavy breathing of Brise and Reiko filled the air. He turned and looked longingly at Acacia, her pretty pink flowers and small white swirls... Her intelligent eyes and her brilliant mind. "Acacia...I love you..." He lightly whispered her name, unaware that the wind would blow his words to her. He then lay down his head, his eyes still on Acacia until he closed them, trying to fall asleep but failing miserable so that with every sleep motion of the others his eyes popped open again, until he finally got up and stretched his legs.

Cedomir's words carried and made Acacia blush horribly. Oh, how happy she was that it was already dark... She buried her face into her father's side, embarrassed and confused. How did she deal with this? How did she confirm her own feelings towards the younger stallion? And if she did love him, how would she tell him without embarrassing him...?

Morning dawned and Cedomir hadn't slept a wink. He stood and had wandered off aimlessly, wondering about possibly finding food... but where had Brise found that sweetgrass? Cedomir was too proud to ask.
Brise grinned as he woke up before Reiko. He stayed where he was, his head over Reiko's as he let her sleep on.

Acacia sleepily watched Cedo wander off, getting to her feet and trotting after him. Where was he going...? Didn't he know that straying from the group wasn't safe? That was one of the first things her father had taught her.

Cedomir grinned when he found the patch of sweetgrass and settled in to graze for a bit on the edge, getting a good mixture of the regular greens and the sweetgrass. He hummed as he ate, unaware of Acacia's approach.

Acacia was going to go talk to him, but then she lost her nerve. She decided to graze near Cedomir instead, remaining a minimum of a few feet from him. Ugh... he made her so nervous now!

Cedomir stopped grazing and looked at the pair of eyes that were watching him. He was silent for a moment, watching her watch him. If only he knew what to say and how to break the ice!
Unfortunately he made the mistake, or perhaps the right choice, in ignoring his pride and better judgement and rushed towards her, nuzzling her with all his might.

Acacia was startled when Cedomir suddenly ran at her, but then he started nuzzling her. A weight lifting off her shoulders, she nuzzled him back in attempt to return the affectionate gesture--and what it implied.

Acacia blinked, smiling slightly. "About...?" she prompted. About the nuzzling or about not expressing his feelings?

Cedomir looked at her and then looked at the ground, shrugging before mumbling. "I dunno... for being an a**? Everything I suppose.. I'm not... very good at saying what I feel... What I think? yeah sure... but what I feel? Not at all..." He was silent a moment but looked up at Acacia to see if she was following. "Do you get what I'm trying to say?"

Acacia's smile widened, containing all of the warmth that had faded during the previous day. She lightly pressed her forehead to Cedomir's, white eyes sparkling. "I think so," she replied softly. Then she lightly nosed his neck as she continued. "You're opinionated, but not expressive... at least, not verbally expressive of your emotions." She slid by him, letting her coat brush his. "A warrior's not supposed to show emotions... or something like that?" There was no bitter sarcasm or irritation in her voice, only a playful, teasing tone. She circled him, letting her pelt brush his on the other side and letting her gaze find his again. "But you know, you're more transparent than you think."

Cedomir blushed, more at her touch than her words. "Transparent I may be, I blame my 'stoniness' on having a bunch of siblings that tease at the slightest hint of emotion." He replied cooly, looking at her level-y but his eyes sparking with emotion.
