He made his way toward the cave, trying not to think too much about the situation. He was still extremely uncomfortable with helping a kalona.

He nudged her toward the entrance, "I feel as though if she can't walk into a cave she won't make it."

He made sure Auster had her well enough that she wouldn't fall then turned to leave.

Auster led her into the cave and helped lower herself to the floor. He could find a rat or a squirrel somewhere and kill it for her. Then they could leave her in good conscience. Auster headed off to find a squirrel or a rat.

Euth returned with the filled vessel, heading into the cave to put it down inside.

Judah was very still. She glanced up at Euth when he reentered, but made no move. "Why are you helping me?" she rasped.
