Meiloyn lied down in the sand. "It's definitely going to be tough, sleeping when there are restless spirits around."

"I agree. Just the thought that we are stranded is going to keep me up all night."

Meiloyn recalled the story the innocent spirits told her. "The reason why several people went to the Fiji islands and never returned was because of the cannibal spirits. They took over the explorers and they became cannibals, too. The explorers fought a bloody, primitive battle, and they all devoured each other. The one cannibal left had been completely taken over. He could not leave the island. But when the cannibals died, their souls were free. They were here ever since, to warn us." She sensed the explorers' spirits fly overhead.

Brandon was listening to the conversation and uttered out "Yeah, well if any of the basterds get close to me I'll..." he was soon cut off as he noticed his gun was not in his pocket. He had permission to bring it on the plane being that he was on military duty, it must fell into the depths of the ocean in the crash. "s**t..."

Meiloyn continued, "You can be possessed by a spirit, but if your soul is stronger, you can fight it off and win control of the body. I don't think you can win against these cannibal spirits. Since we're from a modern time, most of us don't bother to strengthen our souls. These spirits were from an ancient civilisation, so they may have believed in spirits and gods and tried to strengthen their souls. I don't think we can win against such powerful spirits."
