She winced as she was thrown back, thankful Lucky was able to quickly patch her up. Careful meant not using the charge she's built up, and as ever they had to rely on it to get things done. It gave her a sense of import, by also anxiety at messing up. But she merely gave the Lifer a nod and a touch of the shoulder before she was back in again.

She tried, she really did. The charge had been out and ready to ignite. But THE DANG WET FLOOR STRUCK AGAIN.
There was an explosion, a strong burst of sulfuric smell, and a mewling cry for Lucky to get out just before she grabbed her pendant and ported out.
