The spirit-possessed centaur did not slow as he reached the Temple, but merely galloped up the steps, heedless of his footing. His only mission was to deliver the severely injured Vahn to the building, and nothing would stand in his way.
The doors to the Temple opened as he approached them, and he demurely carried Vahn to the site. Because he could go no further with the events unfolding.
As soon as Vahn would dismount, the centaur would collapse, stone dead.

Shouyin Tapping the wall gently, he watched as two stones, each about the size of a guy's fist, would fall innocently from the temple ceiling, and clunk against Deg's head. The sound of stone caused Charles to look up. Nonchalantly, Charles's scythe was removed from its sheath and cut through the rocks, splitting them in two and falling to either side of the Chauffeur. "That was..... dumb."

Screech to a halt... the arrival was made. With chest heaving from running a marathon through most of the major cities- and you have no idea how much that hurt- Laz was there.
And from a combination of not-yet-settled stomach and the energy flying around for the theatrics, he wanted to lose his lunch. But that would deplete his stamina bar and he'd have to do the whole Survival Viewer thing over again.

Flare kept one arm around Owle, and presumably Rage moved to hold her as well. The demoness followed Owle down to the sand of the desert floor, just holding her.
The snakes had never allowed for her to like them. Now, they nearly made the demoness step back as Owle sobbed helplessly. It was something like every bit of determination and anger Owle had ever felt in the entire time Flare had known of her existence had suddenly been given form.
You will not harm me.
She held her ground, and held her sister.

Rage had no such experience with the snakes - but he didn't need a sense like that to tell that something was wrong. For one of the few times in his life, he felt...
... scared.
Owle was in pain, and Rage felt like he couldn't do a damn thing about it. It was a sickening feeling in his stomach and he didn't know what to ******** that.
He'd do anything he could. He promised he would take on the gods themselves. And damn it, he would. Holding her as close as was reasonably possible with Flare, he put his head next to her ear.
"I dunno if you can hear me, sis. But I'm here right beside you. I promised you I'd protect you from anything... and I'll strike down the gods if I have to to keep you safe. Because that's what big brothers do. We don't want to see our little sisters cry. You gotta put on a smile, Owle. You told me that you wanted me here so that you'd remember who you were. You're Owle. Owle Isohos."
He paused for a moment, looking like he was out of words to say before whispering "I love you, sis. So come back to us safe."

From when the minivan stopped in front of the temple some time earlier, Stryphe had watched all that had been going on in silence- he didn't join Al and Degs up with Owle, Flare, and a familiar green-haired guy. Stryphe noticed other people he'd seen in the last week or so- it seemed everyone who wasn't the run-of-the-mill civilian was here in this desolace, like they usually were when major things like this happened.
But as to what was actually happening here, Stryphe had no clue. A gathering of the some of the strongest people in Gaia, a blood sacrifice, and crystalline temple in the middle of somewhere that hadn't previously existed. The details of all these things were still mysteries- the man Al had shown Stryphe only gave a clue as to what the icing was on the cake of plot. Yes, all mysteries- aside from one thing: the symbols of good and evil that appeared once the temple doors opened.
But even that one thing that showed that this situation really wasn't much different from all others before soon was turned to ash.
He really didn't know what to think, here. It would seem that a handful of the people that had been outside the temple moments ago might know what's going on here, but it would be difficult to reach them.
"Guess there's only one thing to focus on right now," He said, watching a centaur carry a wounded passenger into the temple, "and that's making sure no Gaian falls victim to this design."
And with that, he hastened towards the open temple, halberd in hand. His first priority was to make sure that the one the unfortunate centaur had brought in would be out of harms way- the man didn't look to be in much condition to defend himself.
((Had to get that in before saturday.))

Far be it for a simple narrator to explain the complexities of the human, or meta-human, mind. None of us are really sure what happened to Jin after he mysteriously vanished leaving no traces behind... except that now he mysteriously appeared out of nowhere, here. I'd put money on that it's because s**t is about to go down. - = - "Hmm... curious place." Jin looked up at the outside of the Temple of Destiny, his burden slung over his left shoulder and his head tilted slightly to the right due to a crick in his neck. He wasn't sure that he had seen this place before, though who could be sure with the confusing nature of the Gaian landscape.

A peice of bacteria floated through the air towards Jin, harboring malicious intent. Completely unaware, Jin's next breath would bring into his body this variation of the wrhynoughvyrouse- the common Gaian cold.
Surely, he would be sneezing for days to come, assuming his immune system was anything like the normal Gaian's.

Jin would be infected if he kept up this lifestyle of wandering around and sleeping under the stars. The Barton area was nothing like the scorching deserts of Barthavos, and the cold wind that blew across the plains would be his undoing unless he got himself some DayQuil.

Rafe stood, the body in his arms melting into nothing but sparkles underneath the coat. That done, he tossed the coat back at Alexiel as he walked towards the man formally known as Leon only to watch in fascination along with the rest of them.
"...no..."
"....NO...."
He turned to the presented players, his hands before him almost pleading. "This man, he must be stopped." He ran his fingers through his hair, the blood soaking his hands from his child that he had murdered. "The game has driven him insane.."
He would then walk up to each of the people presented. "Please, he can create more havoc then the angels or demons ever thought about. We have but eight hours to find him and his...." he all but spit the word out. "..companions."
Rafe sighed as his back was turned from them towards the temple. "...before the gods decide the game is null and void and flood it anyways, doing as they wish. It will be worse then chaos. They will destroy everything in their desire to destroy each other."

((We got auto-warped, right?))
"What the heck... Is this?" Kit murmered, walking from the entranceway into the building. Looked like some kind of temple. It was pretty, but that's all. It was probably like the church, boring, noone here.... Nothing to do...
Blah blah blah blah.
That's when a huge wave of light appeared.
Kit fell over and shut his eyes as it passed through the temple.

First, there was the stick of gum to deal with. Almost as soon as he had snagged it, the doors to the temple flew open and everything around him was basked in an extremely bright light.
Then there was the sudden feeling of heat that washed over him. For a second, he thought he was dead, just like the angel and demon that had stood before him moments earlier. And now, well, s**t, he didn't even know what was going on. There was a guy, and he obviously felt some sort of pent up anger.
Athan's right hand curled into a tightly balled up fist. Here this guy was, delivering the sort of speech that only evil masterminds could ever think of, and he was just going to expect to walk away with whatever he had planned?
His eye twitched slightly at the arrogance of it all. Whether or not anyone else felt the same way was something that he didn't really care for anymore. The Viceroy had 'saved' them from killing each other, only to head off with enough power to destroy the entire universe?
Not on his watch.
The balance of power was leaning heavily against them at this point, but if there was one thing Athan appreciated being, it was the underdog.
His fist relaxed into an open palm, and he quickly unwrapped the piece of gum, folded it over once, and popped it into his mouth. Everything was gone around them. There was only one choice left, and the guy with the blood-soaked hands had the right mindset.
"Let's hunt that b*****d down."
