"Oh the name of the murderer? I think its like...flowers trolling us bro." He really looked at Ryan, "You seriously think that Killzone's grave would hold all the secrets to the council deaths?"
Oh that was a good question....
"I think it was friendship bands? I thought it was something defensive like Julie...not really a offensive weapon." He blinked as Kat joined them and nodded to her, patting a place next to him. "Hey there pretty little Kitten."
Her question made him stiffen before relaxing. Though Kat wasn't a long time friend like Ryan, she was still someone he knew and had stood with through one of those times where they would be killed before killing a friend.
"Nothing but flowers, dolphins and suspicion against friends." Dakota shrugged and went back to staring at Julies headstone. "I think Caelius did it but you know, that could be my internal hate for him rising and being spiteful."

"I don't know. Its better than thinking its a dolphin." He countered. Though what Dakota said was true. Its not like flowers some flowers were going to provide an answer. Unless maybe someone else was there and was trying to tell them something, without revealing themselves.
"Friendship.... bracelets...." He gave Dakota a blank look. Trying to get a mental image of this. "Are you sure those weren't some sort of runic item or maybe a desummoned form?" Really--a bracelet? How was that even a weapon?
And then Kat was back. "Hey Kat, still no luck?" He asked, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"I don't know. Caelius may be a colossal p***k, but I don't think he'd actually kill the council. I have a hard time picturing someone who follows every rule to the letter breaking them in such a big way."

Staring at Dakota a moment longer, Kat puffed her cheeks and glanced at the headstones. Well, judging from what he said, he saw exactly the same crap she had, so that meant that she was still only at square one. If this continued, she just might drop the whole 'investigation' all together. You'd think someone would give her something to go on. "Yeah, no. Nothing on my end." She answered Ryan.
She wasn't at all surprised to hear someone think that Caelius pulled it off. But honestly? She had no idea what to make of any of this. "Who knows? But I bet he has a lot of dark secrets."

Dakota just shrugged again and relaxed on his hands, turning his face to the Sky.
"Caelius would be my pick. He would do anything, like you said to follow the rules. You think council always followed the rules bro?" He looked at Ryan and then Kat and shrugged again. "That's my opinion, Of anyone, I think Caelius has the most motive to go after anybody."
"We'll have to wait and see though. The only people I find suspicious are the ones that aren't nervous and keep their cool. This is death we're talking about, not a game. Everyone is nervous...."
"Probably. But who doesn't?" Though it was true that Caelius had a lot of mystery surrounding him.
"They kind of were the rules." He pointed out. Pretty much whatever the council ordered, the hunters followed. "I don't deny that Caelius is suspicious, but I don't know. I just can't see him doing it. Though it would explain that massive gash on the table. Not even Rep's weapon left a mark like that and its huge. Then again, I imagine a lot of the division leads could probably leave an impressive mark."
He shrugged again. "Nervousness can also be a sign that they at least know something about it. Not everyone can hide their it. But I agree. I imagine whoever actually did commit the murder would be able to keep a cool demeanor when asked about it."

With no real success of getting an information out of people, Kat made her way to the one person she might have some success with. Mark.
Not bothering to knock on his door, Kat barged in, pleased to find that he was indeed within.
"Why hello, Mark~"
The greeting went as well as any other, as did his answers when asked questions. She did take note that most of his action figures were missing, and that he was possibly in a worse mood then before. Then again, that could have been the whole gagging, strangling and unconscious leap from the window yesterday talking.
Though his last words were not enough to make her stop.
"Well, if I don't get information, you'll never see your precious Hulk junior again. Well.. maybe bits and pieces here and there.."

Moving outside, he asked around and got word of another higher up named Clarice that was out in the garage. He hadn't been at a garage in over 3 years, and it reminded him of his father. It was a rule that, considering Melvin had given up sports and other activities, that he help his dad every-so-often with the car. It was a bonding guy thing for his dad that Melvin humored, and he managed to help without actually getting too dirty - which required work and practice.
Walking in, he frowned at seeing the mess the woman was in, and she was just as upset to see him here. Seeing as she looked about to shoo him away, so he went ahead and just asked when she snapped about what he wanted.
What he got was a rather curt, short, and rather pissed off explanation that basically summed down to her not wanting to deal with some lower ranked officer poking his nose about. Not wanting to get hit by a wrench, he turned and headed out.

"Alright. I think I'm done asking around." He admitted. After ten people, he really wasn't sure he was going to find any more answers regarding the murder case. None of the lower ranked hunters seemed to really know anything either. It was probably time to hand in his results and leave it to someone more capable.
Which he did. Later that day, after making a few edits, he dropped by room 111, leaving the list behind in a sealed envelope. He doubted it would help, but at least he tried.

She really did not know what to think at this point in the game.
But it really was not a game, was it? To her at least it wasn't. Paper in hand she was not exactly sure what she would gain from talking with Clarice She did know, though, that it was the better option than talking with H.
Clarice at least seemed to have a head on her shoulders... that was not contorted.
Maybe H just scared her a little too much.
Ceres greeted the assistant with a smile and a nod, waiting for her to pause her messy work before asking. "Hey Clarice, can i ask you about the council if possible?"
Quote:
The assistant is busy working on another motorcycle prototype in her garage, stray smears of grease dappling both the hunter and her clothes.
Your inquiry is greeted with an impatient huff and a roll of her eyes, "Really? I was busy with the Insanity study when it happened," she smiles brightly, "kind of like how I'm busy now. There's nothing I can tell you that you won't be able to find in the official report or the surveillance footage." She stares at you expectantly until you leave.
She wasted no time getting to the point, making the female wince at the sudden response. She must not have been the first there to ask about this, but the reaction was enough to make her wonder.
Insanity? Could it be possible that she had something go wrong in her labs and it slaughtered the council?
Leaving left her thinking more than not.

Okay so... one off her list.
Now she decided, looking at the list, maybe best to approach a leader she did not know at all? Hmm... Who was this simon?
Digging around a little she finally located him, and asked him pretty much the same thing she had Clarice.
Quote:
Simon listens to you, expression solemn. Once you're done, he summons his weapons and takes aim. You should probably leave now.
"...Wha... The hell?" She said, eyes wide, staring down at the barrels of his dual guns.
She wasted no time to get away.

Really.... the fact she saw her life flash before her eyes was indication enough that maybe she should tread a little lighter than before.
Maybe stick to the leaders with boobs, at least Clarice had not tried to make her in to swiss cheese.
She practically almost ran in to her next contender, Blinking up at Sam with a 'oh s**t oops' face before asking questions
Quote:
"Oh?" Sam feigns surprise. "Why, that is super interesting. So you guys are like the Scooby Gang right?" Her voice is one-hundred percent patronizing. "Well then, I hope you run along now, let me know when you're ready to join the grown-ups outside the world of make believe."
"... and your blasted b***h too." She muttered under her breath, using the term for 'female dog' in the literal sense.

It was strange. the fact that these papers were left in the room, of all rooms, this one was chosen. It was a head scratching moment for leon as he read it over with a stern face. "They could have just left this in a locker or something, but to put it at the scene of the crime." It just didn't make sense to him. "whatever, its here now." It was part of the next step, maybe the test was over and now they could finally begin.
Asking loaded questions never seemed like a wise idea to the boxer, especially if it was asked to the wrong person and considering the listing present, there were quite a few of them. A few that he knew could have his head on the chopping block in an instant, or have him podded as the best case scenario.
it was a grim idea to mull over, was there a way to keep the suspicion of his tail while gathering a list of potential suspects? There really was one way to see, as Nid decided to speak up and put in his 2 dragonian cents.
The best course of action he could think of at first, was the question those that he did not know personally. "If they don't know me all to well, they can't think i'm being too suspicious, right?" is what he told himself in the mirror as he tucked the paper away and brought some index cards in its place. the data sheet itself may pose a problem if exposed to the wrong eye.
first things first, was footage in the boxers mind. There were a few places kept under watch as far as he noticed. That room however didn't seem as guarded as he might have hoped, considering the fact that they snuck into the high level clearance only scene. twice.
But the chance encounter of Lance before he entered the security room was a blessing and a chance the life hunter was not going to pass up. "Excuse me!" he spoke up, taking a brisk jog toward the hunter before he ollied out. "I was wondering, do you have the footage of hallway 4, section F, I want to review the traffic to and from the council room from that event." It was a simple request he felt.
And got an equally simple No back.
Quote:
Lance looks up at you with an odd look. "What about it? It's over and done with, and even I didn't get to look at the footage despite the fact that it's one of the few damn things I'm good for. I can't exactly go running around doing things other hunters can't stand for." He grumps and wheels off before you can reply.
.........................................
"i'll take that as a no." The door that closed in his face confirmed as much.

Having been caught the first time, Jason had waited a while before he returned to the small room, only to find the grate had been opened in his absence and there was a folder nearby. Retrieving one of the papers, he read it's contents and frowned. So everyone was a suspect? It was chilling to think that someone he had talked to may be the cause behind such a brutal mass murder.
Scanning down the list, he decided to go for someone he was not familiar with and moved off to the life labs, knocking on the door to Dwights office.
"Excuse me, sir" He said formally. "I was...er, wondering what you were doing on the night of the council incident?"
The lift hunters reaction to his question had him startled as well. "Ah! W-wait let me he-" He bent down to pick up some of the papers, and listened to the rest of it before the hunter...ran away.
It was like he had met a kindred soul. Or a very guilty hunter.
