"Try not to question it," he murmured towards the ice demon, having overheard him mentioning that he normally was unable to do this sort of healing, "You can now. You may as well make the most of it."
And perhaps it meant that somehow, the boy had acquired a new skill by some chance. It was hard to say for certain there. Shun just kept his eye trained on the larger shadowlings, keeping Yaya's words in mind. Watching the various figures, he poised himself before rushing ahead. With two quick slices here, followed up with a stab, he managed to bring down a handful more of these stronger shadows.
"I suppose a little boost couldn't hurt right now," he murmured under his breath after one of the creatures had retaliated with a strike of its own.

Don't question it. Right, right. Best to not think about it too much, it wasn't helping his aim any. He sighed shaking his head a bit before shrugging as he glanced off at what had been the gates. Even if it didn't seem to be helping too much, it did have some good to it probably. "I suppose." If it kept them beating the things down it was good enough really.
He flicked an ear back up as the boil spoke up before deciding perhaps another attempt was in order. Maybe, just maybe, he could get this right. Or at least before something bit at him again. A bit more frost to the air and voila, some success. Before he flinched a bit as he saw some of the shadowlings the reaper hadn't taken out came darting at him and knocked him over rather soundly.
Well Shun was feeling better and he was feeling a little less well. Oh well, some good was had. He grit his teeth as he got back up and dusted off the now dirt smeared white jacket grumpily, gaze shifting to the reaper. "Then just kill them for me since I can't." Not that the man wasn't trying, but the demon's mood was rather sour with the whole situation.

There was no pain as the strikes Olivia fended off for her comrades struck true, her body only reacting in momentum as it recoiled from the blows or as claws tore into more clothing and flesh. Not that she didn't like it, because being attacked in the first place was not very nice, but the little wight knew this was to protect the others so... it was alright. She could take it, her words to Amarus were true in her simple mind.
"You're welcome," she replied to Sin as she recovered herself from the blow she took. One of her bell sleeves was pretty much gone now, and the creatures had managed to cut through the second layer of cloth and got at the skin; that was annoying. "Stay safe!" Olivia chirped once again as she bounded off to see who else needed a little body shield.
Along the way, though, as she dodged and scrambled about, she found herself nearly a very impressive set of armor. And he received the nice customary pleasant stare of kindness that most everyone did on their first encounter - how long had he been there? After realizing he was offering something as well to help them as Miss Selene did, her kind stare turned to one of upmost thanks as she took it, returning to the fray and to the little creatures.
Might as well try to hit one. Olivia wasn't as skilled as, perhaps, Amarus or Shun in the art of fighting and again didn't have something impressive to offer in the form of an attack. No, the little wight simply kicked one with as much strength as she could muster. It sailed into the air, crashing into a few of its smaller friends but not without leaving a very decent sized gash in her leg. Well, that sucked. But, she still felt very good about herself for landing a hit.
Oh right, protecting others. Olivia spun in her step as she went back to her rounds. She was completely unaware of the efforts Molan had attempted, but she would have given her appreciation.

There was a mountainous sense of relief when he realized that, though the situation was just as dire as he'd expected, at least they had some of the teachers and Trick or Treaters on their side. Green eyes flicked to Selene and Ronin as the Nergal demon jogged onto the scene, acidic tendrils already wafting from his fingertips as the boil jerked his gloves off with his teeth, shoving them into a pocket. Clothes simply impeded his abilities sometimes. Claws unsheathing, extending, he took a vicious swipe at the nearest shadowling, simply to give himself some space.
It was the splash of blue and a harmony of tanned skin and dark hair that seized the blond's attention for good, however. Something in his jawline tensed as he came over with long strides, reaching out to brush softening fingerpads over Hadiyya's arm. "Yaya..." It was soft, a warm, concerned whisper, the word heavy with unspoken questions. She seemed unharmed, which was good. The ghoul wasn't alone either, which Sharra also considered a distinct benefit.
He looked over at the collapsed school gate, wincing subtly at the demolished fixture. "Seems like this is going well." He'd say hi to the others after they finished kicking the Jack-loving s**t out of these Shadowlings. The last thing they needed was for this infestation to consume Amityville.
Amityville had enough problems already.

Stiffening, Hadiyya turned to give the pale boil a rather baleful look at his comment. She didn't know him, and he had no place to criticize her efforts in this situation. A tanned hand rose, all but one finger curling in what would have been a gesture at the height of rudeness, but Muka's greeting distracted her and she turned instead to offer the owlish monster a large grin.
"You at least look like you're enjoying yourself." It was good to see him, and she certainly hadn't missed his impressive dealings with the shadowlings. "Keep up the good work, my friend! You'll have them running soon."
Shun spoke up, accepting her offer of a heal, and she obliged, reaching a hand out with the tips of delicate fingers encased in that healing water. "Of course." She touched his shoulder, but the contact was very brief. A brush to her arm distracted her, but it was the sound of her name that stole her attention completely.
"Sharra!" He'd barely have time to assess the situation before he'd find his arms full of marid. "Are you well?" He looked relatively unharmed, but it wasn't always so easy to tell.

Well at least the ghoul was trying to help, if she was paying attention. Not that he was going to say anything out loud, he'd failed enough times in a row to keep his mouth shut for now. Though that action she'd taken. He merely shook his head, obviously not the least bit impressed with her before turning his attention to more important matters.
Like a rather torn up little Olivia who was bounding back into the fray. She seemed well enough off and not too hurt, but he was still worried about the fact she was rather recklessly darting in. The little wight was an undead and probably didn't feel the actual pain these things were inflicting on her. Maybe it would be a good idea to check on her briefly.
A few steps as he carefully dodged around some of the rather cranky little creatures to avoid harm and he found himself near her as she was punting one away with some help from... a suit of armor. Right. "Olivia, are you certain you're fine?" Her clothing was in ribbons and she now had quite the gash on her leg? He didn't look much better with his own far less than white outfit at this point, but still... She seemed to be getting hit a lot more. Eyes shifted to the armor as he offered a polite nod since, perhaps the man was keeping a bit of an eye on the ghoul for them. "Appreciated." He added before looking back to the undead. "Just don't push yourself too hard?" He could only piece people back together so much it seemed, and well.. he was a bit worried. Ears drooped a bit until a thought dawned on him as another student arrived.
Creeple were still escaping the dorms. That meant some were still inside. A few seconds passed as a few things added up in his head and he froze as his eyes slid back toward the dorms he'd wandered out from earlier in his eagerness to get away from the shadowlings and find out what in Jack's name was going on. His brother wasn't here. He hadn't really checked before he left, but... had he gotten out?
Jaaaack. What if he'd been hurt or was being... Concern ran heavily along his face as he glanced around at the mess and realize he couldn't really leave, but... but what of his younger sibling? Had anyone seen him perhaps?

Both the ice demon and Yaya managed to soothe his injuries a little. It wasn't much, but it was still something. It was probably a good thing that he was too busy fighting to really notice that the latter hadn't done much in terms of healing because she was distracted by another. Nodding to them both quietly, but gratefully, he loosened up his muscles a little prior to going back to business.
In the very least, he wasn't the only one working on strking these things down.
Letting out a breath, he closed his eye for the moment to keep himself focused. Once it reopened, he began to lash away at the shadowlings with as much swiftness and precision as he could muster. Grimacing as one managed to sneak in an attack of its own before it was cut down, he hopped back briefly to recuperate.
There were still a lot more of these things left. It was then that he turned towards Needle and Mot to see how they were fairing in this fight.
"You two alright over there?" he asked lowly.

Mot watched the fighting with a baffled, more like stunned expression. The reaper gripped tightly his shotgun, wanting to help but not having the power necessary to fire the first shot. There had to be something he could do....
Mot looked up as Shun checked up on them, nodding slowly. "Um.. yes." Shun had to be tired. Couldn't he help him somehow?
FooFoo yipped furiously, zipping towards the Asian looking reaper and pawing at his leg. "N-no, FooFoo!" Mot dashed over, scooping up the minipet under his arm.
Mot smiled hesitantly, and patted Shun on the shoulder, "Sorry sorry..." He backed away with an embaressed posture.
Olivia dodged a few of the creatures, readying herself to go back into the fray when Molan came upon her. She blinked up at him with her bright blue eyes, "oh yes," she told him ever the cheerful one. "Though, I think I'm going to have to get rid of this outfit," a shame too since it was one of the oldest ones her mother had given to her and thus one of her favorites. But the state it was in, probably nothing to salvage from it in terms of dress; could still go into her collection in the least. Her body, well. It would be something she could hope to find a means to mend it.
"You won't as well, right?" She'd hate to see him go down as much as anyone while on her watch. Olivia watched the icey fox boil, curious as his eats flattened against his head as if some thought occurred to him.
She looked between him and the others, unsure if she should question what was going on.

Poke was having a harder time getting rid of her opponents, as they continued to swarm and impede her movements. By themselves they were hardly a threat, but with so many around it was difficult.
"Jack dammit will you- no seriously- I SAID - RRAAAUUGGHHHH" It was like trying to shake of fleas, except they tried to eat everything besides your blood. The dragon shook herself, her large wings flapping as she bounced across the battlefield and scattered the masses away once more.
Slowing down after a few runs, she paused as she saw Mot trip over himself, leaning down to check on the boil. "You alright?" He seemed rather skittish, and she still hadn't forgotten the numerous blows to the head she had accidentally dealt him during the battle of the bands.

Practically running up to the gates, Etzer found his brother... and Olivia. Good, they were together! But Olivia's outfit... oh, it pained him to see that.
"Oh, your poor outfit. Do you want me to fix it?" Etzer reached out to run his fingers over the material, shaking his head. "Later, I mean." He hated to see an outfit in such disarray.
"You look like hell." He stated to Molan, though the frost demon was more than glad to see him. He smiled, walking over to Molan... and rubbing his head rather affectionately. And skritching behind his ears.

Mot's eyes widened as his view of sky was blocked out suddenly by a Dragon.
"Oh! Uh.. Fine, fine.." The Grim Reaper skittishly got to his feet again, FooFoo yapping and circling the boil relentlessly.
It was good that she was well, though she had a point. He nodded vaguely at the mention of needing to... get rid of that dress. It was still clothing, but rather tattered. Compared to her he was doing well with a few minor tears and some mud. Her concern caused a bit of a raise of his brows as he offered a small smile. "I should be fine." He replied, patting her head shortly before the sight of a familiar figure out of the corner of his eyes drew his attention.
Which did fix the troubled look on his face. Rather unharmed really. Etzer looked like he'd made it out of his room without much more than a scratch. Unlike him. He seemed all too cheery with the whole bit about the monsters eating them alive too. Worrying over clothes and then... then he was patting him on the head.
A look of slight disbelief at how casually his brother so calm over their school's current state. Things were literally eating it apart and he was just patting him on the head and commenting he looked a mess. Well of course he did, shadow things were trying to eat him. Sort of. Still the side of him that was used to this, and even had to admit Etzer had long since mastered the spots behind the ears to scratch caused a slight wag of his tail as he remained calm. Even offering a small relieved smile. "Only a bit." He replied before lightly brushing the hand away. "I'm glad you're well." He added, taking a moment to consider hugging his brother before just patting him on the shoulder.

Etzer's ease upon his arrival wasn't so weird to her, given her own opinion on the matter; though she was probably taking it a little more foreboding since she'd been in the thick of it just a little bit more. But his offer got a nice long questioning stare. (And tried not to think of what had transpired the last time they had encountered each other, nope.. not thinking about it).
Well, fixing had crossed her mind but it had delved into the realm of impossibility, "um... if it wouldn't be any trouble," because as much mending as she knew of she couldn't think of how it could be salvaged. But if nice Mister Ezter had a way, then Olivia couldn't really say no to such a kind offer. She smiled, especially more so as the brothers seemed to be reuniting on the battlefield - perhaps that was why Molan seemed a little distressed? She didn't know.
Either way, she let them have their moment, turning her back to them and her head forward to protect the pair of them as they got their affairs in order or whatever it was they planned to do. She'd resume her role as undead shield. Haazaah.

Molan glanced between the two after a moment, the relief of his brother being fine wearing off to the point he realized perhaps he should... ask about that. Or at least quirk a brow as he glanced at them during their short exchange. And then Olivia was bounding off to distract the creatures again and keeping an eye on them. "Be. Careful." He stated it plainly as she went before sighing as he eyed the field. The ghost ghoul still seemed in bad shape behind that dragon. He lifted a hand as the frost began to appear again but faltered and faded after a moment. Tsk. Useless. Well that wasn't doing him any good. Hopefully next time... if he tried again.
"Hopefully you have more luck at killing things." The comment was directed to Etzer as he sighed. "Because something is wrong with my ice." He added, and snapped his fingers a few times. Usually he might have summoned a few shards. Instead a small pathetic fine mist appeared before he left it drop. "It... heals things now." He added before shrugging and scanned the field... just in time to see a shadowling that was after him redirected to Olivia.
Oh... oh dear.
