{Jasmine Haze} Jasmine nodded. She started compressions on him. She could what Riley was saying. "Riley… welcome to camp." She kept going. Trying to crack his rip cage. "River open the bag." She grabbed a mini pump. "Avery put this over his mouth and squeeze it." She kept going on compressions. "And Riley not everyone gets powers. Some gets gifts. Others get both." She laughed as she was giving compressions and conducting a welcome at the same time.

Avery turned to the new girl and the boy as she finally became aware of her surroundings for the first time. She dug her heels into the ground as she knelt by Jasmine her heart still pounding in her ears. She clenched her jaw at the mention of a pierced lung. "What?" she asked a bit of a sharper tone than she would have liked. She looked back to Traiten her hands shaking once more but not from fear this was the last thing she wanted to hear. She looked to Riley watching her till she finally asked, "How do you know for sure thats the problem?" Averys face was now void of all emotions at this point even though she knew in her heart that Riley was right. Had this girl always been here? Avery looked at River then back to Riley then asked, "Are one of you Apollo's children?"
Then when Avery heard Jasmine she snapped back out of it and nelt back dow and began squeezing the bag. She just prayed that she wouldnt lose anyone of her friends but definantly not Traiten.

"Thank you for the welcome, Jasmine," Riley breathed, her confidence and calmness leaving her in a wave. She barely got her words out, though, when the new girl seemed to finally react to the situation.
"What?" she gasped, her voice cracking in frustration. Riley knew she was not angry at her. She knew the girl was just worried sick and wanted to help her friend. Riley could hear the girl's breath shorten and become shallow.
"How do you know for sure that's the problem?" the girl demanded. Riley could tell the girl was facing her now as her voice was clear and direct, but the girl's voice was also defeated and hollow. Her question was followed up by another asking if Riley or River were children of Apollo.
"I do not know who my parents are," Riley admitted, "The only reason I know his lung is punctured is I had a friend suffer a similar injury. Listen to his breathing. Hear how he cannot seem to catch his breath? He is inhaling, but not getting any relief from the oxygen intake."
Luckily, though, Jasmine was on the situation. From the sound of it, she had already collapsed the boy's lung and was working with the new girl--now identified as Avery--to keep oxygen in the boy's system. Riley was confident the boy would be fine. Even though she could only stand there and listen as they tried to help the boy, she knew he would live. His breaths were becoming deeper and more prolonged.
There was another thing Riley felt confident about, too. This was one of the first times she had actually been useful to someone in a crisis. Typically her blindness got in the way. Here at camp, though, it was her secret and she wasn't written off as the weak girl who couldn't see. She wasn't sure how long she would be able to keep her secret, but at the moment she was just like a normal person. Her sunglasses hid her pale eyes perfectly. There was no way anyone would pick up on her sightlessness.

Avery continued to push the oxygen threw Traiten body. She had heard Riley speak about her friend who had the same thing happen to them and they lived. She felt the worlds pressure weighing down on her. She was so much like Riley it was crazy. Neither of them had been claimed by their godly parent yet she has already done more for Traiten then Avery ever could.
Avery stared at Traiten, "Your right.... He has to be fine soon. Thank you." Avery then lowered her tone but it was coated worry she hoped that no one would hear it, "Please dont prove her wrong...." With that her mind went blank as she continued to force the oxygen into his lung.

Avery heard River speak but wasnt sure what was going on now. She had to have faith that he was going to get more help. She had to have faith in everyone at this point. "Good luck." Avery said looking up her face revealing nothing.
((I hope everything gets better for you Edward.))

Traiten's eyes popped open. He saw a bunch of kids, including Avery standing around him. He also noticed a small pump on his face. He smiled a shinning smile. "What is everyone looking at. I'm still wherein clothes right?" Traiten went to an upright position, he felt a sharp pain in his rib cage. "O ya" he thought, I died.

Avery jumped back falling into a defensive crouch till her mind registered that it wasnt a trick. Her voice still had a dark edge, "Traiten stop moving or you arre going to hurt yourself again." Avery looked directly at Jasmine and Riley and asked, "Should he be moved inside now that he is at least awake?"

Riley stood quietly while a little more action carried out. Avery quietly pumped oxygen into the boy's lungs, River took off to find more help, and Jasmine kept working to keep the young man alive. Time had slowed down in Riley's mind. It seemed like hours passed before anything happened. It wasn't a gradual happening, either. Suddenly, Riley heard the boy's breathing speed up and a gasp shot from his mouth as he sat up.
It was no time to laugh, but the slightest chuckle escaped Riley's lips at his first question. What is everyone looking at? Riley repeated in her head giddily. I'm definitely not looking at you.
The boy's change in position was accompanied by a hitch in his breathing from what Riley assumed was the pain he felt from his complaining ribs and lung. He really should be lying down, but apparently he did not agree and was trying to put on a strong facade for Avery. Riley idly wondered what their relationship was. Friends? Best friends? A couple? It would be rude to ask.
Riley was broken from her thoughts by the sound of the roots of grass being ripped from their homes in the ground. A change in the location of Avery's voice alerted Riley as to what had happened. The girl must have been startled and skidded back, her heels tearing through the ground. She did not hold her position long, though, before she spoke.
"Should he be moved inside now that he is at least awake?" she asked seemingly both Riley and Jasmine.
"That would probably be the best bet," Riley surmised, knowing in a minute, the boy--now identified as being named Traiten--would really start feeling the pain of his injury, "Is there some kind of bed inside the registration house for him to lay on? Then do you have any medicine to give him? He is going to need it."

Avery looked at Riley as her mind began to function again she realized that there was something different about Riley. How had she been able to hear Traitens breathing from such the small difference when she was right beside him and she hadnt heard anything? Avery felt her emotions slowly coming back and she was still angry but she found herself able to smile again.
Avery then moved over to Traiten taking his hand which felt very could in her hand. She then felt her cheek and then she noticed her face was very warm. She then seen a pink-ish red glow to her skin and above her head. She looked up and was suddenly angry, "Now you decide to show me who I am? Why now because i managed not to go crazy?" The symbol above her head was a torch with a white swan feather eched in the handle.
Avery without thinking struck the near by tree causing a nymph to emerge and she was very angry that she was woke up. Avery quicky appologized then looked to Jasmine, "Well who is my mother? With my temper im guessing some destructive war goddess and where is the cabin i will be in now or am i still in cabin eleven?"

Traiten stared up in excitement. He grinned and then stopped, it hurt to do anything. "Hail Avery daughter of Nike, goddess of victory, lets us celebrate for this giant event. Perhaps a all night party. I'd love that. Traiten looked around and surveied the situation. He saw Averys anger and for some reason he loved it. He pulled a bit of boar tusk out of his exposed rib cage. He couldn't feel pain anymore it was all pain. "I am all right , right. My hair isn't mested up or anything. Avery by the way you look beautiful, stunning.

Avery blushed as Traiten gave her praise. She went back to his side forgetting about how angry she was with her mother and put her hand on his, "Please, stop moving before you hurt yourself worse. You scared me to death. Please just let us get you inside." She knew that she could take him in herself but she needed the company right now. She looked at Riley still thinking about her when something hit her. She smiled her mood completely did a 180. She stood back up and said, "Thank you both!"

River came back with a medium sized mug, and I tired look on his face that said he had spent time searching for something. He held the mug away from him as if it would bite him. The sea child tried to stay away from the golden liquid as much as possible. He bent down next to Traiten and sighed. "This is all I could find for some reason most of Apollo cabin, don't seem to like me today. Don't know why." he sighed. "Any ways drink up."
(ooc: Back home finally. My grandmother was in a wreck, not bad but we still took her to be looked at. *sighs* any way every thing is ok, and now I am off to bed before I fall over.)

Avery looked at River wondering what he brought to Traiten. She bowed slightly, "Thank you sir for bringing him some medicine. I hope it wasnt to much trouble." Avery didnt know how to properly approch him so she decided to go formal. She smiled at him then thought for a moment and realized for the first time where she had seen him. Before Traiten and her left he had been with Jasmine.
Avery blushed then looked to Jasmine, "I-I'm so sorry I didnt mean to interrupt your registration. I should probably take the horse back once Traiten is resting. After that do you need any help?"
(ooc: Im sorry that happened, but im glad to hear everything turned out alright for you.)
