Jace watched people come and go for a little while as he relaxed in his chair. It wasn't too long before a taller blonde haired male seemed to walk in and meet eyes with him. Jace gulped and averted his eyes to his squirtle to avoid any awkwardness. Jace laughed at the squirtle as it made small unharmful bubbles in the air. One of the bubbles drifted up towards him and Jace used his pointer finger to pop it in front of him and Isac's face, startling Isac causing him to fall back on his shell for a moment. Jace laughed a bit and helped Isac up as the blond haired man walked up to him.
XXXXXthe man stood in front of him for a moment before he asked him if he wanted some food. Jace blinked in his general direction before digging in his bag and tossing him a single serve of pudding."Here. I am not one for sweets." Jace said to the man. Jace was a bit more on the shy side and wasn't really one for words, especially to people he didn't know. Soon the man sat down next to him and put his arm around his shoulder. this was a little more friendly than Jace had intended and was a little put off by it. "So, where ya headin'?" He said to him casually.
XXXXX Jace scooted over just a bit to make himself a little more comfortable in this awkward situation. He looked over at the man for a moment then back to Isac. "Lavender." Jace replied to him, not really sure what was going on. However, Jace thought that he should at least try to be friendly. Having someone to travel with might not be such a bad idea.

A L L E R E N xxxEven if his normal hobby was bullying the more innocent individuals and taking what he could, he was slightly stunned by this boy's behavior. He seemed nervous, and from the moment Alleren had walked into the visitor center, he'd been trying to avoid looking at the blonde haired male, instead focusing on the Squirtle that must be his travelling companion. When his question of food was answered with a pack of pudding, he was slightly surprised. He hadn't even had to bully the boy! Though this wasn't the meal he had been hinting at, he most certainly wouldn't complain though the boy spoke up about not liking sweets. "You don't like sweets? What kind o' freak are ya?" Alleren questioned, apparently scrutinizing the boy and his tastes. He wasn't one to be polite, no, he didn't care what he did or who he did it to. If he upset this boy by his rudeness, likelihood was that he wouldn't care at all. No spoon came with the pudding but that wasn't stopping Alleren from getting to the sweet snack, no, he ripped the paper from the top and stuck his finger in, enjoying the taste of the pudding before looking to Jace curiously.
The boy still seemed exceptionally nervous, giving short answers and he rose a brow before looking to the Squirtle at the boy's side. "So, you aren't gonna do any gym battles or anything? You're just going to that ghost town?" He questioned. This boy was really a freak! But part of Alleren was too curious just to let him go, no, he'd follow him until he got some sort of restraining order. It was just the way the male worked, plus, he wasn't nearly as annoying as those blonde haired girls. Two flashes of light from his side alerted him to the fact that Boy and Raven had come out of their balls, curious as to what was going on in the outside world. "Ah! These two runts are Boy and Raven. They're gonna be strong someday, I gotta get some training in, though." He stated, earning a glare from the two pokemon in front of him. Even if the Starly and the Charmander were more than capable of putting him into the ground without the lift of a finger, he still didn't feel the need to treat them with the respect they deserved.
"Ah, well, since you didn't take the time to ask, I'm gonna hit all the gyms though I'm confused as to what you'd want with Lavender town. Are you gonna be one of those creepy ghost-type trainers or something?" Alleren was in his interrogation mood, even leaning towards the boy to find out more. Of course, Jace had moved away in an attempt to put some space between them as well as probably gain his personal space back from the probing boy beside him though Alleren didn't mind. Another finger dipped into his pudding cup only to be sloppily cleaned off by the male's tongue while he stared at Jace, waiting for some sort of explanation. "Mind if I follow you?" He questioned even though by now it would hopefully be obvious that Alleren didn't care much for Jace's wishes. If anything, he'd follow anyways and probably taunt the boy on his size, his shy-ness, and anything that he could use against him. He wasn't annoying but that wasn't going to change Alleren's behavior any.

Roko Octave Location:Veridian City
With: Aurora,  Paying for is things and loading them in to his bag, Roko was now the lucky one to be with someone who knew Viridian fairly well so they wouldn't just be wandering around. Aurora would enter the shop just before him and he would unclip Poseidon's pokeball before releasing the tiny pokemon and picking him up. Walking in, he could hear Aurora already in a conversation with the cashier, or rather the cashier was talking at the brown haired girl. "They must be friends, Right Poseidon?" Roko would ask his mudkip as he smiled down at him. udkip on the other hand was to interested in the Mareep sleeping by the counter. "Sorry little guy but unless you want to be the first Water electric Mudkip you'd best not interrupt its sleep" He would joke.
"So is this you boyfriend then, Aurora?"The young cashier would say catching Roko's ear as he brought his eyes up to meet the girls. From mudkips point of view Roko was red in the face and slightly warmer then usual and what better way to cool off than with water?, the little pokemon thought. Dousing roko with a light water gun made him jump slightly . Aurora was quick to correct the misunderstanding while Roko only smiled awkwardly not know whether to be thankful or insulted while dripping wet. Walking over to introduce himself the male picked up a towel off a near by shelf and wiped his face dry now intending to buy it anyway.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Roko Octave. I met Aurora back at Professor Oaks lab." The white haired male would say as his mudkip now gazed at the two girls as curious as ever.

"Thanks for the offer of food, Riley, but if we win, I don't want your lunch. Hunter can have it. To me, this is just a training experience for Hachiko and Bentley, their first trainer battle, even if it's on a friendly level." She explained, giving a soft smile before looking to Hachiko and then over to Hunter, seeing who he had sent out. Of course, there was Richter, the Joltik being just as ready as Hachiko was. The Poochyena gave a nod to the Joltik at his side, showing that he would work to help him take down this foe that they had to share. "I think both Hachiko and Richter are ready.. So we're ready when you are, Riley." She spoke up, her eyes locking onto Riley before she glanced over to Hunter, wondering how he'd handle this. How much experience did he have with battling? Bentley's normally happy disposition had changed, as even the Chikorita was getting wind of how competitive the air was becoming with the three trainers that were about to face off against each other. Looking down to Bentley, Elena gave a grin, knowing that he'd get his chance soon enough, whether it be against one of Riley's pokemon or whether it would be against a wild pokemon or some other trainer's pokemon. He would get his chance to battle.

The young cashier held her hand out to Roko and gave a flirtatious smile, "Well, if he isn't yours, then I guess I should introduce myself. Hi, my name is--" Aurora gently grabbed Roko's arm and pulled him with her, "that cashier at that store." Aurora didn't mean to seem it, but she was a bit jealous that Elisabeth would simply try to put the moves on someone she had just met, let alone someone her friend was traveling with. Elisabeth in the background smiled and gently patted her Mareep's head, "I am such a good match-maker, aren't I Joule?"The mareep looked up and made a small vibration and then went to watch the two new Pokemon leave. It stared at the Mudkip and Cyndaquil and waved to them, letting them know it was listening. Cyndaquil waved up and chirped happily, grabbing Aurora's hair a bit to hold onto her as she tugged the white haired boy and his Pokemon out of the store. Aries got a bit angry and smacked her head a bit to tell her to stop and slow down, chirping at her angrily.
Aurora got out of the store and started dragging him towards the forest in a hurry and mumbled to herself angrily. She felt a hard hit to her forehead and a hot flame starting to burn on her head. The flame startled her and she jumped a bit, letting go of Roko and gently grabbing Aries. She hugged him gently and frowned, "I'm sorry, Aries. I didn't mean to upset you. Please forgive me!" Her face turned a bit red and she looked up at Roko from behind her little mouse Pokemon. She hadn't realized what she'd done until it was over and gently bowed to him a bit. "P-Please forgive me, Roko. I did not mean to drag you out and away from the town! We can go back if you're missing anything!" she told him embarrassingly. Feeling a bit bad she turned away a bit and went to go play with a few flowers awkwardly. Aries walked away and curled up in the brush, waiting for her to get close enough to jump at her face and latch on. Aries

Riley Greyson "Alright Hunter, we may be brothers, but you've got a lot to learn about battling!" Riley spoke. "Allow me to be your tough-love teacher!" He spoke, glancing to Buzzkill and whispering close to him. "Buzzkill... go easy on them, no fatalities." He spoke, the pokemon nodding as he called out his attack. "Use Rock Slide!"
The Heracross blinked, glancing back to Riley before looking to the pokemon, cringing as he picked up a rock in each hand and toddled over, dropping the rocks on Richter and Hachiko's heads. "H-Hera...cross...?" He spoke, kneeling down to see if he had gone too far, glancing back to Riley.
The male didn't look too happy either, letting out a nervous laugh. "What a one-sided battle this is..." He spoke, rubbing his head nervously.

As the attack went through, Hunter heard Richter squeak lightly as his head was hit by the rock. "Uhh... was that it?" he asked, huffing. "Come on Riley, we may be starters, but be serious! We have to be serious with you, don't we?" He yelled suddenly, glaring. "Richter, use String Shot on him, give it everything you got!"
Richter glanced to the huge bug pokemon, starting to spit web at him, the gooey substance hitting him dead-square in the eyes, blinding him. As Buzzkill flailed about, trying to shake off the webs, Hunter called out another attack.
"Leech Life Richter!"
Richter bristled up, running towards Heracross and jumping on him, scurrying under his shell and starting to sap the energy from the pokemon. Buzzkill twitched and tried to claw under his shell, trying to shake him out from under his wings as best he could.

Roko Octave Location:Veridian City
With: Aurora, The girls seemed to speak a little more on something before the young cashier turn in Roko's direction to greet. Before he could really give any kind of response though Aurora had taken the white haired male by the hand and in a flustered state left the the store. Roko would wear a very confused expression as the girls tugged at him with one arm and he did his best not to drop Poseidon who was being cradled in the other. By the time Aries, who was still resting on the girls head, flared up and stopped her the two were already well on their way to the forest.
"P-Please forgive me, Roko. I did not mean to drag you out and away from the town! We can go back if you're missing anything!" She would say as she turned and gently bow this time even more flustered than when they were heading out of town. 'You really didn't realize? Just what did that cashier say?' The male would think as he smiled awkwardly not want to make the girl feel any more uncomfortable.
"Well I can't really say it was a bother, its just that we didn't actually grab picnic basket that we went there for. So I plan to go back and grab one and maybe some pokemon food and coming right back. Your free to come with me of course, but it seems Aries is wandering off." The male would say as he turned slightly to jog back in to town for their food.

AuroraTraveling Companions~Roko Octave
When she had finally calmed down, Aurora turned to look at her traveling companion. She smiled at Roko and told him, "I feel like staying here would be best for now, that way I do not have to worry about running around like a chicken with her head cut off!" A little rest and relaxation could really do her some good and she knew that this area should be able to provide the comfort she needs. She waved Roko off and smiled happily. The area before the forest was filled with flowers and trees. The path they were on was beautiful and he went to look for the perfect area they could use for the picnic.
Aries was crouching in the bushes and when she got close enough, he jumped at her. The young Cyndaquil grabbed onto her face and held it. This made Aurora jump a bit and freak out in confusion. she grabbed at Aries in an attempt to stop him from latching on and pull him off. She found herself quite embarrassed, but when he was safely off of her, she laughed and smiled happily at him. Aries was her new best friend and it was all thanks to Roko. She knew she needed to thank him again as soon as she could find a perfect way to do it.Aries

Both of her pokemon were willing to fight hard, and she'd prove this. Just as she suspected, Hunter and Richter both were trying to prove Riley wrong as well. "Tackle him! Take him down! Howl again and then Tackle!" This time, she was determined to be the one to deliver a critical attack. She would prove that even though they had just started out, her and Hunter had potential. They could do this, and he'd be the first to learn just what the two were capable of.

Riley Greyson As Richter finished his attack, Buzzkill swayed weakly, the bug pokemon feeling Richter leave his shell. He barely had time to brace himself before Hachiko rammed into his chest, his currently weakened state making it easier for the small dog pokemon to knock him onto his back. Getting stuck on his back, the beetle pokemon flailed helplessly, crying out.
"Heracrosssss cross, heracross!!" He howled, trying to get upright.
Riley paled, his jaw dug into the ground. "Holy... how the hell did you... but... he was..." He soon stopped talking altogether and just sat there, staring in awe at the two starter pokemon and their trainers. "...you two certainly are something alright..." He mumbled, sighing as he walked up behind Heracross, lifting the pokemon up onto his feet again and holding him upright. "Jesus, you guys must've had practice." He mumbled, huffing. "So be it, To the victor go the spoils. Dig in." He spoke, handing the box to Buzzkill, the beetle pokemon toddling his way over to the two pokemon and bending down to set the box of food in front of them, opening it up.
"H-Heracross..." he hissed, holding out a paw to shake hands with the two pokemon, the beetle giving a smile despite his weakness.
Riley walked over to Hunter, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You did good little brother, I'm proud of you. You deserve that victory." he smiled, kissing his head and glancing to Elena. "And so do you Elena, you and Hachiko make a great team. It may have been one moveset, but man... Richter and Hachiko really showed Buzzkill what it means to kick a**." He laughed, kneeling down to offer his hand alongside Buzzkill to the two pokemon. "Great job guys, keep it up." he smiled, no hint of bitterness in his voice or expression.

Hunter blinked as he was declared the winner, paling as he realized what had happened. "We won...? WE WON!!!" he howled, Richter running up and jumping onto his face, hugging his face happily. The two danced about, Trent standing aside and letting them celebrate, the grass pokemon crossing his arms and smiling lightly.
"You did great Richter, thank you for doing your best." Hunter praised, earning a cuddle from the little electric spider.
As Buzzkill brought the food over, Richter jumped down to dig in, but blinked as the beetle held out his hand to shake. Glancing to his hand, then to his own, Richter let out a chirp, placing his tiny leg against Buzzkill's huge claw, the two shaking out of good sportsmanship. As Richter let go of Buzzkill's hand, he turned and jumped on Hachiko's back, the electric spider chattering happily to Hachiko, happy that he had such a great partner to work with.
Hunter beamed as his brother praised him, giggling as his head was kissed. "I owe you a lot, you helped me get here. I wouldn't have even gotten my first pokemon if you hadn't persuaded me to." He smiled, hugging his older brother before kneeling down to check out the food, his stomach still rumbling. Picking up a sandwich, he sat down where he once stood, calling over Trent and Richter, splitting the sandwich between the three partners and grinning as they chowed down.

Jace being very calm, cool, and rather quite where as the man sitting next to him seemed hyper-active, hot headed, and a bit chatty. Jace sat and listened to him go on but continued to watch Isac. Then the male touched upon the topic of gyms. Jace had never really considered gyms before, but then again they were never really something that had been a large interest of his."So, you aren't gonna do any gym battles or anything? You're just going to that ghost town?" The man asked towards him. "I would like to avoid Gyms if at all possible, however I shall enter one if needed. While my primary goal is Lavender, where I ultimately end up is also bound to change." Jace would state pretty blandly before the man would go to introduce his two pokemon, a charmander and a starly is would appear.
XXXXXThere were two muted red flashes as the two pokemon were summoned from their holding balls. Jace would be polite and garner them with a sincere smile and nod; one to the each of them. He didn't want the two to think that he was a threat of some sort. Though, the release of the two pokemon seemed to startle Isac as he proptly hid behind Jace's leg. Jace put a hand on the timid Squirtle's head and pet him reassuringly."There, it's okay. They are good. Go play with them." Jace said soft and low to Isac gently nudging him out from behind him and motioning towards the two pokemon. Isac, generally trusting of his kind hearted master, would hesitantly obey and stride over to Boy and Raven. He then stared at them for a little while sort of waiting for something.
XXXXX Jace had been so caught up in helping Isac make some friends that he didn't even hear the man until he proposed to come along through the forest with him. "Mind if I follow you?"He said leaning towards Jace a bit and almost a bit eager. Jace sighed a bit to himself. "I suppose if you desire to, I am in no opposition." He would state. Jace was always a bit more formal in his way of speaking.

Looking to their "prize", she stared at all of the food before shaking her head. All of this felt wrong, what would Riley eat? She didn't like the idea of taking anyones food though Bentley and Hachiko soon calmed down, focusing their attention on their prize. The food in front of them was scarfed down, both of them laying on their backs to expose their bellies once they were finally finished. When Riley and Buzzkill approached the two, they both gave lazy groans, waving their paws in the air as dismissal. No, they would all be buddy buddy later, right now they were resting. Turning her attention to their surroundings, Elena looked around for a possible place to pick up her breakfast, wondering what could be done while she was gone. It was obvious that both Hachiko and Bentley didn't want to move but leaving them alone? It was nice to see that Riley had nothing against the two little ones winning but she still didn't want to leave her pokemon alone with the siblings. She still didn't know them too well and she grinned down to Bentley and Hachiko. "C'mon you two, I know it was good and I know you're full but I still need to eat and you're not going to lay around all day and get fat. Not on my watch, at least. So, up up up! Let's go!" She coaxed, nudging both pokemon with her foot gently. It was barely enough to get them moving but it was enough to get their attention, both giving sounds of protest before finally getting up.
"I don't know about you two but half of a meal isn't going to fill me up.. I eat more than you both think and if we're all going to be training our pokemon together, we should probably be well fed so that we can think properly. What do you two say? Want to come with me to find a place to buy some food?" Elena suggested, looking back and forth between the two brothers. Both Bentley and Hachiko were sitting at her feet, looking up at the group attentively whilst they figured their stuff out. It seemed they were having a moment, something that she really didn't want to interrupt but she was hungry and was waiting for an answer. Were they coming with or staying behind? It was up to them and she wouldn't be angry either way. "If you two want you can stay here and catch up.. I'll probably go heal Hachiko at the Poke Center and then pick up a meal and meet you both back here if you'd like." She offered, figuring that was the best way to get an answer. It would require them to stop talking for a moment, yes, but they had the choice of staying and chatting their hearts out or coming with her, and chatting their hearts out. Really, Elena didn't want to go alone. Sure, she had her pokemon but she needed someone to actually talk to and if she was going to be travelling with the brothers, best get to know them.

A L L E R E N xxx"That's stupid! You can't avoid the gyms! That's how you get your badges to get clearance to use moves to get to that ole ghost town! I don't see what's so special there, anyways!" Alleren huffed, giving a look towards Jace that showed he didn't like the boy's choices. It was none of his place but really, if he were to go with this boy, he'd be missing out. 'Oh, fancy schmancy. Doesn't want to battle the gyms. Wimp. But I'm not missing out on the gyms, no way! I'm going to be the best trainer ever!' Oh, he was such a jerk and he was quiet as he thought of how to make Jace battle the gyms. It was true, he would need badges to get to Lavender town like he wanted to do. "So, what do you want from Lavender town? What's there that's so important that you miss out on your life as a trainer and avoid all gyms possible just to get there?" He questioned, his eyes on the male. It didn't make sense to him, someone wanting to avoid gyms just to go to a ghost town was unheard of to Alleren and he was waiting for an answer. He really wanted to know now. Both Boy and Raven were curious about the timid Squirtle, watching Isac and even shuffling closer - despite the fact that he was hiding behind his trainer's leg.
"You train him at all yet? Little pipsqueak like that would probably faint during play time." Alleren commented, the blonde male looking to the squirtle and shaking his head. Was Jace even going to battle? The squirtle had hid from something it was strong against as well as a small little bird! Unlike the Squirtle, the Charmander and the Starly wasted no time in starting their game, one tackling Isac while the other ran off, hoping to get a running start for it's tackle. Luckily it was only Raven, Alleren's Starly whom was trying to rough house with the little Squirtle as Boy had gotten distracted by an odd looking plant. It held the Charmander's interest, the fire starter giving a growl to try and intimidate said plant. Of course upon getting no reply, he went ahead and swatted one of the leaves, trying to make it fight back. "Stop being so stupid, Boy! It's just a plant! Come play with Raven and Isac!" He called, glaring to the Charmander. This was embarassing, watching his Charmander sit and play with a plant.
When Jace finally answered him about travelling, Alleren turned to him, giving him a firm look.
