Aiden listened to what the voice said and briefly looked puzzled at the end. It only mentioned seven items, seven not eight. He pushed that way to think over later. Either way he had collected miasma for the kingdom and survived and that brought his normal smile back on his face. He left quickly to return to the Green Kingdom.

Before Elliot could respond to Ami's question, a voice seemed to emminate from below him. He looked down and was suprised to see light coming from the general direction of the chalice. The voice spoke of legacies.

A fountain made of purest water, the strongest symbol of his grief.

Grief, the domain that Wilson had inherited. This much be related to the fall of the Silver Kingdom, or was it a hint of something to come...? The water began to drain away and soon Elliot was standing on solid ground again. White crystals began to sprout everywhere. Elliot could feel the miasma pulsing inside the crystal, but the closer he got the more his head spun. He activated his gunblade and slashed at the crystal, managing to break off a little chunk.

"C'mon Ami, let's go home. We should report what happened here to the Commander."

Another tale. Sun listened, marking the description of a staff of purest darkness. What a prize that would be!

As the water drained, crystals overtook the cave, and Sun could swear that those closest to her tracked her movement. Did they want her out? The way out was the only one not blocked. Sun headed for it, but took a moment to examine the crystal closest to her.

A small fragment of Miasma came off when she struck the crystal with a spine. Good! All in all, this had been a confusing, but interesting task, and she could return to her King with some Miasma, and a bit of information.

As she reached the Silver tower the ground crumpled and took the shadow down with the rest.
After the fall, and with the shock Azmodel stayed dazed for a while.
A feminine voice grabbed her wandering attention and the Death arcana turned towards it's source.
And then the lake's water started to disappear and those jagged crystals became too menacing for the ghoul's taste.

It was time to leave.

Sploosh.

While Riyo might've been grateful to the 'soft landing', by no means did she enjoy the fact that she was now soaked to the bone. Eyes narrowing, she stood and tried to ring her sleeves off without removing them.

The new, not voice voice held her attention, but only momentarily. Two measly pieces of miasma weren't enough. She'd have to see if she could get a little bit more. Oh look. No more lake. Just... Crystals... With miasma! Haha!

Total Miasma Points: 4.

Yesss. It wasn't much, but it was more than she had before, certainly. Time to GTFO.

The True King's legacy. He listened attentively, trying to commit each object the mysterious voice recited to memory. This was highly valuable information!

Sinclair's vision swam. Although the water had provided some temporary comfort, with every movement he made, the momentarily dulled ache flared back to life.

But he couldn't leave. He had barely begun to explore this place! It could hold so many answers! Yet his path was impeded by the sudden crystal growths spawning all over the cave. It seemed he couldn't go much farther after all...

[Exiting]

Lan was right, this place was just like a tomb. "I agree." She replied, stepping away from the wall after not finding anything more of interest. No silver king mentioned though. Hrm, that was curious, wasn't it? When Kiwi approached them she gave him a nod as well, before saying.

"I think we should just lea----" And then something happened near where the chalice was located, and the lake was drained of water, leaving white miasma crystals behind.

"We should take what we can, and then leave." She repeated herself, and stepped away from the duo to do just that.

The crystals seemed to have other ideas, however. It was difficult to get near them, and even more so to chisel off the smallest of pieces with her dagger. It was better then nothing, however, and she quickly backed away, the feeling of the crystals wishing to swallow her whole too much to bare.

And then she made her exit.

Nkosazana was startled, freezing like a deer in the headlights as the voice echoed from the center of the room. What was that? She attempted to look for a source, but at no prevail, not seeing anyone our anything with a voice loud enough to seem to be so close, despite her position near the gate patterned like the Silver Crown.

There was something about that voice, though, that made it different, easier to listen to perhaps. It was a warming voice, despite the unplacable accent, not even her trained and traveled Silver-born ears able to understand where it was from. But she waited, she calmed, and she listened to what it had to say.

The more it spoke, though, the more alarmed she became. There were relics for every kingdom, red, green, blue, violet, gold, white, and black, except for get own kingdom, dead as it now was, the missing silver color that did not seem to have anything associated with it.

"Why are they neglecting.to mention my home?"

But without answering her question, the voice was gone, and the prior warmth of the room began to drain away like the water in the lake, draining out like the plug had just been pulled. With the retreat of the water cane the growth of those crystals, large and intimidating, alarming Nkosazana once again.

She knew those crystals, though. They contained miasma. She could not stay here in her ruined kingdom, but she did attempt to take a piece of it with her, moving up to a crystal to crack a piece off.

Why did they seem to be closing in on her?

It was with That thought she fled, never looking back a** the crystals consumed Her home.
