"You lunch uh..? Ah carefu---" Maria had moved to crouch infront of Rose as if to help her and prevent the contents from her back from spilling onto the ground, though she was too late. A small pause and it seemed that Rose had found her lunch at last. Maria sighed with a smile and stood up again to get her own lunch, "You are a bit absent minded, uh? Well at least you got your lunch!"
----
"Do'hoho! You are speaking my language now! Our own little maid, eh? Heheehe~" Hazumi grinned widely from behind her spectacles. "How about you fight N? If you fought me you'd stand no chance, red-white, but maybe with N you can at least scrape your honor off the floor!" "Oh its on." Nora rammed the tip of her bat against the bleacher once more, jumping off and reaching into her jacket for her own deck,"If I am going to want to stand a chance against Yuuka, I better get some practice."
Throwing her jacket off, Nora rested the bat across her shoulder blade and held her deck in a hand,"A pipsqueak like you will be the perfect punching bag!"

Byakuren gasped as Reimu offered her as a reward if one of the other students won. "WHAT?!" Hijiri screamed. "I just wanted to know about this card game and see what I could do to stop it, because..." Byakuren sighed before she continued. "I need to stop this man from hurting others and himself." She sighed. What had she gotten herself into? She just wanted to help everyone and anyone and she was rewarded with this? She sighed once more. She then raised her head, showing a face of readiness with a hint of anger. "No. Here's a deal." Byakuren told them. "If you beat Reimu, then you can have me as your maid for the next... hour, but," Byakuren then turned to face Hazumi specifically. "If you beat me, then I'll be your maid for the entire day, or even a week." Byakuren said. "What do you say?" She asked with a small tilt of her head and a smile. She reached into her bag and pulled out her cards. Byakuren had heard what Hazumi had said about her own power, saying she could defeat Reimu easily, so Byakuren felt worried. She was also worried because she had never done this card game before. ~~~~~ Rose gave a small, awkward laugh as Maria pointed out how absent minded she was. "Heh... you're right, my parents also tell me that." Rose laughed. She she closed up her bag, she noticed her card pouch. She pulled it out and looked at it. Rose then opened her lunch and took a small bite of a riceball she had in her lunch box and, after swallowing her mouthful, asked, "Hey, do you know how to play this card game? I've never really heard of it, so I don't know how to play."~~~~~ Yumi opened her door, mostly recomposed. "I... I guess we can try jogging." Yumi said. When Maruno said to get her cute little butt in gear, Yumi's face turned red once more and she bolted into the washroom. I-I'm just going t-to wash up quickly!" Yumi told Maruno through the door as she splashed water on her face. 'This is like a cheesy book or movie, like, "Yumi and Maruno's Secret Times" or something.' Yumi thought to herself. She then pondered the idea of such a book, her face turning re once more, forcing her to splash more water on herself once more.

Lucy shook Sorina's hand firmly, smiling back with a broad grin. "A 'fallen hero', huh? You must like him a lot then if you stick around; fallen heroes are usually outcast! At least, that's what happens in stories..."
As Sorina went on, Lucy had to hold in an excited squeal. She squeezed Sorina's hand and nearly pulled her into a hug! "You LOVE him?! Hehehe, I KNEW IT!" She let go and wiggled in place, ever full of energy. "That's so cute, that's so cute! I hope it all goes well when you tell him, Sorina!" Lucy took an affirmative stance with one hand balled into a fist at her hip, with the other thrust forward in a thumbs up. "Good luck!"
====
Reimu was surpsised by Byakuren's counter deal. She hadn't expected the bubbly, air-headed tennis player to think so quickly on her feet. However, the altered deal didn't leave Reimu is any worse position, so she let it go.
"Alright then, that works for me. Either way, I get what I need." Reimu took her cards from the table then stepped to the side, facing towards the delinquent Noraneko. "Right then, I just need to beat tall, dark and ugly here, is that right?" She held her cards forward, prepared to challenge her, when a cold chill ran down her spine. Something, somewhere, went horribly... wrong. Unknowing of the cause, Reimu was forced to push the feeling into the corner of her mind, and re-focus her attention on the girl in front of her.
"So... You ready?"
====
Maruno let out a sigh of complaint. "Okayyy, just hurry u--" Just then, an alarm on her wristwatch sounded. "Waahh!! I'm late for a meeting with the sports team! Sorry Yu, we can catch up later! BYE~!" With that, Maruno bolted out of Yumi's room...

Girls are found. Please wait warmly...
The spectacled gardener slowly, and silently, made her way to the school's ground. The sun seemed bright, unnaturally so, and the school was alive with the buzz of rumor. For once, however, they didn't seem to be directed at the lonely gardener, although one or two of them did manage to include her as the possible assailant. Yuuka didn't care, and went about her business as normal, despite holing up in her bedroom for the entire morning.
Yuuka had a traditional-looking picnic basket hung on her arm, containing her lunch. Most of the other students seemed to have finished their lunches already and were already leaving, save for a few still caught in conversation, or causing ruckus on the--
She paused. Noraneko and her friend, Hazumi, were seemingly engaged in a heated conversation with the two sports players, and judging by their body language, it was only going to get worse. Yuuka chose a spot under a tree, very much like a certain Kendo Captain, and laid out her small plaid blanket, giving her a nice viewpoint of the ensuing battle while she ate.

Sorina felt a bit bashful for telling someone else but a smile was on her face. She really did appreciate it. "Thank you." as she turned to head off somewhere, her eye caught Yuuka sitting under a tree. She approached her carefully since the last time they met she was called weak and pathetic. "Umm...Yuuka was it?" she opened up with the conversation but had nothing else to ask. In fact, she was a bit frightened by Yuuka in general.
Just as the battle was trying to begin, Hana ran from the direction of the dorms and straight to Hijiri. "H-have you seen Nahumar recently?!" she looked as if she was panicking and scared out of her mind. "I was going back to our room from the office and...The place is destroyed! It looked like someone came in and decided to smash everything!" Vandalism? Some of the onlooking students caught wind of the words and wondered if Nahumar did it himself. "Please, someone tell me Nahumar is somewhere."
As that little panic attack happened with the young sibling...Nahumar, or the now 'evil' Nahumar, watched from the shadows, mainly at Hijiri and waiting for his chance to duel her. If the time for school would be over before she made it, he would enjoy putting on a show for everyone to make it look as if he was an entity from some realm. Like an anime or a series of television shows.

"We all have our 'tragic flaws' as Shakespeare's fans would say," Maria smiled taking the last of her bites from her lunch. Damn, she had really been hungry. She begun to pack the container when Rose's question caught her attention.
"I don't, I have my cards and heard what they can do, but I haven't personally come to use them more than as a temporary bookmark or as a curious read," the kendo captain commented, if ignoring the nearby bickering of the athletes and delinquents that Yuuka had so delightfully sat to observe on the other side of Maria's lunch place. "Frankly they make me a bit nervous, seeing as all the trouble they have gone on to cause," she admitted going into her bag,"I don't mean to preach, but honestly, power isn't with its price." She punctuated her sentence by pulling out her own deck, "That is why I keep them safe and close."
--- "You guys are just making this more and more interesting!" Hazumi laughed standing on the bench. With the small boost she could see over Noraneko's head. "If its two fights, how about a tag team~?" She crossed her arms under her chest with a deep smirk. Noraneko glance sideways at the short blonde. It would obviously give them some sort of upper hand over the two girl if they were to fight side by side.
The two delinquents had known each other for the longest time and had gotten in many quarrels together. Additionally both had already used their cards; even if Nora had lost against Nahumar's spider illusion, Hazumi had soundly defeated that bookworm, Memory or Maria or something. Nora was strong and resilient, Hazumi was smart and manipulative.
But maybe the two girls could pick up that this was also their bane; arrogant Hazumi and short-tempered Noraneko could just as easily blow their chances by overestimating their team. "If you defeat us, we will tell you everything we know, hell will help you, right-o, N?" With a new sense of confidence the baseball player nodded,"Of course, sounds only fair~" "But I'll be kind, we will have to defeat both of you to get little-miss-racket over there to be our maid, how does that sound~?" "Well we have to give them some handicap, right~?"
The two delinquents laughed, before Hazumi jumped down and pulled out her deck. "Ready~?" "We won't go easy, cuse we aren't the kind to cooperate!" Noraneko held her deck ready.
-- "The hell? Go away shrimp, we got business goin' on here!" The blonde delinquent grumbled at Hana, having no interest in Nahumar. Though Noraneko looked sideways, having seen himmthenlrevious night or something, not very long ago at any rate. She wondered where the othe delinquent could have ran off to.

Byakuren nodded. "Ooh, a tag team battle sounds fun, don't you think, Reimu~?" She asked the student of red and white. She pulled out her deck and held it up in front of her. "Alrighty then,lets-" before Byakuren could finish, she noticed that Hana had come up, asking about Nahumar. Byakuren was shocked by what she was told. "What? Who could have done such a thing...?" Byakuren asked the girl. Byakuren heaved a sigh, she felt that she had gotten herself into something and she had no choice but to help. It was in her blood, or at least that's what it felt like. "Listen, Hana, I need to try to learn how to play this game before I have to fight your brother and I... I want to be ready to make sure he stops acting crazy, alright?" Byakuren told Hana. She then looked back to the other three girls and said, "Well, I'm ready when you are and don't worry, I'll keep my promise if you win."~~~~~ Girls are being awkward. Please wait warmly...When Yumi heard the door close and Maruno say she had to go, Yumi scolded herself mentally. "Yumi, if you don't act you're going to lose her..." She told herself. She sighed and decided that she should go to school. Once there, she saw several students; the two sports stars with two delinquents and a small blonde girl, the newspaper girl with a newer girl, and the love-struck girl and the gardener under a tree, watching the first group of five. Yumi didn't know what to do, so she just stood in her place and sighed. ~~~~~ Rose nodded along as Maria spoke about her cards and her thoughts. "Huh, makes sense. I keep mine with me too, I just feel that it's best to do that." She told the kendo captain. She then noticed that there were others nearby to her and Maria, but she didn't say anything yet. "Do you think many other people play this game?" The not robotic student asked her friend.

"I'll see you later, Sorina!" Lucy beamed, waving. "I'm going to go meet my friend now!"
Indeed, the blonde remembered her original goal set out for herself. She wanted to find Maria, and, lo and behold, there she was not far away! ...But, it looked like she was talking to someone... Rose! That's okay, she seemed nice enough, even if the girl was a little clumsy...
"Mariiiiaaaa~" Lucy called out playfully, jogging over to her schoolmates. "Hehe, I found you~ Oh, and hi Rose!" Lucy waved, then noticed that the both of them had their deck of cards withdrawn. "Hey... Were you two gonna try playing that game or something..? (Tch, I still say that weird boy has something to do with them...)"
====
Reimu sighed. This kind of bravado was expected of the delinquents, but it didn't help her confidence any. She had already lost her first duel; what was she to do against them? Yumi had held back, unknowing of her own abilities. These two, on the other hand... already had experience fighting normally, as well as with the strange cards.
At the root of all things, Reimu and Byakuren were at a disadvantage, and from the sounds of things, it didn't appear as though the tennis player had used her cards either. Perfect.
"It doesn't matter if I am ready or not; the game has to commence--" She cast a sideways glance to Hana, listening to her plea. She mentioned her brother missing, and the room he occupied left destroyed... Did that have something to do with the feeling she had? "... I can't deal with that right now," She replied, "This duel is already underway."
"Noraneko Okashii, I--" she hesitated, and gulped down air. "I challenge you to a spell card duel!" Before her, the same five panels appeared, and she swiftly withdrew five corresponding cards from her deck...
====
Yuuka's attention had been focused on the delinquent, and as such, she had not noticed Sorina approach her. She visibly twitched out of her concentration, then, peeking over the brim of her glasses, casted a look upon Sorina that was neither inviting nor dangerous.
"Sorina." She said plainly, reaching up to adjust her glasses. "Do you... need something?" She paused, then lifted the woven lid of her basket. "...Would you care to join me for lunch? I believe a show is about to begin~"

Hana looked back at the delinquents and the others before running off on her own. She found a secluded area away from the people to where she could ease herself. "Nahumar...What is going on?" She asked herself. Just then, the strange shrouded figure descended before her. His face completely covered and his voice changed slightly. "It appears that the one who holds the Autumn Gate is occupied at the moment...so to make sure she knows that these cards are not a game, I will enjoy playing with you." at first, Hana wanted to run but she stood there. "Nahumar? What happened to you? What did you do to the room?!" she asked. Sadly, Nahumar did not respond. "What happened? It's simple. I realized that the power of these cards are amazing. Now duel me." Hana shook her head. "No. I can't. Why should I fight you?" she asked. Nahumar drew the card of the Winter Gate and smiled. "If you win, you get to take this card back." Hana knew only so little of the card duel but accepted anyways. Her attire changed like that to be more like a monk and radiant like the sun. "If I must then I have nothing to lose. It will be my first match." The duel was under way. Nahumar and Hana exchanged bullets between one another. Each of their health points dwindling only by a sliver as they went. Hana only observed but Nahumar had the experience. It was the time to use a card. "Sun Sign: [Rays of Joy]!" upon the card's command, eight lazers fired from eight directions before bouncing and turning around. they would pick up speed as they fired at Nahumar directly. First, second, third and so on were dodged. The last one tricked him and managed to hit him for a good chunk of health. He smiled. "Good. For your first time, you seem to be well informed...but try this." He pulled a card out. "Curse of the Eight Sins!" The first card he loaded and used. A new one. The first pattern was green orbs of various sizes aimed at her, followed by a long blade like bullet to represent a sword slash, the third style was a more iconic black design that weaved in and out. After it changed to water droplets as if crying and followed by lightning styled lazers from the sky. Dodging the first, blocking the second with a barrier card, third was grazed as the others were avoidable...but it was not the end. As she dodge the last lazer, Nahumar was right up in her face. His eyes turned red as his grin was frighting in it's own. A swift punch sent Hana into the ground hard. The health was not much but the follow up attack with a barrage of danmaku managed to degrade her health down to the yellow. "Had enough? You can forfeit now and cease your foolish attempt to win." Nahumar taunted as he flexed his wrist. With his health still in the green, it seemed obvious who the winner was. Hana pulled herself from the ground, brushing the dust and dirt off her. Scrapes on her body yet she didn't seem so injured. "I will fight until the end. I will make you snap out of it!" Hana cried as she tossed a small wave pattern to distract Nahumar so she could fly back up in position. The fight had only begun. "Good. I do not want this to end so soon. We still got four cards each before the winner is determined by health."
"O-oh I don't need anything..," Sorina awkwardly spoke before Yuuka offered to join her. The assuring smile appeared once more. "I wouldn't mind. Maybe it will give me confidence later on." As she sat, Sorina had to ask a question that's been bugging her for a while. "By the way, I thought about your cards that match and since learning about a possible objective of this game. There seems to be four cards based on seasons. Maybe you have the Spring or Summer card in your possession? It's a card that looks like some part of a door while the entire thing is colored like the season." as she spoke of summer, it almost felt like a key word for her deck. A sea blue card with the title "Sea Summer Gate" labeled on it appeared in Yuuka's deck. If she pulled it out, it might cause a certain person to appear.

"I accept the challenge gladly!" Noraneko grinned as the five slots appeared before her. With her decisions already in mind, she swiftly picked her five cards and let the duel start, looking sideways as Yochi lifted her deck tilting it to the side. "Byakuren... Whatever the hell your name is... I challenge you~" Equally, the short delinquent picked her five cards quick and gave the thumbs up, "Let's go short-short~"
The two stood side to side waiting for the whole magic to kick in or whatever it was that happened afterwards as the duel begun.
----
"Yeaup. I think people are playing it too much, actually," Maria nodded, following her sight line to the group of delinquents all fired up against the two athletes. "Oii, Lucy, hello!... Care to join us for... our half finished lunch?" the kendo captain smiled at the blonde airhead.

Like Reimu, five panels appeared in front of Byakuren. She watched what Reimu did, placing a card in each one, so Byakuren did the same. She chose ones that she thought were nice and neat, and maybe even powerful. Once that was done, the duel would be underway (right?). Once the duel had begun, Byakuren's clothing changed and lifted off the ground. The tennis player was in shock as she watched her feet leave the ground. She flailed her arms hopelessly in front of her as she tried to, in some hopeless thought, make sure she was not going to fall and to keep her balance in mid-air, but as a result, Byakuren ended up doing a somersault in the air while screaming. She really hoped she could get the hang of this game quickly. ~~~~~ Yumi watched as two card games began to take place, one was the delinquent and a blond girl, and the other was two sports players and two more delinquents. She sighed a pained sigh. She had no idea what to do, so she made her way to a tree and sat down, leaning against it. She didn't see anyone where she was going to sit, so she didn't feel awkward. But there could have been people on the other side of her tree... maybe... ~~~~~ Rose smiled as she saw Lucy approaching her and Maria. "Hello, Lucy, how are you?" She asked the girl. When Lucy asked them if they were about to try playing the card game, Rose shook her head. "Oh no, we were just talking about it, really." She told the blonde. "Mostly our thoughts on the game and all. What are your thoughts, Lucy?" She asked Lucy.

Lucy waved a follow-up greeting. "Oh, I'm fine! And even better now~" She went to kneel by the two girls, although slightly closer to Maria. "(What are you eating? That looks good!) ...Oh right, the game! Um..." Lucy sat back on her knees, raising a finger to her chin in thought. "...Well, I have a lot of ideas about them. The cards, I mean. But even if my ideas are wrong, I still think they're something special!" With her bag idle to her side, she reached within to withdraw her deck, and layed her few cards out on the grass. "...Even if mine are blank, I still think they're important. Why else would they just magically appear like tha--Ah?" Lucy finally realized the ensuing battle on the far side of the yard, with each of the four duelists primed and ready for battle.
A sort of excitement lit up her face at the sight. Lucy gasped, eyes filled with stars, as she leaned forward and as close to the action as her current prone posture allowed without tipping forward.
"See?!" With one hand she pointed to the quintuple. "I told you!!"
====
Eyes shut, Reimu breathed out. That same feeling of weightlessness returned, earning equal amounts of both excitement and nausea. When she opened her eyes, her appearance had changed once again, taking on fantastic amounts of exaggeration. Was that really necessary?
With a grace very much unlike her partner, who flailed about uselessly beside her, Reimu touched off the ground with slightly more practice under her belt. The humble push of her legs sent her aloft gently in the air. She squeezed one hand, summoning a set of four glowing needles.
"Guess I go first?" A small flash of a grin, and she swung out her arm, releasing the four needles in an arc aimed for Noraneko, while simultaniously summoning another set in the off hand. A slow start, but she needed to gauge the enemy's strength before committing to a more powerful spell...
====
"Cards...?" Yuuka looked to Sorina, seemingly puzzled. She seemed to ponder for a moment, then with a subtle hint of disgust, continued, "...Oh. Yes." The look faded, and she smiled sweetly, reaching to her basket to withdraw an apple. The fruit was vibrantly red, and she offered it to Sorina with an outstretched hand, setting it before the young woman's lap.
"Perhaps I do... Perhaps I don't. I have many cards at my disposal. What does it matter to you?" Yuuka's smile persisted, even as she reached to her hip, fetching the deck of cards from her belt. She eyed them, then turned her gaze on Sorina. "Why? Were you looking for a rematch~? ...Or is there some other reason you're confronting me with this information?"

Asking for a rematch? Oh she would never think of that. "No no! It's not that...Just...well I had a special card that Nahumar took to keep it safe. I know i shouldn't tell people but i have this feeling that someone is after these special cards. For a reason I do not know." Sorina looked off to where the duel was happening between the four girls. Though what caught her ears was the following. "Guys! I am seeing two people floating and throwing weird projectiles over by the track area! I swear to god!" "Huh? Two people?" "Yeah, one looks like Hana but the other...I don't know." Sorina did not know if they were insane for doing it in public or if they were discovered by accident. Part of her wanted to go...but the other side wanted to just wait. "Hana..." she didn't look at Yuuka as she spaced out for the moment. She finally decided to eat the apple after talking for a while, Enjoying it. "It's crisp."
--- As another clash of bullets ensued, the small crowd formed below them. Nahumar grinned under the hood. "It seems we gathered a crowd." he pointed to the crowd looking at them. "You have to stop this." Hana tried to talk once more as she was shoved aside for his second card. "Fear Sign: Fear the Reaper!" his danmaku changed into curved like blades and tossing them at her. They weaved in and out as they spun around to try and disorient Hana as well as aiming to hit her life again. She used a barrier card to deflect and reduce the damage on her as she countered with her own spell. "Golden Rays of Bliss!" Her lazers began penetrating the scythe danmaku as it hit Nahumar, sending his health into the yellow zone as well. He responded with more bullets, dodging and clashing as they went. The bystanders at first thought it was a stunt for a movie but when they noticed Hana under her transformed veil they all wanted to call out to her to win. "Do you hear those people? They want you to win...but it's not going to happen!" Nahumar closed the gap between himself and Hana, grabbing her arm and tossing her towards the ground. He raised another card as his hand started to crackle with purple lightning. "Frightful Sign!" His hand started to charge a beam as he held it behind him. "Incubo..." He then sent forth the hand with the orb while shouting loud. "SPARK!" a large wave of dark purple energy came crashing down on Hana. Her health meter depleting faster than one could count. The beam grew more into a pillar as it engulfed a seven yard radius around her. When the beam finished, Hana laid on the ground in her normal outfit. Her outfit was fine but a bit of scrapes left on her body. Nahumar descended to Hana and picked her up by the back of her neck. "Wake up. You lost." "H-huh..." Nahumar shook Hana as he tossed her in front of the crowd. Though she was not injured the battle did take a toll on her spiritually. The crowd wanted to beat up Nahumar, not knowing it was the delinquent, but hesitated due to seeing him launch a giant spark out of no where. So he slipped in the shadows with a message for Hana to give to Byakuren. "Tell Byakuren to arrive on the roof of the school at midnight. Otherwise I will find more helpless victims to pray on for those remaining two cards."
As Hana was helped up by the students watching, they escorted her to the nurse's office to rest up. The news would spread only about a masked attacker that could of been linked to the earlier incident. An incident the police could not handle but a few girls with cards. Since Byakuren and the others were preoccupied with their little skirmish, Hana's whereabouts and activity would be under the covers for the moment. ((Aka: Hana is partly out of the RP. She will be resting up and I will post as her once she is engaged.))

Nora grinned as she too had the magic lift her, but unlike the other two she seemed to not struggle with the power lifting her. Her bangs went white, her outfit turning into a suspendered pair of black pants and a white shirt. Her shoes staid tough, even as a single suspender held at her shoulder and the other staid limp at her waist. Now knowing better, when the power let her off and to the ground she landed on her feet,"Alright~"
Hazumi picked her cards. Instead of being lifted, she staid on her feet and on the ground. A small work of the power and she was in a pair of tough brown pants and a sleeveles coat with a trailing tail resembling some desperado outfit. All the same her glasses darkened and her eyes seemed to gray in. "Ready N?"
Before the taller delinquent could speak, the soccer player's attack was upon her. "Noraneko!" "Oh Shi----"" The black haired girl cringed back hiding behind her arms. a burts of shiny minerals raised and blocked the attack effectively. "Go!" Noraneko opened her eyes, saw the minerals, and ran for the wall.
She reached up and with athletic perfection she heisted herself over wall, pushing of with her foot. Her supernatural strength pushed her up to the flying Reimu, with a flared fist aimed to impact her right of flight.
Meanwhile below the wall of minerals had disappeared. Hazumi swung her arm across, shooting the same kind of minerals at Byakuren. ----
"At this point if they told me these things conjured aliens of an alternate reality I would really believe it," Maria sighed, then looked sideways at Lucy,with a smile, "Oh this used to be some teriyaki, sorry I ate the last of it before you really got to see the whole thing."
Before she said something else, Lucy was having a fit over the four-member fight going on not far from them. "Wow that is incredible!... They hardly look like they did a second ago!"

As the mineral bullets flew at Byakuren, she screamed and managed to move herself out of the way of most of them, still getting hit by a few of them on her arm. She watched as an HP bar representing her health dropped a little bit. Byakuren decided to try her luck at firing some magical bullets. She focused her energy and pushed her hands forward, creating a lotus blossom in front of her about the size of someones head. After a second, the blossom fired a stream of golden bullets that all flew towards Nazumi. The blossom disappeared after the bullets had finished firing. As the bullets were flying, Byakuren threw her arms out to her sides, creating two more lotus blossoms over her head and far apart. From their centers, they created a thin, red line that targeted and locked on to Hazumi's location, but they did not fire yet. ~~~~~ Rose inched over a little as Lucy moved in between her and Maria. Lucy brought out her own cards and began talking about them. When Lucy pointed out the four people fighting, Rose looked over and watched as well. Maria pointed out that they looked different from how they did a little while ago, to which Rose answered with a nod. "I wonder if... we'll ever play this card game..." Rose pondered aloud, kind of wanting to hear Maria and Lucy's thoughts on the question. ~~~~~ Yumi gave a quiet gasp as she watched the game. She actually wasn't gasping about the game, but there was someone, or some people, rather, on the other side of her tree. Yumi didn't want to appear as awkward, but her curiosity got the better of her. She peeked around the tree, holding on to the side of it, to see who was there; she saw the gardener Yuuka Kazami, and the love-struck (seeming to her, at least,) student Sorina. Yumi gave a mental sigh, relaxed that it was only those two. Unfortunately for her, her hand slipped and she fell down, a little off to the side from Sorina and Yuuka. Yumi lay very still, although, her head was facing towards them. She did not show a panicked face, but rather a sort of confused face.

"Y... YEAH!" Lucy answered Rose, bouncing onto her knees. "We should totally play! But... We don't know how to, do we? And my cards are blank, so what could that mean?! But I really really wanna play, especially if we get to do things like that!" She pointed to the ensuing battle, as magic and debris began to fly. "And they looks sooo cool! Maria, what do you think? Can we try, can we can we??!" By now, Lucy had crawled closer to the journalist, nearing her face closer and closer. "Pleeeaaase?! Rose wants to try too, right?? So we gotta!"

Fast, yet relatively slow relfexes... definately strong, though appears to be grounded. In the very first moments as the duel began, Reimu began to analyze her opponent to the best of her ability. While the powers the cards gave their owners still remained a mystery to her, it was obvious that they both granted strength, but also restrictions. For the time being, Reimu appeared to have the advantage of flight over her opponent, but even the delinquent found ways around that.
With Noraneko fast approaching, Reimu decided it was time to test out her own strength, hoping she was granted more than flight and a few fancy fireworks. With a burst of magic from her fingertips, a small square panel flashed into existance behind Reimu momentarily, allowing her to kick off it and reverse her momentum, straight into the path of the incoming punch. As she flew, she spun forward and swung her heel hard and downard, attempting to collide with either the delinquent's punch, or somewhere on her head or shoulders. Little did Reimu realize, her own physical power would scarcely match up to the Oni Incarnate's...

"I see." Yuuka stated bluntly, returning her deck to her side. "I suppose... I should thank you for the information. Though, did it ever cross your mind that I might be the one who is after these cards you mentioned~?" She chuckled to herself, and returned to watching the fight as it had escalated. Yuuka could hear more noise than the fight, however; buzzing, murmurs, talking. Had another student been attacked? It mattered not; it only meant there was one less contestant in the Game.
"Of course it is crisp, Sorina dear... Why, would you think I had poisoned it~? I'm not so much the witch some people make me out to be, you know. I can be far worse~" She mused with a smirk, reaching to her basket to retrieve something, when a sudden small noise drew her interest. Yuuka turned her head to find the small Yumi having just collapsed not far from her, and gave a sweet, almost scary smile to the young woman. "My, guests are just popping up all over the place! I assume you've come to see the show? Or are you further entertainment...?"
