(yeah but what I'm saying is that's a load of crap. The simple matter of fact is that Daymond would NOT just go unopposed for 17 years. There are supernatural schools, armies, and legendary heroes EVERYWHERE in this universe, that would have been constantly fighting against his forces the moment it got any where near the level of corruption your talking about. You need to remember this isn't just a stand alone high school rp anymore, its a full blown universe full of all sorts of factions and fighters, ones that would not just sit back and watch as all this was happening.

Saying Daymond used evil rituals to deal with the other gods as a hand wave is utter bullshit and you know it. There are plenty of other gods who have way more followers and would be much more powerful, and if he had magic capable of weaking other gods than the other gods, particularly the evil ones, would have similiar magic as well. There are many gods that deal in ritualistic sacrafice, many gods of death and deceptions, GOD (christian god) exists in this universe. I'm sorry but a single being and a handful of cultist would not be able to make that kind of a push in the unviverse we have set up, and the idea that YMHS is somehow the last bastion of hope isn't just a flimsy premise for the story, but an insulting one to everyone who's tried to contribute to the world outside of this specific rp.

Thessia is NOT warped by Chaos, this is a fact because MCA and Blue Shields takes place the same time as this rp, and everything over there is fine. CASE ******** CLOSED. Also all the places they've visited in these two rps would also be chaos free because s**t wasn't ******** up there when we did it.

I know you want to make Daymond a serious threat, but you can't undo what's allready been established. This isn't some cheap dime a dozen rp where "oh no its up to a group of teenagers with attitude to save the day!" this is a world, a world with rules, a world full of people who would have seen Daymond's advances coming and would have acted to stop them.

If there is really an evil god sowing chaos throughout the world, the combined races of the world would have acted to stop him, I'm not saying that he would be defeated, but its equally as ridicolous to say he managed to curb stomp EVERYONE and yet somehow YMHS students, half of which aren't combat trained, will somehow manage to pull it off.

If you had simply stated the world was in trouble, and YMHS was needed to AIDE the fight, helping to contribute to the rest of the world's efforts to fend them off I would understand, that would make sense, that would be GOOD story telling, but this cliche, lore breaking, end of the world, poorly thought out crap is not good story telling, and I'm not playing along with it.)

sorry I blew up. I wasn't in the best mood yesterday, and that's my fault. But yeah that rewrite works fine.

and as for the gods my point is that every religion/pantheon of gods exist in this universe, as well as a fairly accurate level of followers for each. That means that Jehovah, Buddah, and the hindu deities, would have insane amounts of followers, infact they have a monopoly on every non aware human in the world, because those are the main religions in the non supernatural world right now, and they have all the people from their various afterlifes to call on as worshippers aswell, which ranks their following in the trillions, so that's why the idea of Daymond going from a sealed entity that almost no one knew about, to being able to beat every single god, in just 17 years doesn't really work, because, based on the system you devised, he wouldn't be strong enough. It would take centuries maybe thousands of years to build up followers in secret without getting the other god's attention before he could do something on this kind of scale, and even then he'd be at such a disadvantage that he'd basically be stuck to gorilla warfare, having to send a quick attack on the planet here and there and go into hiding again before he drew to much attention.

I figured that Daymond, knowing how the whole followers thing worked, would be smart enough to put off doing anything to flashy knowing he'd have to work behind the scenes to arrange things in his favor, which would be why he would just be "sitting around" for 17 years. The only real reason he'd be getting away with something like this on this kind of scale would be if the other gods simply didn't see him as a threat to them, or where lazy and where leaving it to Rem alone since that's her job as the goddess of order. To be honest it does work alot better as him being an emerging threat instead of one that's been plaguing the world off screen, because that makes more sense. If he's just now starting to ******** s**t up then we don't have to answer questions like what have the gods been doing this whole time? or why haven't the other armies been fighting back? because we can actually explain these things as they go along without breaking the lore to much. It'd make sense for the gods to ask for a school to help if they didn't think the situation was that serious. If you have it so Daymond is just emerging recently, and the others don't really take him seriously, then that gives you the chance to have Daymond flex his powers by blowing up a few countries or something, then things can scale up from there. Start small and then raise the stakes later on, its much more dramatic and satisfying that way.

I mean what sounds better

"well the bad guy's basically already won, we kinda failed horribly to stop him and now we, The gods of the universe, have to rely on you guys to stop them because we have a magical mcgoufin that will defeat him that we conveniently forgot about for 17 years"

or

"the bad guy is starting an uprising, though he shouldn't be to much of a threat so we'll just have you school kids deal with it (Daymond blows up Tibet...and Switzerland) OH s**t! I think we may have underestimated him a bit, quick get the other schools! get the armies of the world! get the magic mcgoufins that we remembered at an actually realistic time! we need to launch a massively epic battle to stop this new branching threat!"

remember Meta, there's a reason why Mass Effect is more popular than (insert generic JRPG here) A feeling of being able to prepare and stand up against a threat using your skills and diplomatic saviness, bringing the entire world together to stand as one, is alot cooler than being "the choosen one" and poking the demon god with a magic stick of convenient god-power-taking-away-ness)
